A nice little eyelash extension studio in Pasadena near Hastings Ranch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came by last week for a waxing appointment and they had availability on short notice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The shop has all of the treatment areas in one room with curtain dividers separating the beds for lashes, facials, and waxing. It's a very small space so it is not private but when we came in the appointments were one at a time with just one employee. They were polite and did a gentle waxing, but their primary business is eyelashes which seem to be a low price. It's just not something I've gotten into myself so I can't comment on the lash service but overall it was a decent appointment and affordable. I do wish they had more privacy for these types of self care services but it's a clean little shop. read more

I would like to preface my review by saying firstly, this is just for their waxing services and also that I do not have a ton of experience getting waxed. I have gone in for a half leg, upper lip, and brow waxing about five times in the last two years. I started off with my neighborhood manicure place. While the ladies there are very sweet, they're not really set up to be super successful in waxing. The tiny room that they wax in is poorly lit and the hair on my legs is a very light brown so I would always come out pretty patchy with hair left over in areas. I then started going to Wax Candy and while they would get all the hair, they would also leave behind a lot of wax, which is simply annoying. Nobody wants to drive home feeling like they're sticking to parts of their car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a simply lovely experience at Arigato Beauty; the gal who did my waxing was very professional, easy to talk to, and gave me my first bikini wax![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She ended each section with olive oil and then aloe, which was absolutely delightful. The location has its own parking and it is very clean and relaxing inside. She has calming music on so I'm always falling asleep quickly. The service was amazing! They just opened and I was able to try a deal via Groupon. I got the signature ultra sonic facial, and it was so relaxing! The lady who did my facial was so sweet. The place is located on a busy street, but I did not mind the noise-- the facial was so relaxing I even fell asleep! Usually, the person leaves the room during my mask, but she did not leave me for a second-- she was actively working on my facial and massaging me the whole time. The massage was great with perfect pressure and flow! My face felt so refreshed after. She even gave me a little gift bag with gua sha/roller tools, and even a cute hair tie. I did my eyebrows a few times here before and she does a great job. I just did my eyelashes today and they came out amazing and I know that it's only been a day but I keep forgetting. I have eyelashes on. I rubbed my eyes several times and they did not budge I didn't even tell her what I wanted. I just told her I did not want my eyes to look like they're frowning and she did a absolutely great job. She also has a very clean place. She's also very gentle with her hands.
