Cigar and Whiskey Bar with collection of rare and premium whiskey, bourbon Imported. The Maybourne pic credit
    Henri V.

The Cigar and Whiskey Bar is located inside The Maybourne Hotel is OPEN! Formerly known as the Ten Pound Bar to former: The Montage Hotel. The Montage Hotel was acquired by the Maybourne group and the Ten Pound Bar closed due to the COVID pandemic. Upon entry, the aroma of fragrant cigar and cedar catches your senses. And the improves remodel is striking and maintains the elegance of a fine private club lounge to enjoy a glass of rare and exquisite whiskey from the Scottish highlands, premier japanese distilleries, as well as bourbons from Kentucky to pair along with the perfect imported cigar. The cigar humidor holds over 3000 cigars from the Carribean to Central America. In partnership with Cigar expert and founder 'Taz' is still at the helm. This swanky cigar and whiskey lounge maintains the outdoor balcony seating which overlooks Beverly Canon gardens. Absolutely thrilled this lounge has reopened, its super convenient for me as a resident at The Maybourne. This bar lounge is among the best place to relax enjoy for those with a palate for the $$$$ best. Recommend.

This is a great classy place to chill on a balcony with a Cuban and a glass of whiskey. Place makes you feel like a VIP at an exclusive cigar lounge without having to break the bank on being a member when you want the occasional night out.

What a great cigar bar. Amazing view over the courtyard and the highest-quality selection of liquor I've ever seen under one roof. Amazing cigars from over the world as well. If you are in the area, I highly recommend!

This cigar lounge is fantastic. I highly recommend a reservation before coming just to secure your spot. I was led by this gentleman in a suit, walking me up to the elevator/stairs and into this speakeasy-like room full of expensive and rare liquors and a velvet red living room that was cozy and intimate. It felt like I was in this secret VIP room which was excellent. There is of course a humidor full of the major brands such as Padron, Ashton, Fuente, Oliva, etc. they also have some Cubans! This one I was truly excited about. They had Partagas and Cohiba. You have to expect that 2oz pours and cigars are going to be up charged to 3-4x the rate. For example a simple pour of Eagle Rare (2oz) goes for around $30. My Cohiba cigar was exactly $93 so that alone was expensive. It is what it is and it's expected from a high end luxury spot in the middle of Beverly Hills. It's an experience with absolutely professional staff that know enough about the products and can assist you to your liking. I spent about 2 hrs on the Terrace and enjoyed my cigar. It was nice but definitely a once in a while thing whenever I'm in LA and wanting another rare Cuban. I will be back again!

It's the kind of place where you can take your time exploring different pours rather than rushing through drinks. The selection is impressive, ranging from familiar labels to smaller distilleries you don't see everywhere. The bartender was clearly passionate about the craft and offered a couple of suggestions based on what I usually enjoy. I tried a whiskey I hadn't heard of before, and it turned out to be a great recommendation with a smooth, layered flavor. What I liked most was the atmosphere. It felt social without being overwhelming, making it easy to have a conversation or simply sit back and enjoy the drink. It's dark but has warm lighting and really cool decor such as upside down stools and fireplaces on the ceiling. My bartenders Matt & Kelsey were super friendly & made some fire drinks. Started with drinks and, honestly, can't remember what everyone ordered. I got a Desert Quench which has a tequila base and flavors of bergamot, lime, raspberry and mango. Tasted great, no complaints. For food, we started with the bone marrow and meatballs. The bone marrow was like most bone marrow, you now what you're going to get, while the meatballs were underwhelming. They didn't look appealing in terms of color and flavor was lacking. Entrees, we each tried something different. The steak frites was cooked to order but really didn't set itself apart from other frites. The trout was cooked well, and seasoned nicely, but the purple cauliflower puree, for me, didn't come together in terms of presentation for the dish. The pistachio pesto pasta was very flavorful, mixing in the burrata on top and then the little pops of spice from the chili flakes.. Just a nice bite. Finally was the double wagyu burger with caramelized onions, American cheese and a sauce emulsified with bacon. Very tasty, and those caramelized onions just added another level to each bite. Overall, nice spot in WeHo serving up some tasty cocktails and decent food. Definitely get the pistachio pesto and double wagyu burger, but you can skip the bone marrow, meatballs, frites and trout.

From fun nights out, special occasions, whiskey tastings, exploring the speakeasy... playing some pool, enjoying libations, taking in live music, perfect outings on the patio, the occasional cigar. So many great memories and experiences created here including some awesome date days with my other half. If stopping in for the first time you'll discover S.G. on 7th and Grand Avenue with a door person usually always at the bottom of the staircase just outside of the restaurant/cocktail bar Zaya (which has been many incarnations including Bar CDMX, V and Mas Malo). Provide them with a valid ID, as anybody over 21 should have a valid form of identification on them at all times, not just for driving or access to 21+ events or establishments, but for safety. And Seven Grand cares about everyone and their safety. They value their staff as much as their customers. And it shows in every way from thoughtful space in all directions, great pool tables, a whiskey, bourbon and scotch curated cocktail menu, even some good brew/beer. Awesome hallways with cabinet lockers, the cleanest restrooms, great dim dark warm lighting, fun fixtures and true DTLA vibes that feel old timey yet also very modern. Seven Grand is open to all and all are welcome. Stellar daily happy hour 4pm to 8pm. I love a good $10 Toki Highball at 5pm, but you can't go wrong with their classic old fashion also. All the bartenders are incredible as well as personable. S Grand is open every day from 4pm until 2am. Loads of lots close by as well as the Metro station at 7th and Metro. Though the trains currently stop just a little after midnight. Rideshare is also your friend, which now includes Waymo in the area. Discover Seven Grand also in San Diego, Austin or Denver.
