Uh oh. I thought I wrote a review for this ups store years ago? Been living here for over 5 years. I go to ups every few weeks for Amazon returned and what not. I never thought to myself, "I need to write a yelp review for a ups store??!?" That wasn't until I met Michael, the manager. You can never get a first impression and from the moment I walked in, no matter how busy it was, he always has a positive attitude. He knows you by name. He is caring. He doesn't lie or cheat or try to make you buy something you don't need. He trains his team so his entire team is also amazing. He's so good we purchased a P.O. Box from him. I happened to be in this area when I needed to head to a UPS, so it was by chance that I stumbled on this business. Parking is easy, as this is a large center. As soon as I entered I could tell there is a great community with this UPS store. The staff members were friendly and personable, and knew the regular I was standing behind by name. This should be the UPS model for all other stores in the area. The staff seems upbeat and to genuinely care about each other. Overall, if I find myself close to this area and in need of a UPS, I would make a drive here just to visit this location. The process was seem less and my packages began tracking immediately. read more

If you opened a package from Amazon and didn't love it, simply drop it off here to have it returned. That's it. Received a call from someone representing the UPS store and I tried to explain how the deceptive practices of this location left me with a very bad taste for UPS as a whole. The whole time on the phone the person was trying to justify the up charge stating they they call it a convenance fee, this would be fine if it was printed on the receipt or even told to the customer. The fact that these "convenience fees" are not disclosed and not outlined on the receipt is 100% a deceptive practice and consumers should be aware and do thier own research. read more

Worst service ever, I made an appointment for 12.30 pm on March 19. Showed up for the appointment and I was informed that the Notary is out for lunch and I will have to come back. The UPS rep gave another appointment for 2 pm. I showed at 2 pm and the note at was still not available. Another rep told me that I will have to come back again as the Notary is not available. The Best Service at UPS in Tustin I came to this place for notary service. Joe- he went above and beyond to help me even though I came so late for my appointment from traffic, after calling and asked him if he could wait, he told me to drive safely and he would wait for me. Their time for notary ends at 5pm but he was working on my paper at 6pm, with a great attitude and very professional. His manager-Mike, funny gentlemen, very helpful and sweet, also Ellie, she has a warm and friendly smile the moment I walk in This place does have a great team, that why they can provide the best service with the best attitude. Overall great experience with efficiency and getting what I need to get done done. Appointment time wasn't late - the guy helping me was nice. (Had a tattoo on his right arm - don't rmr the name). The five star isn't there because of the following: The only thing is I feel bad for the workers. The manager Michael makes weird comments about is team in front of customers and basically judges them via humour which I dont think any the customers there found funny but rather were uncomfortable. Based on my observation in facial expression of those coworkers I can tell how frustrated some of the workers are. This is just me speaking based on what I observed - the workers are awesome. I just hope they love working there instead of working their because it's hard to find jobs at the time. I go in there to be nice to the workers specifically considering this. Don't really get how he's a manager. There are two components to being a good manager 1. Making sure customers are taken care of (checked) 2. Making sure your team is happy with where they work (nope) Im only posting this because I know in some work environments - esp small business. Michael & Joe made entire day. I had a hard time with the staff at the park ave ups store. I explained to them what happened over there and immediately Michael & Joe rescued me. A warm welcome for me and everyone that entered the store this evening, very helpful, informative, and fast. Customer service is hard, you have to be nice to people even when people aren't always nice back and going the extra mile for others can sometimes be a burden but you can tell these two go above and beyond to remember peoples names, engage in conversation, and provide a wonderful experience.
