Service from Juan was great, he was super friendly and knowledgeable. I wish they had more options on the menu but overall experience was nice and relaxing. I got a mimosa and chilaquiles, the dish was a bit salty for me but still good, and mimosa could've been lighter on the juice for my liking--but thats just my preference. Overall nice breakfast

I've stayed at this winery a few years back but had not ate at the restaurant. We visited the restaurant and it is three or four buildings. It is an outside area, two tasting rooms, a bar then you walk to the restaurant. I ordered the chilaqules, with a side if bacon and an IPA. the chilaqules was delicious, the breakfast potatoes were well seasoned and the side of bacon was good as well. The waiters and waitresses were nice, took our order and it didn't take long to receive the food. We sat in a private did area so that was nice as well

Some afternoons are just meant to be savored and this was one of them. We brought our dog and were able to sit on the patio, which overlooked a beautiful green lawn. It was the kind of setting that makes you slow down and actually be present. Dog friendly, gorgeous views, a glass of rosé in hand... what more do you really need. The staff was friendly and unhurried... you never feel rushed here, which is exactly the right energy for a winery setting. We ordered the beyond burger, charcuterie board, truffle fries, and a vegetable bolognese with added chicken. Everything was enjoyable but the truffle fries were genuinely addictive. If you are heading to Temecula wine country and want a beautiful spot to spend a few hours with good food, a lovely glass of wine, and yes... your dog... this is it. A truly lovely afternoon. I will be back.

We came here for breakfast after staying at the beautiful Carter Estates, South Coast Winery sister company. Last time we came and ate here, we sat outside, this time we sat inside and it was just as nice. The restaurant is beautiful and I love the architecture of the vaulted ceilings. Service is attentive, expeditious and friendly. Food is excellent! We will be back!

After a full day of winetasting around Temecula, we were so happy that we made a reservation at the Vineyard Rose. First and foremost, the food is very fresh and so delicious ... We had a lovely booth in the middle of the restaurant and we were taking care of by the weight staff, but we're so friendly and so nice . They do sell more bottles than glasses of wines, but you are more than welcome to bring a bottle for a corkage fee . Really gorgeous atmosphere in this restaurant ... the winter harvest salad was not wintry at all, but very fresh, and it tasted summery we can't wait to come back and enjoy this restaurant again

While attending the sip and shop ladies day I decided to grab lunch in their beautiful restaurant. What drew my attention was the open beams. Unbeknownst to me, the owner is another buckeye from Ohio. Before coming down, I looked up information on the winery and discovered The Vineyard Rose Restaurant has been honored with the prestigious 2025 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the third consecutive year, so after shopping in the quaint gift shop and meandering through the banquet room where vendors were set up, I made myself comfortable at one of the tables. From the gift shop to my waiter, everyone was very kind and friendly. I ordered a margherita pizza with chicken and mango raspberry mimosa. Both were delicious. I would love to come back and try one of their larger dinners.

This place is so amazing! The decor and ambiance is so high end and fancy, beautiful exterior and interior. The customer service was great, we had Matt when we came in for their brunch and he was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the cali Benedict, and the chilaquiles. The chilaquiles were so good! Amazing seasoning on the meal, the chips were still crunchy and delicious. My cold brewed iced coffee was okay, it looked better than it tasted. I think they put too much syrup in it and I couldn't finish it. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here and I'm looking forward to coming back to try their dinner menu.

Braised short rib - just okay

Came here for dinner while visiting from out of town. Location is beautiful. It has high ceilings and looks like a cabin inside. I had the Braised Short rib on a bed of mashed potatoes. While the tomato paste on top didn't look as appealing, it did provide flavor to the entire meal. The plate needed more mashed potatoes. My wife had the seafood linguini with truffle Alfredo. She enjoyed it and said it was tasty. Service was good.

Food was good. The salmon needed salt and I wish it was hotter, but overall the dish was tasty. They were very generous with the feta cheese. Ambiance was very festive for the holidays. There were carolers going from table to table. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!

This is just one part of the flowers. The entire property is gorgeous.

We had a party of 3 last night celebrating a special birthday. Matthew was our server and he was excellent. Very informative on the menu and how to pair wines. He was friendly and attentive. The filet was cooked to perfection. I strongly recommend this for a celebration or just a cozy dinner for two. They have gorgeous flowers outside and the entire ambiance was amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Wow what a wonderful experience we had here for valentines day. The restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a valentines date. Our server was very kind and attentive to us throughout the dining experience. We had a pre-set menu which we were able to choose an appetizer, entree, & dessert. The food was amazing and I left feeling full. The wine was amazing. Unsure which one I ordered, but our server recommended it to us. Only issue I have was the young lady upfront. Not very welcoming, but as the night went on and we had a few more interactions w her she started to lighten up. Thank you for a great night! Look forward to dining here again!

We had an average lunch but the hostess staff was incredibly rude, so rude I'll never be back or recommend. I made a reservation prior to my arrival and requested outdoor seating. I confirmed outdoor seating upon arrival, we waited 15 minutes to be sat outside at a table next to the doors. I requested a table further away on balcony (there were 3 open) and was told we couldn't sit there because they were reserved. I said yes, I made a reservation prior to asking to be sat there and confirmed seating at check in. She then back tracked and said well that waiter was just sat a large table of 4ppl (we were a party of 5), I said I'm happy to wait and she said okay well you have to go back and wait in the entrance area, we couldn't wait the 15 mins at the table. It was obscene to go and spend $250 on lunch for my family and have a hostess with attitude and lying about tables and seating. Our server was kind, and helped me choose a wine with lunch. I then went to the wine shop to purchase the Carter Cabernet Sauvignon I was served to find out it wasn't even a wine from this winery and I needed to go down the road to the Carter Vineyard or purchase it back at the restaurant for a higher price. I will be skipping next visit and just going to the Carter Vineyard and restaurants.

Nathan was our waiter and was fantastic!!! The last time we were here we sat outside and had a different waiter and it wasn't that great of an experience. Nathan made this time around so much better. We love that this place is so mellow and quiet for breakfast. The food is excellent. Ask for the Ranchero salsa, it's delicious if you're a salsa lover. I love their vineyard breakfast as it's just the right amount of food for me. My fiancé loves their southwest scramble with ranchero salsa. You need to stop by for breakfast. You can walk in or make a reservation. I highly recommend if you stop by for dinner that you have a reservation as this is a popular restaurant.

I worked in hospitality and fine dining for decades. Hence my 3 star assessment of Gourmet Italia:…read more 1) A pretentious attitude by your wait staff does not make for good fine dining. Frankly, pretentious attitudes lower the experience for everybody. Even for your waiters. 2) It isn't "fine dining" to conceal the prices from your customers and to then surprise them when the check comes. $100 for a not so special dinner for one? Oh lord. 3) I ordered the "special" Caesar Salad. $20 when the check came. My waiter didn't bother to time arrival of the main course so it arrived before I was even half way finished with the "special" salad. Btw---is Romaine lettuce too expensive now to portion properly on a $20 plate? 4) My waiter offered to take away my salad so he could "make room" for the main course. Take it away? It was only half eaten and this was with just a handful of lettuce on the plate. 5) So he instructed the busser to remove my bread. I liked the salad and the small slices of bread much better than the rather odd Chicken Piccata that came out. 6) My waiter suggested I order the side pasta with the same lemon sauce as the Piccata (although it normally comes with Pomodoro Sauce. In theory great suggestion! In reality --- not so good. The pasta sucked up most of the sauce leaving the Chicken oddly dry. I asked for a bit of the marinara sauce it's normally served with (on the side do I could try it out). No problem! They just tucked an extra charge of $2 into my already inflated bill. The higher the better, after all! Who cares about being fair to a customer? 6) I had asked for a glass of ice water at the start to enjoy with the wine. My waiter arrived with a bottle of Pellegrino. No doubt the better to pad my tab. I pointed out his error in a kind way---he whisked away the now opened Pellegrino bottle and then made it a point to confiscate the glass of water he had already mistakenly poured. What do you suppose his plan was with this? To maybe resell the already opened bottle to another customer? Maybe convince them the amount already poured out into another customer's glass never happened? Dear Waiter, If this IS fine dining (or ANY LEVEL of service you simply apologize for the error and invite the customer to enjoy the water you just poured for them. Then send a bottle of the water they intended over as well.

When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.
