They're two of the most important and versatile staples for any home kitchen, and you don't even have to cook to use them... just dip foods straight into them or drizzle these beauties on top! I was a bit early for a meeting nearby, so I decided to stop in here and see what was going on since I love anything that has to do with food. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, asked if I'd been there before, and then was given a super quick and helpful tour and how-to handle sampling. I could stay in here for hours mixing oils and balsamic vinegars! There are little pieces of fresh made (in house) French bread with toothpick, and then tiny plastic cups for mixing your oil and vinegars. Since I couldn't eat the bread, I simply tiny cups and took baby sips. Oh man... everything I tasted was absolutely amazing. These are high quality products. Rows and rows of different flavor infused extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars, from sweet to spicy to citrusy to earthy. Some of my personal recommendations are the Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar (so tart and bright), the Blood Orange Olive Oil (fruity in the most subtle and smooth way), the Tuscan Herb Olive Oil (you'll taste garlic, sun dried tomatoes, basil, and more), the Wild Mushroom and Sage Olive Oil (seriously earthy and deep), the Cilantro and Onion Olive Oil (very strong and fresh), and the Black Mission Fig Balsamic Vinegar (the taste is so clear, you'll swear you're eating actual figs). Whatever ingredients are infused into the product, you'll taste its authenticity. The Honey Ginger Vinegar was outstanding, as well as the Honey Serrano and Vanilla Balsamic Vinegars. Perhaps a bit too sweet for my liking, but incredible nonetheless. I had so much fun tasting product after product and being left to leisurely browse. When you find something you know you HAVE to have, ask an employee and they'll fill up your bottle right then and there. It's only $11 for a 200ml bottle, which is a good size (and makes the cutest gift, if you ask me). $16 for 375ml and $28 for 750ml. The prices seem more than fair to me. I also love that you can read about each oil and vinegar to see where the ingredients (fruits, olives, etc) were harvested (Spain, Italy, Portugal?) and see what it pairs well with. They also have plenty of recipe ideas and amazing kitchen/cooking trinkets and accessories for sale. On top of all this, there is a small kitchen inside Bella Vita, so they make freshly baked bread and a few other treats, like cookies! You'll also find a few gourmet cheeses. I really loved this shop and I'm excited to return. It's the only one there is, so come here or check out their website where you can order their wonderful products online.

I've heard nothing but good things about this place and their food but I have yet to check it out until I saw their entry for Burger Week With A caramelized onion jam and melted Brie which sounded delicious and I'm happy to report it was! That would certainly recommend the meat board to anyone looking for a quality Burger and some very high quality meat sold at the counter.

Charcuterie boards can be so boring and stale if not thoughtfully designed, and obviously the freshness of the ingredients is of utmost importance. Too often with charcuterie boards you get that refrigerated taste/smell from something that's been sitting uncovered in a fridge for too long. But these boards were super-well-wrapped until time to eat. There is clearly a lot of care put into each board, and so many beautiful, quality ingredients. These particular grazing boards had a variety of 4 cheeses (like a pistachio crusted goat cheese, sharp cheddars, brie, and habanero pepper), 2 meats (salami arranged like a rose and capicola on the side), a handful of nuts (pistachios or almonds), salty cornichons or olives, plump fruit (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and grapes), wafer-y crackers, a piece of foil-wrapped chocolate, and a tiny glass jar of local honey or jam. And a sprinkling of vibrant, edible flower petals. It's really very pretty, bountiful, and colorful. See my photos! I'd say these specific boards are a great size for 2-4 people to share. The Art of Grazing's website has all the info on their different boards.. lots of sizes, crudités or cheeses or meats or combos, holiday themes and specials. Looks like they host classes and events, too. Flight nights, brunch boards with mimosas, that sort of thing. Love it. They're in a cute little spot in Southside Fort Worth. And a women-owned business!

Despite our dismay, we still wanted to grab dinner together. Out of the nearby options, we opted for Mister O1. I'm glad we did. I was the only one who had never tried it. There was high praise for this restaurant. Thankfully, on that weekday evening, there wasn't a wait. We were promptly seated. Upon recommendation by our server and what we were craving, we opted for the Star Laina and the Star Michele. These Star Pizzas are unique to Mister O1 - it's basically fancy stuff crust with less filling but more flavorful ricotta in a star shapped pie. Both of the pies we got were excellent. Star Michele has a strong cast of veggies that give the dish some balance against the ricotta. Though, Star Laina was my favorite of the two. An indulgent cheese pizza, it has mozzarella, extra ricotta, and parmesan. Delicious! To end the meal, we did also get one of the dessert pies, nutella pizza and banana. I just don't see how you could go wrong with it. Overall, would certainly come back again!

We got to sample some wines and it was so fun he had us guess what was what. Not an easy game but I recommend! Thin crust, fresh, light, with amazing fresh goodness quality ingredients. My husband got a star pizza which drew me to this place, and you can pick two flavors so we got pepperoni on one side and the flavor with spicy salami and coffee on the second half. Delicious! I got a small margarita. They have this amazing spicy olive oil which I'm like where have you been all my life- and mixed with honey- wow game changer. Ambiance- It feels nice but not too fancy and stuffy- I had a great time- and loved that we went at a later time so when all the customers left and there was just us my husband and I just felt so happy and relaxed. They play Elvis and other nice tunes. Overall- we took a chance and drove 15 some minutes here and are so glad we did! Will definitely be back and tell all our family and friends about it!
