So I am super convicted right now and need to ask for forgiveness in hope of avoiding my continuous feeling of breaking my word and promise I made to Ryan after he absolutely crushed it for me 2x during my first two experiences within 2 weeks at a UPS store. Who knew I'd feel so guilty by forgetting the positive Yelp review owed from a month ago. So let me restore my integrity and be worth the wait so I can show my face there again without hearing the GOT Cersei March chant of "SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!" Something tells me I'll need there high end service and low reasonable prices with plenty of value to make doing business with them a no brainer. Here we go. I've always used FedEx for emergency mailing needs simply bc they are plenty of locations and always considered them a higher end option but the price started having me think there has to be a lower price out there. After checking online using my corporate UPS account I was lost and the price seemed unreasonably wrong, can't be this much so I called this location or what I call "phoned a friend." Chris picked up and answered all my questions even giving me advice that wouldn't directly earn his location my business but simply offered the advice that out me first to accomplish my immediate need. We hit it off and I enjoyed our conversation so much I decided to go in anyway to meet this guy cuz I knew I'd be in great hands and that's worth a little extra to me. Well, after arriving I saw Chris busy with a long transaction and although I wanted to wait I was in a rush so I briefly interrupted to say hi and ask for him to have another employee help me with what we discussed. He multitasked like a pro continuing to take care of his new client while explaining to Ryan exactly what I needed. Find out he's the manager and I'm not surprised. Good job UPS for hiring this dude. He's the real deal and I'm going to have to recruit him into my business cuz he's too good not to fight for so take care of him or else. Ryan was very helpful and kind taking care of me to get my out of there at a third if what Fed Ex charges. Surprising I needed to stop by a week later for something outside the box where they went way above and beyond normal business practices helping me avoid additional fees and working within my budget. They've earned this review and my sincere apologies for not sending it sooner but better Kate than never. Chris got me in and him and Ryan will keep me coming back. This is one of the better UPS stores I've been to. The staff was very friendly immediately greeted me as soon as I walked in, there wasn't any long waits and they were able to get my family 2 day shipping even though I came in at closing time. With about 30 minutes left until I needed to be at my interview I arrived at the UPS store and Michael helped me get my resumes printed on nice paper and find a suitable folder for them. New management, new staff, unfortunate outcome. This was a 5 star UPS Store, primarily due to the ease of service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, actual human beings that made shipping easy. Now everything is an upcharge and upsell. Literally won't tape a box, they leave a tape dispenser off to the side. Everytime I walk in I'm asked if I need a passport photo or notary services. During my last two visits, the new manager provided astonishingly high quotes for shipping rates, rather than provide a list of options at different price points. read more
