Super attentive and personable bartender! The friendly waitress and bartender made it a super welcoming stop on our way traveling through. Food was good. The special was sweet potato gnocchi in a sage and walnut gravy with seared chicken and drunken cranberries. Very good. The boneless wings and house made chips were standard pub fare. Plenty of TVs and all NFL games were on ( it was a Sunday in Nov. ) Nice, warm atmosphere. We would definitely stop again!

The reviews lead me to the right spot in Bedford! Was in town for a night on tour, and this was the resounding eatery to visit, that was also apparently newer. Walked in with the larger group, and saw there was music that night plus coolers for to-go beers. Already enjoyed the vibe - even though myself and my cadre very much stood out. The place has a great bar seating and back area, which worked for the 6 of us. The menu looked fantastic and I am a sucker for a place that does a Pittsburgh style salad. I also clocked the soup options and very glad I got the tomato bisque. I could tell it was house made and it was really tasty. The salad was incredible. Defaulted to the chicken and blue cheese for dressing, it was incredible. Crisp fries over cheese, greens with chicken, egg and the dressing, I finished the whole thing and practically licked the plate. I got to try the chili cheese fries as well, and wowie. Whatever they have going on in that kitchen is real magic, and I loved the music they had too! While there werent a ton of people sitting and watching, talented musicians at a reasonable volume, plus nice people. Great place, definitely keeping in my bookmarks for future visits to the area.

Pub chips with balsamic and blue cheese- amazing!

5 Stars Stumbled into this spot and might've just found my new go-to. The whole wings? Absolutely killer--crispy outside, juicy inside, full of flavor. Started with the pub chips topped with balsamic and blue cheese--simple, but so good. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly. I think I could definitely be a regular here.

Old School Flair!…read more The Prohibition Hub brings the look and feel of an underground speakeasy to a modern-day level. Pretty slick-looking rustic bar greet you when you walk in. Not huge, but not a hole-in-the-wall either. The back wall informing customers of the bottles that they have behind the bar as well as the food offerings. Fantastic selection of bourbon for all brown liquor enthusiasts. Really, just about something for everyone, and more. Then, there's the aspect That You Don't See as much anymore. The cigar bar offering. A great selection of stogies to light ones fire for a relaxing drink and a slow smoke. But where to smoke this fine crafted cigar? Out on the smoking patio, but of course. Located just outside the bar, this intimate rooftop smoking section invites you just to sit and chill and relax with a few friends. Individual tables are integrated with cushioned seating areas that surround small fire pit tables. Offering a quiet warm place to relax and enjoy a very effortless night with Friends. Would I go back? Definitely. This was a favorite with a group of us that came out here after dinner one night. Great staff, good time was had by all and absolutely plan on visiting again.

Our bartender was fantastic--friendly, attentive, incredibly welcoming, and even helped us get connected to Wi-Fi while we were there. Just genuinely excellent hospitality from beginning to end. The food was great too. I ordered the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich, which had pulled pork, spicy pineapple coleslaw, chipotle aioli, and goat cheese. The goat cheese especially made the sandwich for me, and I would have happily taken even more of the slaw and sauce. My husband had the smashburger and said it was absolutely worth the $18 price tag. And the fries! Perfectly crispy, and the balsamic ketchup was ridiculously addictive. We finished with the cinnamon-sugar fried ice cream cannolis, and they disappeared in about five minutes. Crunchy cinnamon-sugar shell, cold ice cream, chocolate, whipped cream, and strawberries--and even the strawberries were delicious, not just decoration. We decided to eat downstairs in the bar area. It had ha nice cozy low key atmosphere. Which was nice. We also felt like we were well taken care of there. Great food, wonderful service, and the kind of hospitality that makes you genuinely want to come back. Definitely recommend stopping by.

There's parking along the Main Street, as well as lots of spots in the back of the building. You can enter from the main entrance of the hotel and take the elevator down or you can head down the steps in the back to enter. Doesn't matter which way, just get here. We were absolutely blown away by the quality, portions, flavor profiles, and service in this little gem. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by a super friendly bartender named Matt. He was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. He was always checking up on us and making sure that we were always good. Service was fabulous. There's a timeline of the history of this historic building on the back of the menu. We ordered two drinks. One was an apple cider margarita and the other was a strawberry gin fizz concoction that was amazing. Both of these drinks were delicious. If we weren't driving and staying in the actual hotel above this tavern, we would have tried several other ones on the menu. Lots of creative choices that looked to be tasty based on the mix of ingredients. For the food - the menu was enticing and extensive. Lots of creative things happening here. The app we decided on was the Parmesan crusted Brussels and boy did they not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. We opted for The French Dip with fries and some magical au jus and a Union Smash burger with fries for our meals. Both are highly recommended!!! The burger was served on this delicious cloud of brioche bun and stacked high with two patties (perfectly cooked), pickles, dijonaose, and cheese. The French Dip had the most magnificent crusty roll and tender meat. Then there are these amazing Parmesan parsley fries that are perfectly cooked and served hot! We could have eaten an entire plate of these. To go boxes were needed. Big portions. We couldn't fit dessert! The bill does come with some tasty Andes mints. Prices here are extremely reasonable! I can't stress enough about how absurd it is that this small town has such a hidden treasure of a place where the food is beyond amazing. This place is a full package. If you live anywhere within an hour or even two, come here!! You won't regret this decision. Scrumptious!!!!

Unfortunately, our most recent visit was very disappointing. We ordered the chicken wings, and they were clearly undercooked--the bones were actually cold, which was very concerning. Our server handled the situation exceptionally well and went above and beyond to make things right. We truly appreciated their professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue. However, by that point we had lost our appetite and decided to leave. While this experience was disappointing, we're hopeful it was just an isolated incident because our previous visits have always been enjoyable. The servers and front of house workers are pleasant and eager to help. The restaurant is rather small with very little seating and a small bar. I had a group of 7 for our Supper Club and they took us shortly after opening so that they could better serve us. Our waitress was super helpful with suggestions and answered any questions that we had about the menu. She was helpful and accommodating, not to mention patient with all of our questions! We indulged in multiple appetizers, different entrées, and even dessert. Here's my review of each part of the meal: Smoked Chicken Pierogies: These pierogies were different and delicious. They were super flavorful, but they were unique and worthy of trying! Foccacia: I cannot say enough good things about their foccacia. It was perfectly soft and plump and included 3 unique dipping sauces that blew me away: red pepperonata, whipped ricotta pepper honey, and pomegranate molasses. I couldn't believe how good all of it tasted! Mustard Glazed Salmon: This dish came with butternut squash hummus & grains. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flavored well with the mustard. I didn't love the grains and the hummus was underwhelming, but it was a unique dish. Blackberry & Pumpkin Crepes: These Crepes were flavorful and delicious. The pumpkin was not overly spiced up so this was a perfect light dessert to end our meal. The blackberry Crepes weren't as flavorful but delicious and nice to try. Other people in my group had the fall lasagna, diver scallops, pub burger, and bolognese, and all dishes got rave reviews! I also had a Pumpkin Espresso Martini. The flavor was great. I was disappointed in the overly salted rim and the lack of espresso beans on top, but I'd drink it again because it was delicious overall. This place was a welcomed surprise and the flavor combinations were unique and different. This place is definitely something to talk about!
