I come here often because like most, it's the closest ups. I do a lot off Amazon shopping but I also have many returns. I'm usually organized to make everyone's life easier but there's the redhead lady who works there who is soo mean. She always has a mean look when you walk in and one time she actually yelled at me. I wasn't rude back because I was in so much shock but I was really angry. It ruined my night. She yelled because I was trying to show her the barcode to scan from my phone from Amazon and she yelled at me for not bringing it closer to her. That was really upsetting. I almost wanted to cry. Her bad day became my bad day. I hope she finds a job that makes her happy because this one definitely does not make her happy, it really shows and customers feel uneasy. read more

This store has been my go to place for mailing or shipping anything for the last 5 years. Unfortunately they're more then willing to lose my loyal business over $35 dollars. On December 20th I went as I do every year to mail my grandmothers Christmas box. The box had just a couple gifts and a homemade gifts basket of candies and cookies. The lady at the counter suggested I use USPS to get it there the fastest, so that's what I did. I paid $35.16 to have it shipped guaranteed 2 day shipping. Whelp it didn't arrive. That's right my almost 90 year old grandmother didn't have our gifts to open for Christmas. I called the box store. Opened an investigation with UPSP and even talked to the post office. The post office claims it didn't leave the UPS store until December 24th. The package was finally delivered on December 27th. The ups store is now telling me I have to go to the post office for my money back. Here's the deal... I didn't go to the post office... I trusted my package with my neighborhood UPS store, I gave my money to the UPS store! Let's not over look the fact that it's taken 10 days and 4 phone calls for them to tell me that the owner has decided that he's not giving me my $35.16 back. So won't be using them anymore. * I wish I could figure out how to reply to the owner. Your staff did say it was a 2 day guarantee and I wasn't offered a UPS option or I would have taken that. I took the quickest most guaranteed option I was given it wasn't about the money. I would have gladly paid more to have it there as promised. It's still not about the money. It was about the way you chose to handle the situation and continues to handle it. Your reply only solidifies my complaint. You take 0 responsibility for the packages that your customers put in your care once you've made your dollar. read more

I have been to every UPS store in the area and this is by FAR the worst. They will gouge you at every turn and look to milk every dime from you any way possible. These are not your friendly neighborhood UPS policies. This location charged me 7$ for a plastic bag. Not even a padded envelope, a BAG. No other UPS store around does anything like this, most offer it as a courtesy. Steer clear, it is worth it to go to any other UPS store. read more

Very disappointed. I went in on Friday dropped off a prepaid package no problem. I had a Birthday Card that need extra postage. I had two forever stamps on there and asked the lady to weigh it because it required extra postage. The lady said NO your fine, your over. Well I received my mothers birthday card back today on her birthday. Nice. Returned due to needing $1.69 more in postage so obviously she didn't weigh. After shipping 3 items ( on different occasions ) from this UPS location, I continue to see the same flawed behavior. The shipping staff is elderly, hard-of-hearing, and has difficulty using computerized equipment. Even worse, Carolyn is consistently combative and blamed me several times for mis-writing & mis-spelling address information when it was actually her confusion in using the computer properly. After several attempts at creating a shipping label, Carolyn finally succeeded. However, when I left the store, I noticed that my return address was still incorrect. My name was also misspelled. I will no longer use this location. I suggest you avoid it too. Or, at least avoid Carolyn. read more

I am self-employed and I used to ship all my stuff through UPS; however, it is because of these highly rude people that I cancelled my UPS account and went exclusively through FedEx. The only reason why I ever come into this place is when my client has a prepaid UPS return shipping label. Even then I try to talk them into switching over to FedEx. I normally carry my own packing tape but one time I was driving my wife's car and didn't have it with me. They told me that they were going to charge me for using their tape. Talk about tripping over dollars to pick up nickels. I think that was the straw that broke the camel's back and I cancelled my UPS account that day. I told them that I'm a self-employed IT guy and I ship a lot of stuff using UPS but they didn't seem to care. There's a Postal Annex down the street and they're a lot more friendly. Avoid this place and give them your business. read more

This location has the nicest, most helpful staff. I am a mobile notary and drop document packets from loan signings off at UPS every day all over the greater Sacramento area. Packaging can often be difficult since there can be around 200 pages in a set of documents. Today I had one such large packet, and had to use a soft bag which is less than ideal since it provides very little support and there is a good chance the documents could become damaged. The manager suggested putting one of the more sturdy envelopes into the bag along with the documents for rigidity. She is the first person to ever suggest this, and it is the greatest, kindest, and most helpful thing anyone at a UPS or FedEx has ever done for me. It is small, but says a lot for their concern for customers and satisfaction. read more

Yesterday I had the good fortune of being waited on by Domonique. I am elderly and I hate electronics! I went into your store to make a quick return and when the QR code did not come up I handed my phone to Domonique and said "here"!!! She took over for me and found out I was four days past the thirty day return period. She then told I needed call them to get an extension and I told her I couldn't find their number. She took over again for me and placed the call. She then told me when she was not helping someone else she would check on me to see how I was doing. I was not doing well! When I finally got to speak with someone from Amazon, he wanted me to give him the code and I didn't know how to find it and keep him on the phone. There were no other customers at that time and once again to my delight Domonique took over! Eventually the process was completed! I was able to return my item. If it hadn't been for Domonique's kind heart and patients I would be stuck with an item I did not want! She was wonderful! Thank you Domonique for being so helpful and so kind. I have been to this UPS store 4 times, and each time has been unpleasant. The customer service there is awful, and the women who work there are rude. I kept trying again after the first visit in hopes that it was a one-off, but unfortunately that has not been the case. I will have to find another UPS store location. The Husband and I came to this UPS Store location because he had to mail a package for his work. We came in around lunchtime on a Saturday, and were shocked to see the long line inside! There was a group of people mailing 1800+ envelopes, but luckily they had more than one person working so the line was kept moving. They have some self serve copy machines here, and well as a bunch of packing and related supplies. They have decorative padded envelopes, various sizes of plain brown boxes, tape, pens, greeting cards, etc. The ladies that work there are not overly friendly, but friendly enough. Even though this is a UPS Store, they can also mail your letters and packages by USPS, but I would recommend going to the Post Office if you wanted to mail something that way because there is a large surcharge here for mailing something other than UPS. They have a drop off section to the right of the counter for packages that are already paid for which I have utilized many times because it's so convenient and you don't have to stand in the line. read more

This place is horrible!!! I came in to package and mail some baby shower boxes for a virtual shower in October and Carolyn (Karen) would not even price it out for me. I don't know if it was my dark skin, but I will say the condescending way she spoke to me said it all. If you need to mail something UPS there are plenty of options. Had shipped my daughter (in the navy) some times that were imperative that she got right away... paid almost $200 for a small box that they "guaranteed" would be shipped over night... needless to say package got there 5 days later. Came in to see if there was anything they could do, even just a credit for future shipping's and the lady points at a sign and said "nothing guaranteed! Not doing anything about it." They gave me an incorrect tracking number. No, I did not make a mistake typing it in. It didn't show up. I payed for 1 day shipping which was hundreds of dollars and they messed up and lost it. This store is close and convient to my home and very clean. I love the fact that my bank started working with them making making deposits a breeze for me. Most of the employees are pretty nice, although a few of them are argumentative and treat me like I am stupid. I had never made copies there and on my first time in, no one explained the little magnet thingies to me. I was pretty confused and asked the associate how to make copies. He sighed loudly and pointed at the magnets. After I was done making copies, I hung the magnet back up and went to the counter letting him know how many copies I had made. He said rudly, "Just bring me your magnet key." How was I supposed to know!? read more

Well fast-forward two months and the grand decision is we were only hopefully receive what ever the sale was for. They had asked me if I wanted insurance and I said yes but it is not INSURANCE. . . IT IS DECLARED VALUE!!!! BEWARE OF THE TRICKERY!!! I paid for $2000 of insurance but I actually am only getting the value of what the item sold for and that's all you will ever receive from UPS because if it's sold for $900 $900 is what you will get back if all packaging and all of the other stringent rules that they have for a package are adhered to. There is definitely something going on though between this nasty employee Karen and the manager I think Tim at the UPS store I think there is favors going on between the two wink wink if you know what I mean because each were standing up for each other and neither person were there together to k ow what the other said, making it quite weird! Rude staff, I brought packages that weren't taped because I don't own packing tape and staff member was irritated that she had to spend 3 seconds taping them for me. Already had shipping label on them, just needed to be taped shut and that is hard apparently. Said loudly "Tape them more next time" and then when I didn't answer she said "you can go now." We visited this UPS store on Saturday 9-21-19. We were returning an electric Scooter back to Amazon -- but it would not fit in the original box. The store was extremely busy --but their staff worked on how to re-box this scooter. They had a solution of placing a larger box on top --- but while we were there --a UPS Delivery driver noticed our problem -- and he eventually tucked the scooter back into the original box. So thank you UPS Driver and also this store for strapping with tape and putting on our delivery label. She could have easily asked us to come back another day when they were not so busy --- but she finished the job! Thanks again to all involved! read more

I have had the best service from this location. I first went to the post office in Bel Air and left because they said I needed to pay for additional product. But while driving back home thought I would try the UPS store to see what they could offer. I left one happy girl, the service from Carolyn and Lanita was the best ever. You comment is false. I called the main UPS number and personally spoke with management in shipping about the proper procedure to reimburse the first shipping charge. They had already credited your account when I called back but Your office refused to listen, responding that I would have to pay for additional shipping again because "that was your policy". You were already refunded...the real UPS office couldn't believe the run around I was getting and delivered on time to the correct address. Just found out there is new owners here. You can no longer drop off "corporate" shipping when using a prepaid corporate number. You have to take it to the "hub" in Rocklin. I spoke with an employee who remains nameless who told me that the new owner does not care about this part of the business because he/she doesn't make any money on it. The only thing they care about is the things they get paid for at the time of your visit. How sad to be so short sided! I guess they don't think people like me who drop off this type of package will ever buy boxes, make copies, buy pens and markers, order supplies, buy greeting cards, pay for help with packaging, buy stamps, send faxes etc etc. So I guess they won't make any money on that stuff from people like me anymore. I will be visiting another UPS store in my area and buy all the other things elsewhere. Providing a nice service with grace is a fine way to increase future business and community goodwill. Sender beware! Twice we have mailed time sensitive items from this location and twice it has NOT been received in the timely manner costing our business money. From Roseville to SoCal shouldn't be any big deal but for some reason this location could not deliver. Around the same time I had traveled and mailed items from a differ UPS location out of state and it made it from OR to SoCal faster. I have also mailed an item with the United States Postal Service over a holiday to FLA and it got there faster! Filing a claim is worthless (they state UPS won't due to "severe" weather). They instead are sending our packages halfway across the US only to send them back and blame weather. This is clearly a location issue! The staff and owner could care less.
