I am a fan! This is a cute Wine store with huge upstairs and downstairs. They have 3 flatbread options, 2 charcuterie boards and a soup option for food. They have about 30 bottles to choose from, and you can pick them up to-go in the the front store area as well as some cute knick knacks and some award winning honey. The server was wonderful! She helped our huge party of 9 people as we enjoyed 2 wine bottles and various wine by the glass and beer. I do want to mentioned I'd wish they had MORE beer options, especially local beer for to-go. I was hoping to pick up something for my bf on our girls trip. The interior looked like a inside looking in french style bistro with a exterior porch overhand trimming the serving area and kitchen leading towards the restrooms. I would also suggest possibly expanding the bathrooms as there was 1 for women and 1 for men with a huge dinning area. I picked up two honey (Wildflower and Clover flavor raw) a port and a wine to-go. Overall I am a fan of this cute place.

I love this spot . For East coast city folks to come to a small town like luray and find a place for late dinner ... this spot was great..... Wines were soo very well curated as well as the cheese. I'm still trying to find where I can get rosemary manchego. If you don't get to do wine tastings in the regional wineries nearby, this spot is definitely great to try the local wines. Also I will say I love that when I go out for dinner at 9 pm ish this place wasn't very busy. I think luray people don't stay out very late , but I will say they are missing out. This spot is a gem because we arrived around 9:30ish and ordered 1 cheese plate and 3 flatbread and dessert ;and we were out by 9:55pm. So quick . Also the dessert bonbons... sooo good !!!

Stopped here for dinner after a hike in Shenandoah. The food comes in generous portions that are great for sharing and is very affordable. They have a lot of wine options, including local VA wines. It is definitely more of a wine bar than restaurant - while the food is good it seems to be mostly from the store and not fully prepared in house. Would recommend!

Very disappointed the pretzels came with NACHO cheese. The hummus came with onion garlic crackers. And the charcuterie board came with slim Jim's.

Quickly stopped at Valley Cork for wine and appetizers after visiting the Luray Caverns! In what appeared to be a really small town with that singular tourist attraction, this was a gem of a find!! Although I remember the food menu being fairly limited, we loved their wine options and the lite bites we had! Also the staff was super friendly and the space had a great vibe! Would definitely one back and recommend to others.

This rustic-chic place is large, but not noisy with plenty of space. Expansive wine menu and artisanal small plates make this wine bar super-special. Chris was a fantastic host! Wish we didn't live so far away!

I recently visited the wine bar while staying in Luray. This is a nice place to stop for a lite bite and a glass of wine. There were plenty of wine choices and some cider options. The staff were friendly and attentive. I stopped for a lite dinner. I chose salad and one of the charcuterie plates. It was a perfect dinner!

Didn't think they were open since current site / Instagram said they closed? Anyways, so glad they were open because we LOVED it. Love going to get tapas, and was surprised to find one this delicious. Also got delicious wine, cider and flatbread and all of it was so good. After a week of hiking, this hit the spot. Very cool atmosphere.

So glad this spot has re-opened and not just as a wine bar but a full-service restaurant. We've been three times since it's gone under new management and we are so pleased with the service, the quality of the food, and the whole atmosphere of the place. The pasta special this weekendWas delicious, the price was exactly on point, and the portions were huge. Keep up the great work, we will be back again! Many thanks.

We visited The Valley Cork after a long day on the river, and we were all ready for some good food, and some drinks too. This place far exceeded expectations! Very affordable for excellent food that is fresh, tasty, and comes in very shareable portions. Also, a drink list that has something for everyone (highly recommend the mead flight!). We are so happy to have found a place we will make a tradition on our trips to Luray.

It was meh... the food was mediocre and over priced. Wasn't impressed, wine and beer was okay, but again over priced.

But when we passed this restaurant it stood out from the rest of the town we had to pull over to stop in! From the front porch to the backyard and everything in between we could see it was inspired by Virginia's alluring nature. From the nature sounds in the bathroom to the monstera leaf themed wallpaper it very much had its own significant charm! We were honored by a visit from the owner (Tony), the chef(Mat) and even the head leader (Jennifer) they are a GREAT TEAM! We could tell talking to them they all felt passionate about what they do. I even noticed the owner looking at the POS system going through every table to make sure he had personally thanked everyone for coming in. Me and my husband got the course for 2 but added on the pork belly. The course included a salad for each of us and a main course but had to share a dessert. Which I found to be the only disappointment considering the price and no note saying it was a shared dessert in the menu. We each had 3 cocktails and a glass of wine. My husband said his first drink was probably one of the best drinks he's ever had and we have lived all over the US. The courses were timed perfect for us. However we wanted fresh silverware to eat our dessert and we waited almost 10mins for them. Our sever was very nice and attentive even our glasses were never emptied thanks to all the other helping staff!

The staff were absolutely amazing and I have no complaints whatsoever. The food was good. The only complaint I have is that the Eggs Bennys only came with one egg? I used to brunch so much in NYC and I don't think I've ever been hit with a one Benny plate - and definitely not at the prices they were charging here. I almost wished they would charge a little more and give me two!

I had just come from a hair appointment down the street and on my way back to my car, I noticed Sangria advertised on the mini sandwich board outside. I'm a HUGE fan of a glass of fruity Sangria on a hot day! The fact that it was Happy Hour with $5 glasses made it even easier to draw me inside!! When I explained this was my first visit, they explained the Curio concept, the various areas for sitting, sipping and gathering as well as the Curio Card process. They even had a small but really intriguing menu of various snacks, from charcuterie to flatbread and even dessert. The menu changes a couple times a month, making me want to plan more visits! The staff offered me sips of each so I could decide on a Sangria flavor. Despite not being a Moscato fan, I chose the Moscato Mule Sangria. It was light, refreshing and had the Moscow Mule flavors with the added sweetness of Moscato wine. I wandered into the cellar to explore more wine offerings and wound up running into fellow educators and their friends I had never met. We chatted like we were catching up and laughed about shared birthdays and teaching!! They invited me to hang with them, but I had to get home for Dog Mom Duty. We exchanged numbers so we could plan another "run-in" downtown SOON! If you haven't visited Curio, I HIGHLY recommend it. Bring a friend, or plan on making a few. Next time, I'll be ordering food with my wine and lingering much longer! Thanks for a great end to my week. See y'all soon! Cheers!

There are so many options in this lovely town but I made a reservation at Zynodoa because I have been on a farm-to-table kick lately. The servers and hosts were all lovely, interacting with both the guests and each other professionally and amicably. My server Sarah gave me as much attention as anyone else, even though I was the only person dining alone. I ordered the tomato and burrata appetizer. I am not a big raw tomato eater but I knew if these were truly farm-to-table, they would taste good, and they did. The flavor felt like a combination of sunshine and a warm hug! The cheese tasted like a sweet kiss. The portion was substantial, and there was balsamic reduction and a generous amount of coarse pesto. I ate the whole thing! For the main course I ordered the flat iron steak. Because I was traveling and didn't want leftovers, I asked the server for a smaller portion than listed, but either I wasn't clear or it wasn't an option--It's okay, though. I ordered the steak medium rare but it was a shade above rare; again, okay. Sides were good but I added salt. The meal was a bit pricey but probably fair given that it was sourced locally. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the chef is heavy handed on the sauces, which may not be everyone's cup of tea. Oh, I ordered the pinot noir and it was good, smooth, balanced. Overall impression of Zynodoa was it felt like visiting the home of a friend with a garden who loves to cook and share with her friends. The portions were generous and the seasoning was substantial. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Staunton.

The cocktail and mocktails were flavorful and well priced. Our waiter was great. Very knowledgeable about the menu, town and ingredients. We started with the Chicken Liver pate. This was well prepared, although I hate when a restaurant provides an odd number of toasts for two people. We asked for an extra piece and thought it was funny that they gave us exactly one. FYI- it comes with several accoutrements which were tasty, but the mustard was really the most satisfying. My wife had the brisket, which I would call a must have. Fantastic Asian spices, fried rice ball and Kimchi. Just an explosion of flavors. I was glad she shared. (This is uncommon) I had the pork chop and it was really pretty. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor and I had to carve off the fat which made up about 1/3rd of the chop. The bone was the other third...so it turned out to be a thick but modest cut. That said, it was on a lovely bed of mash and some of the best blue and white carrots I ever had. We finished with the carrot cake. (All of the desserts are made onsite.) which we learned was gluten free. Honestly if it was marked GF I wouldn't have ordered it. Anyway, when it arrived I thought we received the wrong thing. It looked like a decorative cliff bar. Once we took a bite we were blown away by the flavors and texture. It was delicious. Such a great experience. We were near the kitchen, so we got to see the head chef get orders out. There were some highs and lows, but the overall experience was really nice.
