As a pug mom myself, I couldn't help but smile at all the adorable ways Frenchies were incorporated within the shop's atmosphere. The service was really incredible. The two bobaristas were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They were quick with making my drink and even filled up my Stanley tumbler with water. I ordered the "Salted Vietnamese Coffee" and am so happy I did. The actual drink itself is one of the most delicious, creamy, flavorful Vietnamese coffees I've ever had. I highly recommend trying this drink out if you're on a hunt for a good Vietnamese coffee in the Costa Mesa and Newport area. Parking lot is located behind the shop. It's quite small, but I had no problem finding a space. Will definitely be visiting again!

I honestly can't imagine how sweet it would be at 100%. The boba was a little too chewy for my preference, and I've definitely had better elsewhere. The drink was reasonably priced at $5.75, so it didn't feel overpriced. One thing I appreciated was that there is parking behind the building near the back entrance, which made it easy to get in and out. They also have a few small two-person tables inside. I was able to grab a seat, enjoy my milk tea, and spend some time reading my book while I was there. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't memorable enough for me to come back. Glad I tried it, but there are other boba shops I prefer.

It is one of my favorite drink toppings now second only to tea jelly from A Little Tea Genmaicha is one of my favorite teas so to have that as a latte with oat milk plus the oats was amazing. Highly recommend the honey rosemary latte - can't find it anywhere else and it's delicious for those who love semi-sweet floral leaning lattes. Brownie points for the syrup being made in house (it's a tablestake these days but still appreciate it). Spanish latte is also superb. Pastries are some of the best we've had. I recently ordered the plain croissant and it was by far the best plain croissant I've had in my life. You'll need to come earlier in the day to have options because they sell somewhat quickly. Small nitpick that I've also seen from others is that they really should keep pastries in a case rather than out in the open. The fly fan things don't work that well... Also with the amount of dogs, fur and dander are inevitably airborne. When I was there last a customer's large dog jumped on the counter several times and had his face and paws in the pastries - woops.

It wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated. I also love that they offer gelato, açaí bowls, tea, and smoothies--such a great variety. Emma mentioned they carry ceremonial-grade matcha and said it's a must try, so needless to say, I'll definitely be back for that. Shoutout to Emma for being so kind and for turning me into a repeat customer.

It's located at the Newport/Balboa pier by the surfer statue, the interior is tight but manageable as the drinks come out pretty quickly. There's plenty of tables set outside to be shared amongst the other small food spots around. I visited on a Saturday morning after taking a walk up and down the pier with my pup. The line was a few folks out the door but I was at the counter ordering within a few minutes. The menu is straight and to the point, prices are what you'd expect from any coffee shop in the OC (I would think the baseline is $6-$8 per drink) They also offer smoothies and açaí bowls as well. I see that they had an açaí smoothie on the menu and was intrigued! Once I received my smoothie, I could tell just by visuals it was a premade frozen açaí blend of some sort that was re-blended. It tasted pretty close to the single serve frozen açaí pouches you can buy at Costco. And speaking of, the consistency was exactly like your Costco berry smoothie (and dare I say.. even the taste? lol) except of course the Costco smoothie is only $3. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. It wasn't cheap ($8) but, it was a cold drink on a hot day that was artificially sweet and went down easy. And also, served by the nicest staff!! Next time I'll try their matcha (which is what I was going to order but then I had to get spontaneous lol)
