I've had a UPS account since I was in college. I've moved around and been to many UPS stores. This is the first time I was told I could not have a receipt showing that I dropped off a prepaid package. Instead I was told that I could use tracking (yeah, I'm some sort of idiot that can't use tracking that is why I have my own account and can print my own labels). Tracking still does not prove if the package ever made it to the store. The logic of those employees boggles me. I understand the need to cut cost on paper goods, but it is not like they are handing them out to everyone. Next time I will just schedule a pickup I guess ,and deal with the UPS driver on our route who is always pissed due to the heat outside. The only thing about this location its right off the frontage and you can miss the entrance to the shopping center then you would have to go and do a uturn if you miss it. But other then that store was clean great customer service and fast service didnt wait around for a long period time. read more

Anything associated with UPS pretty much sucks. Only use UPS when you want to waste money and not send/receive packages on time.

I needed to get estate planning documents notarized before getting on a flight. My husband and I were to be traveling with our two young children, both under the age of two and needless to say it was a hectic morning getting everyone out the door. In addition to notarizing the estate planning documents, I also needed letters sent certified mail. I was in a hurry and the lunch rush was coming in with people lining up. Debra was working alone that morning, but nevertheless, she worked super fast and maintained a cheerful disposition the entire time. Without her, I don't know if we would have made our flight. I have been to this store many time and each time I get worse service. Normally I let it slide and keep coming back because it is so close to my home. But I think its time to find a different UPS store. Last week I went in to return a box I had not opened and normally you just drop it off and they send it back to the company, Well Dee the "Store manager" told me I needed to pay to return the package. I told her I had never had to before just to return a unopened package and she said she was not sending it back unless I paid. So of course I paid and kept the info so I can call the company to make sure they receive it. read more

Went to return an item where the company provided the label for me via email. Last time I went to a different UPS Store when I asked it they could print the label for me (I don't have a printer) it was not a problem, I could just email the store and they'd print it from there, for free. Nope, not here. Here I had to pay (Pre-authorization is $20) in order to use their slow rental PC, log into my email, and print the label. Total of $4 to print on an 8x11 piece of regular paper. Won't be going back here again, which sucks because they have decent customer service and they're quick. read more

This is a story of a frustrated, angry customer, who strongly feels that he needs to inform public regarding the systematic scam which is being run in the name of "rent a computer" at this store. I lost only $4.28 cents but I felt that it is my duty to make the owner of the store, as well as the public to be aware of my experience. I will describe the incident, and then I will let you be the judge. I went to this store this morning. This is an independent franchise store in Round Rock, TX.I intended to print a return label and return an item which my wife had purchased from Amazon. The front desk guy by name James, who didn't seem to be too enthused to help the customer gave me some cursory instructions, and informed me that "you will have to rent a computer". To make long story short I used my credit card to log in to "so called" "rent a computer". I went to my Gmail account to get to the label. I requested help. James came and then informed me that this package can only be returned via Kohl Store. I hardly used the so called "rent a computer" for about a minute. I was charged $4.28 cents. I could not even get my package returned. Debbie (manager) did intervene only when she saw that I was very unhappy and angry. The manager and front desk guy don't seem to have any skills regarding dealing with the customers, The manger wasn't of much help. She told me "don't come to this store again if you are unhappy". I then found out that rate to rent a "Rent a computer" is $3.59/ minute, which is $215.40/ hour. I believe this is more than a fee charged by a board certified consultant physician for an initial consultation. I will end my story and let you be the judge. I have given rating score of 1 because I am compelled. The system doesn't allow me to give score Zero or Negative score. read more

Once arrived I was greeted and served all under 5 mins to include superb conversation with Debbie and James..... will definitely use them during the holidays for my service. Dropped off a large, heavy box this morning to ship via UPS Ground. I was helped by James, who was super sharp and very on the ball. He juggled several customer's needs, trying to get everyone handled efficiently. He helped me ship my box, giving me all the necessary choices and options to choose from while also carrying on a pleasant conversation with me. HORRIBLE STORE!!! I dropped off a package at this store to be returned. I called the company a month later to see why I havent recieved a credit and they said they never got the package. When I called this UPS store the man was so rude! After practically calling me a liar he took down my name and number and never called me back! I emailed the store as well and never recieved a response. This is horrible customer service and I will never use this store again! If you want someone to lose your package and then treat you like crap this is the store for you! read more

I just moved to round rock and I love this UPS! They're always so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help me with the door if it all possible when I'm carrying large packages. They also just helped me out with a fax service. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars! read more

This store is owned by a thief and is extremely unprofessional. I tried to buy tape for my box and Chuck "kindly" offered to tape it for me. When the box arrived to my dad, his present wasn't inside. There was no sign of tampering or un-taping. Instead, candy that had been floating around in the box had been put in the gift bag as a cover-up for stealing the pricey items. I obviously wouldn't pack a big box and pay ~$20 to ship 1 little bag of gummy bears. I have called, left messages and emailed Chuck - he doesn't answer or reply. He is apparently never "in". I've contacted the corporate office and they say he is the sole person resonsible for refunding shipping cost and paying me for the items since it's a franchise. The items were stolen in July, it is now nearly December. Jerk. Do not use this UPS store if you want your items to arrive or you want recourse when they don't. read more

Great service. I always mail my packages and letters here. It can be a little pricey sometimes if I don't bring my own mailing envelope. I started doing that, and it helped me save a few bucks. The line is way shorter then at the post office, and the store is incredibly nice and clean. read more

Deceptive Trade Practices. Pretend to be UPS, but not. Base shipping rate is the same, but everything else is overcharged. If you must use UPS, buy your shipping online and drop it off at a store to go out. Better yet, use Fedex or USPS. read more

I visited this store recently to pack and ship a fragile stained glass panel. I'd called both this store and a nearby FedEx beforehand for cost estimates, and FedEx would have charged me over twice as much to ship the item. The price for shipping from UPS was much more affordable, and I received confirmation from the recipient of the panel that it arrived on time and that it had been packed securely. Moreover, the UPS service person took the time to answer questions for me and give me estimates for shipping future panels of different sizes. This will definitely be the place I go for all of my future shipping needs! read more

Amazing customer service at this location. Even if you missed a certain packaging or labeling they just take care of it without making a big deal out of it. They understand the essence of time and try to multi task with customers , so they can take care of everyone that walked in. Great people when compared to the UPS at 620. read more
