The person assigned to assist me (I don't recall names/faces well) put the new segment/seemless/clicker ring in the lower lobe/1st instead of the upper/2nd lobe spot. I don't now how they missed the 2nd lobe because I had a light blue plastic place holder in the 2nd lobe so it wouldn't close up, we talked about it to confirm which one it was, and they saw me take the blue plastic out. Yes, I should have asked for a mirror once they finished to confirm they did it correctly but I trusted they knew what they were doing. I didn't notice, my friend pointed it out a bit after I left the shop, my friend moved it into the correct spot for me. Customer service was normal when I first went in but I didn't feel like driving back, finding parking, and blah blah blah over this. Think this was the breakdown, they didn't provide a receipt and I paid cash. Cost was $30 for the sterilized segment ring, $5 for the service, and I gave a $5 tip.

I went here because I lost my nose ring. I did not realize you needed an appointment beforehand just to purchase jewelry. When the woman came to the door I was informed of the requirement and told she couldn't help me because she was with another customer. At no time did she offer to make an appointment for me or say that I could call to make an appointment later. I don't know if I'm being too sensitive, but I actually feel like it was racial that I wasn't offered any options. I absolutely will not ever in my life come to this establishment for anything. Give yourself 30-40 mins minimum to find a spot!! Store - it's located at the edge of the main Abbott Kinney rows of stores. Clean, bright, lots of employees helping customers. It's Valentine's Day so it's busy busy! Piercing Studio - Marley was FANTASTIC! I was late to my appt by an hour - traffic horrific & parking horrendous. However, Marley gave up her lunch break to accommodate me. She explained clearly what she was going to do at this follow-up. It was to replace the flat back to a shorter one since it's healing well. The process was smooth and fast, he confirmed the spots before I get pierced. I chose Studs because they offer flat-back screw for their earrings and use piercing needles manually instead of a piercing device. So the healing is better comparing to using a piercing gun. This place is definitely on the pricey side, especially their jewelries. I personally wouldn't get my jewellery here, I'm just here for the piercing and got a titanium stud for now. After giving it a check out, he told me not to remove it, why, and how to save it. Three days later, it's feeling so much better! He was really professional, polite, ad knowledgeable. He said that he'll order it in my size. I told him, If not I'll take the extra large whatever it doesn't matter. But what he did. It was take over $100 from me and never gave me my jacket and when I went to go ask for my jacket, they acted like they didn't even know who I was and that's not including the tip that I gave him because I gave him a pretty nice tip. I even have a bank statement I can pull up!
