I asked for a stamp ... charged a $1.00- like who cares but it would of been nice to have been notified the "extra charge" . Needed to ship UPS , barcode was short from printout . I took a package to this UPS store on July 1, 2022. It was with another package, package number one was safely delivered to Texas. Package number two never made it. Same size package same address. Now this is September 20 2022 and I have not received the insurance refund that I should've received several months ago I called this UPS store this morning and the manager Brandi is very flustered because she is all by her self and has several customers and the phone is ringing. I don't consider this Good customer service. Maybe she should consider getting a little bit more help as when they open up you never know how many people are going to be there or how many calls you're going to get. read more

Still no parking spaces as mentioned long ago. At some point, they need to take responsibility for the lack of loading areas and let go of the $1 amazon pays them to scan a box and let people hand it to the ups driver. Literally not taking any of their space or storage. Or, as mentioned long ago, come out back and scan the boxes like they do at other locations. read more

This is by far the best UPS store I've been to. I just moved to the area August 1st and I actually don't dread going in there for the last 3 times I have. I came in to return shoes that were gifted to me, i was waiting a while but they were short staffed and there was a customer giving one specific employee a difficult time. She handled the situation very professionally. once it was my turn, said employee was helping me with my return. she helped answer all my questions and i was out of there in no time after that. however i over heard how she had been doing everything all morning. This is the worst UPS store I've ever been to. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my house so I go there just for the convenience of it. If the employees moved any slower they would actually be stopped. They don't seem to care that there's a line of customers out the door; even the manager has the same attitude. She doesn't ever move anybody along or try to work harder to get people in and out quicker. If I didn't have to take Amazon returns there I would never step foot in that store again read more

I had a terrible experience with this store on February 2nd, lost a package of mine that was supposed to be returned to UGG, but never made it to the destination. Now my package had a USPS label, and the store associate assured me that it would get to its destination but we cannot give you a receipt and check into our system. She advanced me to take a picture of the return label and that would suffice. I found very strange because I know UPS does collaborative work with USPS during the holiday season so why wouldn't it be able to go as smoothly when I'm trying to return something. After waiting a few days and taking the store associates advice I tried putting the tracking number into the USPS system but of course it was nowhere to be found. I then visited the US Post Office in Santee to see if I could locate the package that way, but of course no help there either. When I returned to the UPS store on Feb. 7th, I again asked if sales associate if anything could be done to help me out but of course they took no responsibility for taking my package. They just advised me to file a claim with the post office. I did find it very suspicious and strange that when I went back to the Santee UPS Store the sales associate remembered that it was an UGG package that I was returning, but did not remember anything else. After failing to get any thing accomplished with this store associate, I was able to get the phone number of the owner of the UPS Store, his name is Greg apparently. Well I've tried to get ahold of Greg for the past week and a half and here it is two weeks after package was sent out and I still have not been able to get any help or find any resolution. I usually have very nice things to say about UPS, but something suspicious is happening at this store and the Lakeside UPS store. I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Without asking your permission this store will add more expensive options to your shipment, like UPS Carbon Neutral shipping and other options that jack up the price. It's dishonest and despicable to do it without asking even if it is a good idea. From now on I'll make sure I make my own labels online so I know what I'm paying for and use you only for what you're good for, package drop offs. read more

My husband and I were interested in creating graphics for a marketing brochure for a mass mailing. We started at another office/ups location and after explaining what we wanted to accomplish, the staff looked at us with their heads tilted, eye balls and tongues hanging out, saying "duhhhh".... No freaking clue or help. Defeat. We made our way to the Santee location, and since we were already beaten down from our earlier experience, we were ready for another exhausting exchange with hopes of a silver lining. We walk in, and there stood that silver lining! There, on a 10 foot ladder, changing a lightbulb, our solution came down the steps as if he floated down from the heavens! "Hi I'm Greg! Every time I come in here for various reasons they treat you super good. It's like the olden days when the customer was always number one. I come here all the time to drop stuff off for UPS--and the staff is really nice! I only recently discovered that you can send stuff to USAA savings bank here and also have stuff notarized. I'm thrilled! They really care about their business here. Plus--at my last visit, I saw a sign for secure document shredding for just $.99 per pound. What a great deal! At any rate--lots of great stuff. Color copies, shipping supplies, fax and more: everything you need, all in one place. I think it's great! I heard in the media that this (Dec 18) was the last day to mail packages to get there by Xmas. I drove by the Santee post office and the parking lot was full. I looked inside and saw that the line was out of the office part and halfway through the lobby. So, I drove to the Santee UPS store a short distance away. There was a parking spot right in front. I walked in and there was no line. I was waited on immediately! The staff was courteous and helpful and I was done in minutes. I later checked the prices online and saw that the cutoff for parcel post was actually two days earlier 16th and for priority was the 21st. The price differential was only about $3 for both packages I sent compared to priority mail with USPS. That $3 was well worth the hour or so I would have waited at the local post office. read more

Always a great experience at the UPS Store Santee! The owner and the employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Each visit, the employees work quickly to get you in and out! I find the location so convenient (right in the middle of town) and parking is easy! Upon my last visit, I noticed the woman in front of me was using the notary service. I thought ~ what a great service to offer here if you need a notary! Each time I visit, the employees are sure to explain the tracking information and anything else that is helpful to know about what you are shipping, such as a return.
