As of late I have not been able to get a good bacon, egg and cheese on a roll. First time here and I must say it was quite tasty, the coffee not so much but DD is right next door. This was place was great until they remodelled the place and change the order process. The guy making the sandwiches would take the order, now they have an evil witch that works behind the counter. This woman is devoid any empathy or affection. I truly don't think she has a soul. When I got to the front of the line the witch starts counting money, ignoring me, and never acknowledges me I swear I think she was being deliberately passive aggressive. Finally the witch acknowledges my presence I ask about my order and she says I have to wait. I called an order 30 minutes ahead of time and when I got there it wasn't ready. It appears they haven't even started to make the sandwich. I told the witch that I was late for work and there was no empathy, understanding or an apology. Her eyes are lifeless. This place was a great find. All the food is prepared from scratch and it isn't greasy or too salty. The inside is bright, clean, and very well maintained. I usually go with bacon and eggs for breakfast and one of the hot daily specials for lunch. Soup was great as well! I'll be going back soon. read more

I decided to come here because I wanted good food for a relatively in expensive price. With all of the raving reviews, I though that's what I was going to get. I ordered the steak and eggs. Bottom line? No flavor. Also, the stake was shaved beef, and I was expecting, I don't know, steak maybe? Really was very disappointed . I ordered a salad that sounded good with turkey, cranberries, goat cheese and what I got where some cold cut turkey slices sliced up into cubes on a paper plate!!!! For $9.95 I expect a real plate. IT was bad and the people who serve are not very inviting either. Will definitely not revisit this spot. My Mom ordered a Turkey club and that's exactly what she got with absolutely nothing.. usually you get a small cup of cole slaw or a bag of chips or at the very least a pickle.. this place was the pits- visit other sandwich shops and you will see what it's supposed to look like. read more

Although I have never been to the actually restaurant itself, I love their food! It appeared as an option on Uber eats one day so I tried an omelette, delicious! I have eaten here a bunch of times and let me tell you I have never once been disappointed. My 2 favorite sandwiches here are the "Taste of Italy" which has a beautiful combination of flavors that dance on your tastebuds like the beast twirling Belle across the great ballroom, the other being "The Frank Sinatra" which even old blue eyes would have to do a send take on this one. The Table combines great quality food at even greater prices. It's not uncommon to spend upwards of $15+ for lunch and puns the stamford area but with all of the sandwiches here at about $9 or less you more than get your monies worth. With that combination of price and quality you will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least give them a try. read more

A great option for a quick, casual breakfast or lunch. This is an order at the counter and seat yourself. The prices are very reasonable for the area as well (however, be careful there are upcharges for things such as wraps, egg whites, etc). The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic and they have some fun and different menu selections, including cones in the sandwiches and other fun inclusions. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Very annoyed with the customer service. Owner is always on her phone and not aware of the annoyed customers waiting to place order and i have seen her scream at her employees (which i consider absolutely unnecessary and disrespectful). Weekends are even worse because the employees are fooling around all the time. Always messing up my orders. After 3 tries, ive decided ill never come back. This place is going downhill. i mean, food is overpriced .. the least the employees can do is give great customer service and get the order right. Disappointing. read more

One of the few places open at 6AM that isn't a diner in Stamford. Breakfast omelette's are hearty, burrito is wonderfully cheesy and the shrimp tacos were so flavorful that we got a second order. If you're from the town, you'll recognize The Black Knight and The Crusader sandwiches--looking forward to trying on my next visit. Owner is very accommodating! Their wraps and sandwiches are amazing. Especially the ones with cones and their honey mustard sauce. Surprisingly also really good selection of sodas and other bottled/canned drinks. Owner is very friendly and ensures that guests are treated right. A good place to come on lunch break, if you're not on a time crunch -- it doesn't get really busy around lunch time especially during nice weather, plus they get a lot of calls for takeout that they are balancing to prepare in addition to the guests in line. I love the food at this place. It has such a homey feeling that I enjoy going to. I order from them a lot during lunch time when at work and my regular is to get the orchard salad which is delicious. However lately, the balsamic dressing has been super watery and been kind of ruining the salad. Not sure why it changed but wish it would go back to the original recipe of balsamic. Haven't ordered from them in a while since. Don't change your recipes! Or your dressings! read more

I wandered in today at lunch in search of 'decent soup' in Springdale, and haven't been in that location since it was 'Kim's Kitchen' a few yrs back. What a truly great place! Really cool seating area, and the food is wonderful. We eat here as often as we can get there, minimum once monthly. It's not a large restaurant, but their menu is large, and the cooking and meal preparation are excellent. The gal who takes orders is the best in the business, and everyone is friendly as well. I can't say enough positive things about this place. We eat in, but I see that many customers take out. Interesting to read the 5 star reviews of The Village Table. We went for lunch last Saturday afternoon. The service was ok and could best described as "indifferent", brusque, unfriendly [perhaps the 3 staff there had a bad day]. After looking at photos of Village Table, I realized that the owner was the most "indifferent']. The food was ok. The eating area w/ tables was clean. Perhaps the most concerning was having no restrooms [being told "go to the laundromat next door".. NO SOAP, no towels]. I would not recommend. read more
