This is a good affordable place to stay. You get a big room and huge bed for the price . They make up the bed daily which is nice. I stayed here during a breathwork retreat. I wish they had a better coffee maker and better water pressure but the water did get hot enough. But I would stay again . I booked this stay due to my budget for an overnight trip to Sedona. Room is clean, walls and ceiling are thin. The heater/air conditioner is old and it took some time to get the temperature comfortable. I was really looking forward to staying here. It started off well until I felt dismissed by Paresh. He seemed a bit dismissive towards me and only paid attention to my boyfriend. He asked a question about "the airport" and I didn't quite understand so I asked if he is asking if we came from the airport (my boyfriend was pre-occupied with checking us in), Paresh looks right at me and snaps back with "I'm asking him, not you." Had we not drove more than 6 hours and needed a place to stay at late hour, I would have had many undesirable words for this misogynistic individual. This isn't about feminism, but mere respect and courtesy for another human, more specifically your customer. Common courtesy and kindness is not difficult to provide. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The property was okay but the men that worked the front desk were beyond rude and so unkind. They also literally lock up everything and you have to ask the rude men to use the laundry, the pool all while they're mean mugging you. They're also not dog friendly which is surprising for Sedona where everywhere is usually dog friendly. The most terrible experience I've ever had at a hotel, especially for my wedding weekend. My husband was working in Sedona so my son and I drove up from Phoenix for the weekend. Property is easy to find, located within walking distance of several very good dining options and a short drive to the touristy area of uptown Sedona. Check in was quick and easy. Both gentlemen at the desk were pleasant and accommodating. You can definitely tell the property is older but well taken care of. Not much in the way of amenities except the small pool and spa. Ice machine and laundry on the first floor. A Circle K market and tourist center across the street. Now the room. We had a corner 2nd floor unit, 2 queen beds. Room was equipped with a small microwave, a mini fridge (that didn't get cold enough) and the one cup coffee brew system! I must say this was probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Sheets crisp white, toilet, shower and sinks sparkling. Carpet clean and not worn. The only thing I didn't like was the pinesol smell. Free breakfast in the mornings, which we didn't partake. Overall this was a quick enjoyable stay that half the cost of other rooms in the area. I would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. read more

There is no insulation so you get to hear the footsteps on the 2nd fl. You get to hear the TV from your neighbors room. Unfortunately we had some inconsiderate people next-door who kept us up until 3:00 am, the a/c is a loud unit so this was the only time we wouldn't hear the guests next door. My question to mgmt is why do you book rooms next to each other when there are vacancies? You can spread us out to avoid these unpleasant situations . Sedona, Arizona is a spectacular place to visit. Every out-of-state visitor ought to be touring Sedona. The hotel accommodations, too, are mostly spectacular.... And expensive. Lucky for us, we found The Views Inn. Family owned, the hotel has been in business for 18 years. It is small, simple, immaculate, and sufficient. We called at the last minute and found a room. We were welcomed by the owner who was charming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and simply furnished. It's well located - across from the Oak Creek Country Club (If you're a golfer, you must play this course. It's got a nice driving range, too.); near good restaurants; near lots of hiking trails; the pool is sparkling with views of the spires of mountains. The night manager was very gracious and accommodating to our needs. And guess what... the price was very reasonable! I gave this little hotel/motel 5 stars because it checks all the boxes: clean, well located, friendly staff, well priced. It's not extravagant, but it's a great choice. read more

The good: sure a clean hotel. The Bad: if you will be staying on the first floor be prepared to hear the foot steps from the second floor. On check in we asked if we can stay on the second floor. The reception mentioned that all rooms on the second floor are booked. Requested if we can be moved to second level when there's available since we will be staying here for whole week! He said he will put the request on the manager. Today. I got a call from the manager saying that they cannot move us because we booked a standard room and the only way for us to be moved is if we cancel the reservation to the third party booking site and book with them. Informed them that our reservation comes with the car and we cannot do that. She mentioned that third party reservation cost them 20% of the entire rate of stay. To make this short. They are not willing to accommodate you because we booked on a third party reservation even we stayed here. They want to cancel the reservation to priceline and re book to them and give us the same rate. For what? To get the whole rate and not pay the 20% to priceline? I forgot to mention that we booked a a queen bed and for some reason they said we only have 2 guest listed. We are party of 4 with our kids which we ended paying 25$ more Per night because they said. We only booked for "2 people". This is the first time we encountered this. Managers and staff not willing to accommodate you because of the 20% charge of priceline. Definitely disappointed! Update: we cancelled our reservation through priceline but we did not rebook directly to them. These people only care for making money than how the people will feel about their stay. Very nice hotel, kinda small. I not fond of the refrigerator? It's on but no ice tray so the water that needs to be cold takes a day to get little cold. But the rooms are clean, the place is clean. They told me that there is an additional charge of $75.00 for a deposit, but I hoping after reading the other reviews I get it back. The rooms are clean. The bees are a bit stiff (not like the Fairfield in where I fell asleep very fast). I could not get cable access, it only has like 10 channels. It was recommended by someone I knew on Facebook. Hidden fees, watch out! On the evening of May 15, 2020 at about 10 o'clock I went to check in to my room and was told by the desk clerk that I was going to be charged $40 extra for having two people I told the desk clerk that I was unaware of that and it didn't seem fair that I would be charged extra money especially because we had two queen size beds The clerk then quoted some hotel policy as to why it was OK to charge me extra money above what was agreed upon online I told him that I would like to speak to his manager the desk clerk refused to give me his managers name I asked for his name and he refused to give me his name either I'm not exactly sure what to do at this point because if I cancel now I will lose my online deposit I would highly suggest if you don't want to have a negative experience Booking a room just don't stay here, there are plenty of hotels for the same price or cheaper in Oak Creek and Sedona the worst part about this is the feeling of being taken advantage of while I'm vacation. I spent a long time looking for affordable hotel/motel rooms in Sedona, and was thrilled to find The Views Inn. While the hotel isn't brand-new or flashy, the room was extremely comfortable. The mattress was outstanding, our room on the second floor was very quiet, the room was scrupulously clean, and the manager bent over backwards to make sure all of our needs were met. The view of Sedona's majestic rocks literally outside our door was absolutely stunning, and being in the Village of Oak Tree meant that we were only a five-minute drive to the parking lot for our hike this morning. And, later, with tired legs, I sat outside by the pool and read my book. We were also very close to a grocery store and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. I stayed here about a month ago for about 3 nights. The rooms are clean and look as they have been re-modeled. It's not fancy, but gets your needs met for a budget motel (considering it's still about $200/night). The staff were friendly & courteous. There didn't seem to be an included breakfast as other Yelpers had mentioned, but it did have a small pool and jacuzzi. It's on the corner across the street from a gas station where you can fill up on water and snacks and also across from restaurants, etc. It's a relatively good spot to drive to hikes such as Cathedral Rock & downtown Sedona (about 10-15 minutes) and about a mile to Bell Rock. We had a good night sleep during our stay. Granted the blanket could have been higher quality, but considering it's a budget hotel- not bad. So, most importantly, it's a CLEAN place to stay, nice staff, and good distance to hikes, downtown. Would stay here again if I'm traveling on budget. read more

Pros: - good location (Big Park, AZ), closer to many hiking trails if you compare it to hotels in Sedona (about 8 miles from Sedona) - clean - across the street from a small shopping center - many items to chose from at breakfast - big rooms with fridge, microwave, efficient and clean heaters - compared to hotels of the same caliber in Sedona, quite cheap Cons: - had a bit of a problem with room service (found strange hairs in freshly changed towels and 2 days out of 5 room service thought we didn't deserve shampoo and conditioner). It is true, the first day I didn't leave a tip since I usually leave a larger sum at the end of my rather long stay. The next day, seeing that I didn't get shampoo, I started leaving tips and the shampoo reappeared as by miracle. I would have left a larger tip if it weren't for this "now you see it, now you don't" game. - I would have preferred to keep my towels and reuse them but they do not offer this eco-conscious/money-saving option here. - very spotty to no WiFi reception - if you come to this area for shopping and not for hiking/nature, Big Park is considered a "commuter-city" by some, therefore may prove not cool enough for the more urban/glamorous types ;-) read more

We stayed for 2 days and they were greeting us by our names as we would return to the room to freshen up. Best deal in Sedona area bar none! Located in the Oak Creek village area, west Sedona. Arrived on a Friday at 3PM. We were able to secure A room with a view of Bell Rock, one of the "vortex" monuments. The access road for a short hike to these areas are less then one mile away. It's only 10 minutes from the "uptown" area. The hotel has a small pool and jacuzzi The room is large. Fireplace, tub jacuzzi, microwave. Refrigerator, and double sinks. The room was super clean and nicely decorated. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. They recommended a great Italian restaurant, Cucina Rustico, 10 minute walk , that was one of the best we have ever dined at. All this for $160. Anything comparable is twice the price. read more

WARNING: those of you with ESAs, DO NOT BOTHER BOOKING HERE! You will be turned away and not even suggested other places. We were not allowed here because my dog is not a "service animal", even though he is a certified "Emotional Support Animal". He suffers from severe Separation Anxiety, and because we were attending a family member's wedding, there was no one to stay at home with him and is worse in unknown environments; I do not leave him in kennels. So, I had to take him (ESA vest and letter in hand). Upon, checking-in, I notified the person at the front desk that I had my ESA dog. He told me that because he is not a service animal, he was not allowed. I informed him of the situation, as well as the fact that I have traveled with him before, and have never had a problem with him being allowed at any other place (including restaurants and other hotels that are not "pet friendly"). To which, he answered, "We do not accept animals that make YOU feel good. It's policy". I could have made a scene, but rather decided to take my business elsewhere, which luckily I found the Sedona Rouge (a bit more expensive but worth every penny)! They even waived the "pet fee" because they noticed my dog was an ESA and not simply a pet! So, for those of you with ESAs, DO NOT BOTHER COMING HERE! (Since I arrived shortly after office hours). The room was clean, nice and had a great view. The breakfast isn't too fancy - no pancakes and waffles but it's enough to get you through the morning. I booked a 99.00 per night for two person from booking.com but when I checked-in the owner charged me 180.74 because I have my 11 yrs old kid with me which makes it to 3 persons. I told him I don't need an extra bed, blanket, pillow or anything extra, besides it is just for one night as we were heading to GrandCanyon the following day. The owner told me it is a fire department policy. Really??? On that trip I booked 3 different hotels and the Views Inn is the only one charged me more for having 3 person in the room. We always bring a sleeping bag for my kid to use if the room does not included a sofa. When I checked out they gave me a 20.00 buck credit as they have noticed that I was not happy at all. They still overcharged me 60.00 more than the amount I originally booked. This is the reason for a one star. read more

Owner warmly greeted us upon entry. We booked for two and the owner asked who else was in our group. We ended up being charged for the third person. As for the room, one lightbulb was completely broken. Internet was slow. The heating was inadequate, it took a long time to heat the room, and the heater was outdated. Breakfast was poor quality. The wife stood like a soldier monitoring everyone from her seat. They served bananas, cold refrigerated boiled eggs, cold refrigerated bagels and cheap yogurts with preservatives and food coloring. So, if you are looking for a deal thinking that the "breakfast included" option is worth the extra cost, if you wouldn't eat the breakfast above, there is no point to pay extra to eat it. I remember on one of the days we had to order breakfast from one of the local restaurants. Overall, a little pricey for the quality (130-140 with taxes) during the Thanksgiving week in 2019; room is not worth more than 100-110. read more

Perfect little hotel in a great location. This hotel is nestled in the valley of Sedona walking distance to restaurants and shops. I loved waking up and walking across the street to the coffee shops in the morning to get our morning coffee. Even though this place is right off the main road it was so quiet at night since places close early in this town. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Their complementary breakfast is simple and perfect especially if you are on the go and wanting to go hiking all day. You don't want to over stuff yourself so yogurt and hard boiled eggs were a perfect breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean. Your normal hotel room, small frig, coffee maker and wifi. However when I tried using my computer and connected to wifi it didn't seem to work. Maybe just too many people on wifi with their phones. If I come back to Sedona I would stay here again. read more

The location is awesome. When I stayed here over night, I thought it was great. However, I returned for three nights. I have realized they are running this cheaply and it feels like no real service exists here. They clean the room, but even when tipped the idea of shampoo and conditioner being replaced is crazy talk. They couldn't spare 50 cents of products after charging me $150/night?! They CHARGED me $75 for incidentals when checked in. This is not a hold according to the credit card online statement! The free breakfast is bagels, toast, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and instant oatmeal. And there is a guard in the small room with you! They put out six to twelve bagels at a time. Really?! How did they know I planned to pay for my stay by reselling the bagels?! And those mini cinnamon rolls left in your room get thrown out. The rooms are good. The views can be really nice. The business is run pound wise, but penny foolish. I don't plan on a third trip here. Definitely, stay for one night only! They will put soap out for the next person tomorrow, but not you tomorrow. read more
