Mark and Kathy take the time to get to know the people that walk in, and if that isn't excellent customer service I don't know what is. I've been into many UPS stores like this one and use them regularly for work related shipments. This location is by far, the best! While UPS policies in all of these stores are no doubt the same, the difference here is the amazing service they provide. Mark is truly caring and service oriented. He has happily accommodated every one of my requests, involving deadlines, special packaging for fragile items, international shipments, and even advocating on my behalf for a refund from UPS when they couldn't make a delivery on time. Well, this is interesting. Apparently (and this is straight from UPS themselves!), this has not been a UPS Store since February 14 this year! Apparently, there is a legal battle going on over the owner's continued use of the UPS logo etc. Last week, I was by there and there was a notice on the door telling them to pay the rent in three days or leave! Bizarre. Update: I was able to find out a bit more on this. This store is very much OPEN. Apparently it is being run on an interim basis as a "satellite" of another store, whose owners are in the process of buying this one - this explains why it doesn't presently show up on the UPS website. It's "business as usual". I just sent something from there on Saturday, and it's en route. read more

You expect a location to be opened at its posted time. Not this one. It is 8:25 am Thursday and no one is in sight. I went out of my way to use this location because of the 8 am open time. Now I'm late for work and my important packages are delayed. read more

Great UPS store, I sometimes have to pickup supplies or Send a package. Everyone is really helpful, and they said I can also Drop off postal mail there which i occasionally do if it isn't something that fits in the mail. If you live in Simi, this is the best UPS store to go to. Convenient, lots of parking, plus the People who work there are Super nice . read more

I moved to the east coast for 1/2 the year for new job. This location was heads above any other in helpfulness, kindness, follow through, etc. I used numerous locations & different companies (FEDEX & USPS) to mail my 30 moving boxes. Friendly husband and wife team with great customer service, reasonable prices and very convenient. I was sending some perfume and didn't package properly, so once I got home and realized I could have done a better job I phoned and spoke to Mark, and he told me not to worry he'll put my perfume in a plastic bag and re-pack for me. I use this location when in town and receive my mail there. The store is super clean and inviting. The new owners are husband and wife- they really got a handle on the business. It's run very smooth and professional and finally got that gate fixed for 24 hour access! Major plus. I couldn't be happier!! read more

Do not.... I repeat do not take your packages here. They lost a very important package of mine. According to three ups represenitives and there claim department my package never left the ups building. I tried resolving the issue but the owner told me it's his business and he can do whatever he wants. I thought ups cared about people and there important packages.... Not this store, in the end the owner tried to make me feel like it was my fault even though my package never left the building.... I hope not all ups stores operate this way!!! read more

I'd love to leave a review, but despite the fact that their sign says they've been open for an hour, no one is here.

Twice, I attempted to drop off a package at this location. It did not open on time in the morning and after 15 minutes I left. A few days later I went in the evening assuming that if they didn't at last open on time in the morning that they would be open in the evening. I was mistaken, with an hour left before the noted closing time, the door was locked and no one working. Ridiculous. Change your business hours if you're not going to be there so people aren't wasting their time. read more

Made an appointment online for fingerprinting and notary, rush to the other end of town to make my appointment time and get my documents in the mail before the collection time, and the guy informs me that I "have the wrong store because (he) never got a call." I show him the confirmation email with this location and appointment time and he goes "oh that's a mistake our notary isn't here right now." So then I ask about their fingerprinting and if they do the paper form not just livescan and he says "no we only do livescan. Nobody does that form anymore." According to the website and the appointment drop down options, they do still use form d-258. I wasted my gas and critical time going here thinking the appointment was a sure thing. Either the information about services offered is incorrect online, or he was just misinformed about the types of fingerprinting his store offered. Either way, I left frustrated and I expected more from UPS. Web presence and accuracy is such a crucial component of a successful business. read more
