What a cute spot! We visited The Vineyard 1924's pumpkin patch on an unreasonably warm October day -- but that didn't stop us from having fun! This place had plenty of fun for kids (face painting, play houses) and plenty of fun for adults as well (a bar!). Because of the heat, we didn't end up staying too long, but we did have a glass of Julian hard cider and purchase a few pumpkins to take home. Kudos to the staff for staying cool, calm, and collected while being outdoors in the heat all day! Everyone was incredibly kind and patient with us. I don't know how they did it with the heat! I commend them. Such a great place, we hope to come back for the Christmas tree farm. :)

We stopped in last weekend and were very disappointed. I understand that they're an "event venue", however they also advertise that they're a winery...unfortunately, a winery that doesn't do wine tastings. They only sell wine by the glass (Sauvignon Blanc and a red sangria) and bottle (Merlot and an Estate Cabernet Sauvignon). They also sell an IPA beer by the glass. We tried the sangria and thought it was a little on the tart side, no sweetness at all. Currently, they have a large pumpkin patch for the families to wander around, play on the hay bales, and even buy pumpkins. It looks like they have extensive grounds with lots of interesting stuff to see, like old trucks (pick-ups, fire truck, etc.). Biggest issue I had, beside the wine tasting, was that only a couple of the employees were wearing masks and following COVID-19 requirements, however the ones handling the drinks/money were not. Also, a majority of the customers were not wearing masks while walking around or standing in line for drinks. I didn't see any employees enforce customers wearing masks, if they were out and about in a "public" area. Also, no one wiped down tables/chairs between various customers use. Sorry, Vineyard 1924, I don't think we'll be back.

We really liked this place and would buy there sangria to go in bulk. The last time we went and bought 12 mason jars totaling $240+ we didn't check the jars before we left and they had put them in a box for us. Once we got home we found that they filled each jar with ice to the top watering down our sangria altering the taste. We ended up throwing all of it out. This has never happened before all the other times we bought sangria from them, never had gotten any ice before. We thought maybe since it seemed like a new person working that maybe she didn't know not to fill with ice. Immediately after finding that the jars were full of ice and we didn't get what we paid for we called them, but they were closed so we left a voicemail for them to call us back. Got no call back after a week. So we called again on the weekend when they were open and still have not received a call back. We have spent over $1000+ through the few trips we have been there and they can't even call back to make it right. They have now lost a customer. Can't believe they couldn't even have the common courtesy and basic customer service skills to call us. We will not be going back.

This place was so fun. 5/5 ambiance, 5/5 drinks and food. They had a fire place to sit by. The trees were all a great selection. 4 stars are because they gave our tree a "clean cut" which they made crooked and they left all the low hanging beaches 2-3" from the bottom. So the tree does not stand straight and it wouldn't fit into our base at home due to the branches. Sucks when you spend $150 for a tree. Will definitely go back, but either won't get a tree or I'll have to insect it before picking it up

Very charming small winery in Fallbrook. Its community oriented, on our visit there i got a feeling that everyone knows each other there and it was a gathering place for locals. The place has a very nice cozy set up. Family and pet friendly. There are no wine tasting and the wine selection is very small. We bought a bottle of cab and didn't enjoy it at all. I'm still giving them a great review because its just a nice spot, they do breakfast on Sundays, live performances and so on. It has such a welcoming vibe, i would just come to hang out there next time and enjoy the place and whatever else they have to offer. i would skip the wine.

It's the holiday season! So it was time to get our Christmas Tree! We like to look for a local tree spot that's not in a big name brand parking lot or in a field on the side of the highway. A place that goes the extra touch to make it feel like a special moment. The Vineyard 1924 was the perfect place. You drive in through the middle of the vineyard to the top of the hill where the Christmas trees are all lined up and ready to go home. We went just after sunset so they had the lights up, a disco ball going, and a fire pit a glowin'. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman that gave us the lay of the land: what type of trees they carry, the process of when you find the one, and he let us know there's a bar with wine, beer, tea, hot cocoa, and hot cider and clever seating areas to sit and enjoy the holiday music and atmosphere. The furniture was made of bales of hay and covered in fun rustic blankets. The whole set up was warm and charming. When we were ready to go we headed to the barn where they gave our tree a fresh cut and given a slice as a memento to turn into a decoration for the tree. Very lovely experience, hope to visit again for more libations and memories to come.

Pro's- - Plenty of parking - Pet friendly - Helpful and friendly service - Wine & beer - great view and pic of vineyard at sunset. Con's- - not directed towards Vineyard, but to turn into the place if you are going east bound is quite nerve wrecking if you have cars tailing you. This is the second time we have come to the Vineyard for our Christmas tree. Not only are we happy that we could bring our dogs along, but so are the dogs. This year we waited too long to get a tree, so when we drove up the easement I wasn't surprised the trees were slim picking. But, after 10 minutes of looking at what was left we found one! They will trim the bottom, attach a tree stand if you wish and also place the tree on or in your vehicle. You may get sticker shock, although they do drop the cost a bit when closer to Christmas. So if the cost is not an issue and you would like to support a business in the Fallbrook area, next time stop by the Vineyard. Don't forget you can bring Fido!

    Christmas Trees!

This is our favorite spot in San Diego for Christmas tree shopping! The location is beautiful and it's always decorated so cute for Christmas. I love that there is food, drinks, and live music available while you shop for the perfect tree. Everyone who works here is so friendly and genuinely kind. The selection of trees from Oregon are great and very reasonably priced too. The guys in charge of the trees are super helpful and happily prep your tree for you before tying it to your car for you. Be sure to bring them a nice tip because they're awesome! We live up in Mission Valley but drive out to Fallbrook just for this. Skip the trees for sale in parking lots and the side of the highway and drive out to Fallbrook for a nice family evening! Fantastic place and people, can't recommend it enough.

Nice and mellow place to unwind, drink and play some corn hole or just chill and enjoy the live band.

Owners, Kim & George, are very friendly and offer up a huge selection of white and red wines. Parking can be a challenge. If there are no spaces open at the top of the hill, you'll have to park along the side of a steep driveway. The one plus is that they do have a golf cart that will run people up and down the hill, but I don't know if that's always available. The tasting room is average size, but there is a spiral staircase that leads to a large upstairs patio (uncovered) with incredible views. You can certainly enjoy a glass or bottle up there and take in the amazing views...all the way to the ocean! WINES: The Beach House property is 4 acres total, with 2 acres planted with grapes. On our last visit, the tasting menu listed 14 wines (whites, rosé, and reds), and we even tried a couple that weren't on the menu. The wines are well made, and some that we've purchased in the past have laid down well in our cellar. I always state, individuals' palates can be very different than mine, but I'm pretty sure there will be a wine you'll enjoy. I recommend you visit and check them out for yourselves. I think you'll enjoy it. NOTE: They're only open on Saturdays/Sundays.

The winery is also the owners' residence, which adds a charming, personal feel to the experience. Don't worry about limited parking at the top, one of the owners (the very kind husband!) will happily and safely drive you up and down the hill in a golf cart. Such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! I'm looking forward to coming back to try more wines, and to check out the pizza vendor they had on-site. It looked and smelt amazing! Great wine, stunning views, and a friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for?

Be sure to call ahead to make an appointment for wine tasting. The wines are still maturing and I only found one wine that I cared for and that was the Rembrandt Pinot Noir. The whites I found more palatable....I enjoyed the sauvignon blanc and the chardonnay. Cheers!
