Negative stars! I shipped out a painting that took two years to make for one of my college professors, along with another package for my dad. One was going to New Orleans, the other, a small town in FL. NEITHER package was shipped as promised. I paid for 2 day shipping. They arrived about 5 days later, and the painting that should have gone to FL was sent to New Orleans! Thank god I actually knew the person who received it. I had to pay that person to ship it over to FL. I walked down to the store to explain what happened and a 1800# was shoved in my face. Extremely disappointed with the service received. Its a pleasure going to this UPS Store, the man behind the counter (who was there the 2 times I have gone in on a Saturday) is extremely helpful and nice. I am always clueless when it comes to box size, and shipping costs so its nice to have the cashier take his time in explaining the prices. read more

The person in charge refused to give me a receipts upon drop off. I quote: "if you trust USPS, you should trust us too".

I had to move last year and it was a sudden thing. i had to make arrangements fast so i knew I would be moving again, so I decided it would be a good idea to get a post office box. The US Post Office rents the smallest box for $65 for 6 months. I was going to get one, then i saw this place. I went in and asked what the price was. It's a year ago now i only remember that it was higher that the post office. The man said, "But you get a real street address." What difference this is supposed to make or how this justify's the high price I have no idea. I had just got a quote of $65.00 for 6 months at the Post office. I don't actually remember exactly what price I was quoted. But if they had told me it was $25 per month, or $150 for 6 months I would have just gone to the post office. What am saying is I was lied to and misled as to the price. I remember being surprised when i got an email and a note in the box after 10 weeks saying it was renewal time. I remember being shocked to learn that I had paid for 3 months, and that they wanted another $75 for another 3 months. I had recently had checks printed, so I renewed. But I have since realized that paper checks are obsolete. I shipped a small box once to my girlfriend, and the price was very high. The young mad helping was lazy and lacked skills. Everything people say here is true, I have seen it. You pay double for lazy, reluctant service with a good bit of piss thrown in. I was told the $75 initial payment was for 6 months. I was lied to. They also charged me an extra $65 or $70. "One time fee" for nothing. I'm up on November 5. Guess what. I am going to the Post Office this time. The people there are cheerful and helpful. Unlike the dishonest mopes at this place. Good riddance. Steer clear, believe me. Was anyone else charged the extra $75? I wonder if I'm the only one? Anyone else? What these people do is pretty close to outright fraud. read more

I would love to say I had a positive experience with this store- but unfortunately, when I called this morning to ask a simple question and then had a follow-up question, the man on the phone intentionally hung up on me. Customer service? I think not. I can ship a package anywhere- it would really behoove them to at least pretend they care about their customers. read more

Terrible. I called with a question and the man who answered cut me off in the middle of my sentences repeatedly, said "Goodbye" and then hung up on me. I never got to ask my full question but am certainly not going to call again or actually go there. read more

I had a great experience at this store, staff is friendly, honest and helpful. I want to apologize for calling them so many times thinking their ups but it's a small franchise that works with ups. The lady who works here gave me some serious attitude for not taping my box. Every other location I have visited never gives me a problem with tape. I was not offered a receipt and when I returned a few minutes later to ask for the receipt, she laughed and said "I guess I can do that for you". No thanks for the attitude. I will use other locations from now on. read more

while the store was very organized and clean, the service was not good. the store charges $4 to access the computer to print labels, which is an absurd fee, then you are still charged the $4 to email a label to them and have them print. the team is also fairly slow moving and tries to oversell on all products. for example, we had already taped our box and the woman criticized our tape and said it was not good quality and we should have bought from their store instead. read more

My package was either not left at the door or stolen because the driver did not ring the bell. When I called to ask about the "missing" package and the fact that the driver did not ring the bell (the first time when he just left the slip and then the package itself a few days later), Laura (who said she was the supervisor and that she did not have a boss) said that there was nothing she could do about it and that I needed to take up the issue with the company I bought the products from. I was treated rudely and the fact that the driver did not ring the bell was neither acknowledged nor made right. Big thumbs down for UPS Watertown, and for Laura inparticular. read more

Horrible customer service. I called last week and was cut off by a woman who answered the phone, then hung up on. On a call back, the man (Shawn) who answered the phone was not only argumentative (I was only asking to be transferred to Watertown UPS) but after I asked him his name, said "Why don't you just get lost?" and hung up on me again. Terrible place.I would have given zero stars to this place if it were possible. I went there to drop off an amazon return today. I put the box on the counter and I was clearly ignored by the elderly gentleman and the younger woman working here. They kept doing other things and did not even say a word. Then I finally asked if they have tape so I can tape my return slip to the box. The lady said they charge $2 for using their tape or I can just purchase a tape. I have always used the ups on Arlington st and they kindly taped the boxes themselves even I say a thing. This place also charged me couple weeks ago for $4 for using their computer for less than 5 minutes to print out 2 pages. I will never ever go back there. If they do not want to accept ups returns then they should stop being a ups center. read more

This store should receive negative five stars. They have terrible customer service. I dropped an envelope off on Saturday 24 to be delivered next day. Paid the $45.96. "Sean" the manager input the shipping info and informed me I just missed the 3:00 pick up so delivery would be Tuesday by noon. When the package didn't arrive I tracked it and it was in east boston. It never left Main Street at all until it was too late and the storm hit. Ups said the franchise should reimburse me. I called "sean" he became very combative and verbally insulting. To add insult to injury when he input the address info he got the address wrong. Now it's the 30th and still no delivery. Sean's response was I could sue him if I want. this review is not against the store per se, it is a warning against ups in general.... ups tracking number-1z40333f6658339629 re: ups issues- monday shipment for delivery thursday, feb 12 (two days before valentine's day) if you look at my online chat with fredy s. in customer service, please do not be surprised by my online recounting of experiences with your company, and ups express in particular. i have received eight packages from throughout the country shipped on thursday and friday, delivered friday and saturday, by usps and fed-ex. yet your company's inability to deliver a package 5 miles over a three day period, even though the weather was fine, and the constant lies of when it would be delivered....they did not deliver a perishable package, which i talked to them at length about, and made my 70 year old parents spend two days at home waiting for a package that they promised would be delivered, but was not. they missed valentines day and her birthday....there was no "adverse weather" as claimed, on thursday a.m. it was in watertown, ma..the town next to cambridge (delivery address)...5 miles away. friday and saturday was clear and sunny, with no snowfall to clean up. usps and fed-ex delivered packages from california, n.m. and florida, some sent friday afternoon, and delivered by noon on saturday!!!
