Nate and I stopped in on our most recent visit to Detroit and had a lovely experience. The space is tucked away but had a surprising amount of outdoor space--we were there in January but I'd love to come back in the summer. We were greeted right away and given a spot near the bar. The menu includes cocktails, lots of wine, and several tasty food options. It was quite busy inside, so it took a bit of time for our server to come over to us, but we weren't in a rush. They had ten cocktails on their list and I tried the bullet proof soul and Nate got the negroni alla perra. The ingredients list for some of the cocktails include things I've never heard of, but at a place like this, I just know it's going to be good. Our drinks were perfectly balanced and very tasty. We also ordered the mortadella sandwich to split--this was delicious. It was pretty messy, but worth it. It was perfectly toasted and full of mortadella. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I would love to try more of the food options. Can't wait to visit again!

There's artwork, a skatepark, renovated houses, gardens and a church that is now an art gallery. We stopped in to check it out and sat at the bar for a cocktail and snack. The waitstaff were super helpful in explaining everything and we finally picked 2 apps and got drinks. Both were amazing. There were friendly patrons all around and we chatted with other bar admirers. We checked out the coffee shop, Warda, but didn't purchase anything then, but have had several of their desserts since then and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere is wonderful, indoor/outdoor bar, great outside seating - not sure how this will work in the winter? They also have very pretty stone paths with multicolor stones mixed in for a very peaceful beautiful look. It inspired me to add some multicolored stones to my garden! I can't wait to return.

You can then head outside and either go up to the roof, or down to the back garden patio. We chose to go up to the roof. There is seating up there, or several chair rails. We loved the glass ceiling!! You could look down inside! Super fun! We only stayed for a couple of drinks. We loved the vibe and absolutely would come back. Super fun!!!

They recently built a rooftop patio and man, the view alone is worth the cost of admission... Except there is no cover for any nights (so far)! Their drink menu is primarily inventive amaro-forward cocktails, but don't worry, you can also just get a beer or a vodka soda or a wine, or whatever your pleasure is. There is also non-alcoholic selection. The crowd is diverse, all are welcome. Lots of youngins but also a fair amount of people that maybe grew up when Disco was contemporary. I say this because, no one should feel intimidated about coming here for whatever reason. I know some people don't want to come to a dance club for whatever reason but the are plenty of seats and spots where you can just stand and sway if you want but, it also has one of the best dance floors in Detroit if you want to really get down! They are now mostly just open Fridays and Saturdays, I think from 6 or 7pm to 1am and I've gone early, late, middle, and the crowd ebbs and flows so, that's a bonus too: you could go early and have a fun time and still get home at a decent hour or shut it down. The music is primarily 70s disco but it dips into 80s/90s/2000s. Most times, the music is playing and the analog TVs around are showing the original videos which is fun just to watch those too. The staff is excellent and inviting. Just a great spot and I'm looking forward to many more fun nights there!

Lenny's is awesome! Dive bar feels, pool table, sassy bartender... check, check, check!…read more Built like a local watering hole you would find around old Detroit, Lenny's would be my go to if I lived closer. Great cocktail list, knowledgeable bartenders who can make just about anything, and great happy hour. Plus pool. If they had a cork dartboard I would move in next door. This was just a great experience and 100% stop here whenever I'm in the area.

They have TVs for the games and a pool table and darts maybe? Probably... I really like the craft cocktail menu that is mostly classics and around $8 to $10. Citadelle gin is their house gin so they are already tops in my book. I've tried the French 75, Daquari, and Airmail, all delicious. You can definitely get easy drinks like a gin and tonic or rum and coke too. Their house rum is Plantation, another good sign. They do have hard seltzers there but I think it's White Claw and not Topo Chico which seems to be the preferred brand in my demographic. And naturally, a variety of local and mainstream beers across all price points. Check their social media to see what games are playing and who is working the bar and if there are any specials running. They've only been open a couple weeks and it's fast becoming my before and after spot. Cheers!
