Even during a busy time, they kept things moving efficiently while still being attentive to each customer. A great location in Platt Vllage West Hills. They always in a friendly manner, even if busy with another customer say hello. Any thing you need , shipping , shredding, copies, purchase office products, Faxing.There is even as you enter the store a slot on the wall for letters to send off. I have been going there for years and they professionally, pleasantly, helpfully take care of whatever service you need. I came to shred papers. Had to get bankers boxes that I'm told hold 50lbs easy. They hold 20 lbs at the most. 2 boxes turned into 6 boxes, I'm not sure ,but there seems to a weight discrepancy, that means I carried 300 lbs of paper in 2 runs to the car. I'm strong, but not quite that strong. And how about that employees helping me out, flinging those 5o lbs boxes like they were kleenex. There is a scale for people to use, 20lbs each ! read more

I just left the UPS store and I have to tell you I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the kid that was helping me. He was rude, had the personality of a gnat, and acted like I was inconveniencing him. When I asked if he could throw away my Amazon box, he said no, we don't take boxes in a tone that was beyond rude and like I should have known this already. I do NOT recommend this location at ALL!! This is my go to UPS store not only because it's close by, but I've never had to wait too long when coming here. I do feel that when they were at the old location, there were more registers open for them to assist if the line gets long. Also, it was right next to Starbucks and Nothing but Bundt cakes. Now they are a few stores down and in a bigger location that's more open and you can see the staff at work. The new location only has 3 registers, which I think is backwards from the other location. Being this far down, parking is a little easier because you don't have to fight with the Pavillions, Starbucks and Bundt Cakes patrons. read more

The new store is cleaner, organized spacious and uncluttered. This is so very important to me as a customer. The store should always be maintained for cleanliness and not dirty. I despise seeing dust just because it's a UPS store. They must always wipe down surfaces and avoid clutter at all cost. The staff works very diligently to not waste time and keep the lines moving along speedily. I appreciate that. This five star review is also for Beth, who was very kind to accommodate my package that needed an additional item added by my own mistake on a last minute basis (at store closing time). Friendly, fast, and convenient service. Located in the Platt Plaza between Platt and Victory Blvd in West Hills. Highly recommend if you have UPS drop-offs. There's a closer location from my place located on Ventura Blvd near DeSoto Ave. However, the Platt location has tons of convenient free parking and there was at least 4 staff members ready to help. Sadly the other location only has street metered parking and 9.5 times out of 10, they are occupied, so parking is a downer whether you have a small or large package, but definitely not convenient and not fast since you have to spend time finding parking. This location has usually provided great service - however I don't know if they are under new management. I made an online appointment for Notary Services (something which I had done before at this location, when it was a few doors down) and received a reminder through email. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that the notary wouldn't arrive until later, maybe in an hour and that "we don't use online". I was told to come back or go to another location (in the friendliest and sympathetic way possible, which is why I didn't just leave 1 star). It's a bit frustrating and wanted to let anyone know if you make an appointment for a service here - there's no guarantee it will actually happen and the time you schedule it! read more

Went to the store on July 26th to have a certified letter mailed out. Got home on July 28th to find the letter in my mailbox at home ..... POSTAGE DUE! Because there was no postage put on the envelope before it was sent out! Had to go back to the store FOR A SECOND TIME and the manager said "It looks like we didn't put postage on the envelope. Not a problem. We can fix that." I'm sure you can!! But it took me two trips to the store and lost 4 days of mail time!! To me that's a problem. No apology for the error and just a "here's your receipt, you're done". My recommendation is that you need to double check whatever you're sending to make sure it can be done in one trip. read more

It is hit and miss here for good customer service. Management tends to be a bit short and abrasive. If you read the Terms and Conditions of the PO Box contract, you will see they want you to give up the right to do a change of address with USPS for six months after you notify them to terminate the PO Box service. Section 6 of the Service Agreement: "Customer agrees that upon expiration, cancellation, or termination of this Agreement, Customer will not file a change of address order with the post office. Customer and Center further agree that upon expiration, cancellation, or termination of this Agreement, Customer authorizes Center to accept and destroy any "Unsolicited Mail" (e.g., mail addressed to "occupant," "current resident," or similar designation; or coupons, advertising, or other promotional material) and any mail addressed to Customer that is delivered to Center by the United States Postal Service for six (6) months; and may refuse any package addressed to Customer delivered by any party other than the United States Postal Service, such as a commercial carrier service." I suggest NOT getting a PO Box here. There are too many other less expensive options in the WH area, and also, without the overly restrictive service agreement. read more

This UPS store delayed my return many times. I got my refund after 3 weeks whereas at other locations, one gets the refund either immediately or within a day. I only went there since I was in the area but that was a huge mistake. Whenever I go there, the manager personally wants to handle my return to make sure I do not get my refund fast. I had to ship something to my mom yesterday & didn't want to deal with the post office. Then I remembered this UPS store on Platt. It was about 10 AM & there wasn't really a wait. I picked out my padded mailer & got in line. About 30 seconds later I was called up. The person who served me was helpful & friendly. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. I don't know how the prices compare to FedEx or USPS but for the small padded envelope with a light item, it seemed at little pricey but it was convenient and she did give me a little discount which I appreciated. read more
