Great food. Just don't sit outside or you won't get served. We've had to leave twice sitting on the patio because the waitress ignored us.

Good pizza, nice staff, and great happy hour. Take out is also pretty easy here as well. I've had a few of their salads which were a good size. I've also tried 4 different types of their pizzas and they were awesome. I've dined in a few times as well and enjoy the low key vibe. read more

Best pizza I have had in Denver - and they deliver locally which is even better. I have also been to the dining room which can get quite loud and crowded (for those of you who like that)... for my taste I have found that going in when they are less crowded is ideal. Best gluten free pizza in town! The ingredients are super fresh and the pizza is amazing. The avocado walnut salad is also really good. We order delivery all the time, it can take awhile (usually an hour), but it's worth it. Also a great place to see live music, and they have a really great bar staff. read more

The walnut is good because it's a little off the grid not ever crazy good food good drink specials, dog friendly patio. I have not ever ate it but one of my buddy's likes to go there because they have gluten free pizza so its a good place for us to hit up, only thing I don't like is the way they cut there pies Detroit style squares but all in all you wont be disappointed read more

I had higher expectations from reading other reviews, but was disappointed. I had a French dip but the meat was overly salty. The bread was good, with a nice toast. The pasta salad was unfortunately nothing special as well. My friend had the buffalo chicken wrap which overall was plain. Unless there's a good venue I won't be back. read more

This place is usually quite busy, but bartenders are friendly, and service is expeditious. The food is very good, and the pizza is recommended if you enjoy thin crust. I have held two seminars for attorneys at The Walnut Room. It has the perfect mix of good food, reasonably-priced drinks, good beer selection and a great venue for a group of about 50 or so. The vibe works for us older people--we feel like we are still hanging with a hip crowd, but we have no tattoos or piercings. Moreover, the staff was wonderful. Quick to help, very responsive. A bit slow with getting the food out at the last meeting, but I think we had several last minute members show up. I highly recommend these guys. read more

I have tried so hard to like this place. It is near my apartment and has a cool venue, however, this place always disappoints. The food isn't terrible but for what you're paying the quality runs short. I will probably return and try the Walnut room out again in the future, but as of now it's low on my list. read more

The Walnut Room is such a Denver staple, especially for locals. There is a music venue in the back which we came to one Thursday night for the live Phish streaming. Very roomy, comfortable, and well lit. The bartender Eddie was very sweet and prompt with our drinks. He remembered what we were drinking and kept them coming! The venue itself has great sound and overall great atmosphere. There was lots of room to either sit or dance. We decided to come into the main dining area and eat after the show. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the most adorable and smiley girl named Allison. She was such a riot! Very enthusiastic about her job and gave some great recommendations about the menu. We split the Gyro sandwich, the Margheritaville pizza, and the pepperoni pizza rolls. We demolished it all in a matter of minutes. Allison and Eddie were both super memorable and I hope to see them when we come back for the next show! Everything the recent posts say is absolutely true...this place SHOULD be a good place, instead the service is terrible...if you get served at all. We sat for 10-15 minutes the other night before leaving for lack of service only to be greeted with "thanks you guys!" What in the hell are you thanking us for?!? Your lack of basic service? Then we order tonight, to bypass the idiots running the place in person, only to have both orders messed up (two very, very easy orders - two pizzas)...after having to deal with the overpriced online ordering because apparently talking to people on the phone is beyond the people running this place. I won't go back even if they gave me free food or drink...worse than terrible. read more

I first started frequenting the Walnut Room when it first opened, as I had recently moved into the Rock Drill Lofts. I found the staff to be incredible- one bartender even cleaned me up after getting hit by a car on my bike. The pizza is definitely some of the best in Denver if you're a fan of thin crust. The Jabels- jalapenos, pesto and pepperoni- is not to be missed. Super intimate music venue with some AMAZING national (as well as local) acts. I'm a shorty, so I really appreciate being able to SEE a show. Patio used to be dog friendly (hopefully still is) and while it can get busy, there's usually somewhere to snag a spot. This is by far the worst place to try and order food. It sucks that it's such a poorly ran business because their food tastes great (from time to time)!!! I know it's not the waiter's either. DO NOT EAT HERE because it will take an hour for you to get your food while you are there, and it will take an hour for you to get it to go, and it will take an hour for you to get it NO MATTER WHAT. Delivery sucks too. It seems to be dead more times than none and for some reason takes an hour to make a sandwich, it's baffling. The last time we ordered, not only did it take forever for them to make it, they decided to put the sandwich on bottom, to get smashed by the rest of the order, the owner did not seem to care either when we complained about the wait time (They told us it would be 15 minutes, so when we showed up we wound up waiting another good twenty minutes) also the fact that the packaging made no sense, why squish the sandwich? The half sandwich. Another time I went to sit down, got an order to go, I watched everyone else get their food before me who arrived AFTER I did. Once Ic omplained to the manager working that day, he just handed us the food, gave us a dirty look and walked over to another customer. Poor service, did not make us feel welcomed, like our money wasn't good enough. NEVER GOING BACK NEVER ORDERING EVER AGAIN. read more

Walnut Room is great! It's become my new go-to place for lunch ever since my job relocated to this area. There's very few places within walking distance to eat at around here, so I was glad they had a good variety of food. Their pizza is surprisingly phenomenal! I don't know what they do but the dough comes out softer than anywhere else. I'm use to New York Style pizza being as hard as cardboard and powdered to hell with flour. They also have a great check-in deal with Yelp. When you check-in you get free cheese bread which is almost a full meal by itself. I always get the boneless buffalo wings when I go; they are super tasty. I've seen live music here once and it was a great experience, the venue room is a cozy size and they have a separate bar back there. read more

The drinks were good, but how difficult is it to mess up beer? The pizza is delicious, deffinetly their strong point. The salad however, was similar quality of a cafeteria. Our experience there was good until the waiter actually had the audacity to come back to our table to tell us his tip was not good enough!!! They have a back room seperate from the bar and restaurant area with a stage live music. No band when I was there, but I got to look in there and it's pretty classy.
