When my hair was dried, i got my makeup done and Roxan styled another client. After my makeup was done she styled my hair. She was honest about what would work and not work for my hair as my hair is very long but fine. And she added hair and things to make it look fuller. I left feeling beautiful and my son even called me a princess! It's now Sunday night and my hair is still intact, i don't want to undo it because i love it and have been sleeping with a bonnet and it looks exactly the same ! I would not recommend setting an appointment with this establishment if the time is not honored 2 1/2 hrs is blasphemy, overall service terrible customer care.

I've been hearing so much about this new protevtive style with crochet braids I wanted to try it. I didn't know to much about the style other then it's crochet and protective. lol so u can imaging how many questions I had. Soo I turned to yelp to see if I could find a salon that would be able to help me. I came across Salon 26, and decided to give them a call.... I spoke with a stylist over the phone, who basically answered all questions and concerns I had without me having to make a trip there jus for a question. At that time I schedule an appointment. One of my initial concerns, it that I'm very tender head and didn't know if I could take the pain of cornrows plus the weight of the crocheted hair. On the day of my appointment (my first time to the salon) I noticed immediately how comfortable the atmosphere was. My Stylist, Tori took me to a local beauty supply store and helped me choose the hair for the look I was trying to achieve. As she assured me on the phone, the braids were not tight at all (SURPRISED lol ) and the hair was practically weight less. (4) packs of a water wave curl by freetress, and 3 hours later... Now if your from the Bronx you know there's a salon on every corner, but u also kno it's hard to find a stylist who actually knows how to make your hair look good and keep it healthy at the same time.... So I went on yelp for help, where I found Salon 26, and I must say I was impressed, my stylist Tori, really took the time out to take care of me AND MY HAIR... I called for an appointment where they let me kno they not only styled the hair, but I could also purchase my hair at the salon, talk about one stop shop!! There I purchased 3 bundles of Malaysian curly hair, that she installed with a protevtive net on top of sum slayed braids... I was impressed because we all kno, a good weave starts with good braids.... I love how she took her time to make sure I was pleased, and I surely was!! THANKS Tori!! I LOVE the hair... I was searching for a new stylist, I look on yelp and saw this salon. I was a little nervous because there were not many reviews. I called and spoke to Tory, she was very professional and willing to accommodate my schedule. I made an appointment for the same day. I told her how I wanted my hair and she did an amazing job!!! When she was done with my weave it was even better than I envisioned. I like although she was doing my weave she still she gave me advise on ways of keeping my natural hair healthy. I tried new hair for the first time in years and loved it! I wear my hair platinum blonde, so I purchased it natural black and had to bleach and color it to achieve my perfect color. The hair feels great after the hair coloring process and took the color very well with absolutely no problems this is how I just knew it was official grade AAA Hair! this place is great, i was very comfortable and my hair dresser knew exactly what i wanted. I was looking for a place in my area that did crochet twist because i had cut off my hair and was lookin for a style that all of my hair would be covered and protected. My hairdresser tori explained that the crochet twist would be a protective hairstyle that i didnt have to do much to after i had it done. I think I've finally found a salon that knows what they're doing. I found this cute and cozy lil door name The wave that took care of everything I needed. I called in the phone and my stylist answered ever question I asked before I even came in. she had the hair and closure that I wanted on the spot and after it was done my weave was WONDERFUL... I reached out to the salon that few days later to see if they could help resolve the issue with the install but the woman I spoke with was indifferent to the severity of the situation or the discomfort I was in. She told me they were booked but I could try to come in a few days later and sit around to see if they could fit me in. She had no concern for the issue and was not apologetic at all. I typically add a little curly whip at the end which keeps my hair frizzless (?) lol. The only product I had trouble using after my salon visit was the blow it out cream. I just felt it made my hair sticky even using a dime sized amount so unfortunately that product has been sitting on my shelf :(
