The hamachi was the most disgusting hamachi I've ever had. We had to spit it out and didn't finish.

Pros: the vibe, the music (every single song choice was fantastic) and our server last night. Cons: the hostess (kind of older more mature lady) was stuck up and rude af. The food is terrible. I have to say- terrible. The hamachi was the most disgusting dish I had we took a bite and didn't even touch it. To spend almost $700 between 3 ppl and not enjoy the food is unacceptable. I've been here twice. Both times I went all out and ordered a ton of food and both times it was a huge disappointment. The food is mediocre at best.

Had a phenomenal experience being my first time at Steak 48. Just went for a random date night during the week, and everything was fantastic. Ambience of the restaurant is obviously very upscale, but the vibe was more relaxed with the friendly staff and the upbeat and fun music. Cary was our server and he was the best. Extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu and he just made sure we were happy at all times. My partner has Celiac disease, so Cary was very knowledgeable about what items were gluten free, or could/couldn't be made gluten free. The food was amazing as well. Had the ribeye and my partner got the filet mignon, and we shared a salad and some side dishes as well. Everything was cooked to perfection. Don't even get me started on the dinner rolls. Almost finished the entire serving. Will definitely return!

5 star food and service. Our server Douglas was awesome, he was very helpful, and had a great sense of humor. The house bread they start you off with is super good, very buttery but tasty, and will definitely fill you up so I recommend only eating one The 48 Caesar with the poached egg was great, with the perfect amount of dressing. They brought it out pre-split into two plates, which was super nice - they did this for the steak too. The filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. For sides we got the crispy fries, sautéed mushrooms, and shells and cheese. All were fantastic although we definitely could've ordered one less side. We were here for my husband's birthday and they give you any dessert on the house. Thought this was nice, especially since most places have a set dessert for birthdays/celebrations. We got the key lime pie, which is massive!!!, and was the perfect amount of lime-yness. There's a parking lot next door which is $15 max. Entrance is from S Bedford Dr. The restaurant also has valet. We had a Friday 7pm reservation and were seated right away. The restaurant was packed! When we left around 9, there were A LOT of people waiting. Definitely make a reservation.

Place is AMAZING!!! The 8oz Wagyu and the Tomahawk are delicious and cooked to perfection. Corn crème brûlée, shells & cheese are a must!! The perfect free bread is delicious too. Service is 5 stars!! Water comes so fast and they refill drinks fast too. Very friendly. DRESS CODE ENFORCED!!!! There is a parking lot or a valet too. Very swanky indoors, romantic for a date! Or just a fancier dinner with friends!

We have just been to Ocean 48 a couple of weeks before to celebrate our anniversary and now trying Steak 48. But this time to celebrate a birthday. We loved Ocean 48 and we loved Steak 48 too! We enjoyed almost everything that we ordered, except for the Au Gratin Potatoes. It was still good but perhaps something we won't be ordering next time . We really enjoyed the Bone-In Ribeye 22oz which was cooked to perfection! The Pacifc Yellowtail Hamachi was so good as well! The Creamy Mac & Cheese was surprisingly good! We also enjoyed the Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Also one of our faves, the free bread that comes in the mini cast iron. Flaky/crispy outside but soft and buttery inside! They also give a free cookie per person. The service is very good. And the ambience is nice and cozy. Large place but like Ocean 48 in Newport, they section them off so each area still feels cozy! They did give us a dessert for the birthday celebrant and lighted a bday candle. They helped us have a wonderful birthday celebration! Though no card for the celebrant which we saw they did for the other tables, and like what Ocean 48 did for our anniversary celebration. Still very good overall and can't really complain!

This place is top tier! The food! The drinks! The atmosphere is so classy, the service is top tier! This is for sure a top 5 steak house in BH. Well worth every penny spent.

I decided to come here because the new Chase Sapphire Reserve card has a $150 credit for certain restaurants and this was one of the ones on the list--and even though I live about an hour away, it looked like the food would be delicious. We were certainly not disappointed as EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing. My ribeye steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. My mom's sea bass and my brother's salmon were also delectable. The appetizers, sides, and desserts were all amazing too. Zeff was our server; he and the entire staff were excellent. The place itself is trendy and lively. Overall, it was a great experience!

We had a reservation for two for a dinner date at Steak 48, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. From valet to the entrance, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Everyone was impeccably dressed, which added to the upscale and elegant atmosphere inside. We ordered NY strip, petit fillet mignon, loaded baked potato and creamy spinach artichoke, and everything was absolutely excellent--easily one of the best steaks I've had among many high-end restaurants. The quality and flavor really stood out. A surprising highlight was their cinnamon roll dessert--unique, not overly sweet, and definitely my favorite! What truly impressed me was their attention to detail--they even followed up the next day with a call to ask about our experience. That level of service really sets them apart. Highly recommend for a special night out.

Steak 48 is a high-end steakhouse in every way! The ambiance is classy, with ornate light fixtures and lively bar seating. Hosts greeted us enthusiastically and we didn't wait long until we were seated. I took my beautiful gf here for Valentine's Day, and it was an incredible time! Our server was so nice and attentive. We started with the crispy shrimp, superfood salad, and complimentary bread. All were so delicious, as we attempted to save some shrimp to eat with our steak. Our entree order: *Bone-in ribeye: Cooked to perfection. Perfect medium rare, seasoned perfectly. Added the truffle butter which further elevated the steak. Served on a hot plate. Incredible! *Corn crème brûlée: so delicious and unique. *Shells and cheese: Just the right amount of cheese, shells cooked perfect al dente. Valentine's Day was a success at Steak 48. 5-star restaurant, highly recommend!

Steaks! Yes, they do! Wet and dry aged, Tomahawk, filet. Etc etc etc. had the 22 oz wet aged Ribeye! Twas very good and done right. Depending on how hungry you are, 22oz + sides can be good for two. Sides was good and plenty. AMC and cheese, yes! Hamachi crudo, Yes! Service was great and attentive as it should. The ambiance was great and cozy. Lots of peeps here, especially on a weekend so make sure to reserve. This is the sister resto similar to Oceans 48 in Newport Beach so expectations are and was similar to this place. With Newport Beach edging this place out by a hair! Verdict - yes! Bring your fat wallet!

    The kitchen! Such care.

Amazing dining experience from the moment we walked into the restaurant. The raw bar and dessert display had us at hello. Steaks were excellent quality. Loved the white plates and how our server presented our sides on the plate for each of us. My wife let them know it was my birthday and there was a handwritten card on the table. Service overall was impeccable and we could not have been happier with our experience.

my wife and I came always come here for special celebrations. And today, it's my wife's birthday. And we have the best time here, by the way, I'm a steak connoisseur. I usually order the ribeye 99% of the time, but I got the New York strip. It was delicious. My wife stayed consistent ordered and got ribeye. And we brought out dessert, which is key lime pie. I'm also a key lime pie connoisseur and it was awesome everything was handled beautifully. The food is absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Amari has been our server before and his assistant Henry work very well together. So me and my wife will enjoy it. And we'll be back. My birthday is right around the corner.

DELICIOUS bread - Steak 48 in Beverly Hills

I celebrated my birthday at Steak 48 in late December and let me tell you... this was a full on treat yo'self experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed, celebrated, and taken care of all evening!!! My server, Denis, was incredible. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and dialed in on making sure I had the best meal. I started with a spectacular mocktail (always appreciated) and immediately fell in love with the warm bread which was so dangerously good I nearly filled up from the bread alone! For my entree, I went all in with the 45-day dry-aged bone-in ribeye, cooked medium-rare/rare, and it was truly divine due to it being rich, tender, and perfectly cooked. For sides, I ordered the corn creme brulee (which was both unexpected and amazing) and, at Denis's recommendation, the crispy Hasselback potato, which was absolute perfection. I needed a to-go box (obviously) though I was devastated that the choice cream cheese sauce didn't get packed up with it (a small tragedy). Since they knew it was my birthday, I was treated to a complimentary dessert, and I chose the red velvet bread pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. The restaurant had great vibes. Nothing over the top but nice, nonetheless. Everything about this dinner felt indulgent/celebratory and special. I can't believe how good it was and I already know I'll be back for another round of treat yo'self soon.

Yes they one. We sat outside but in the gallery shows a tv at the bar

Is there a happy hour during the week?!?

    Yes, very shareable.

The room name is the Dominick's bar.

We do not allow outside cakes, although we can prepare a house made cake with enough notice. Please reach out to guestservicesbeverlyhills@steak48.com to discuss options. We look forward to seeing you.

    Do they have happy hour?

    I don't know.

Reservation needed for Bar Seating ? Full Menu available at bar?

Now, the place is super small with weird seating. I like the dark vibe it has going though. The most frustrating part of it all? Servers came off super pretentious and would intentionally walk by your table without looking to avoid you asking them anything. Moreover, the place doesn't let you make many changes to your order. For example, if you ask for easy rice on the sushi, they will say no. If you ask for them to put the avocado on the side due to an allergy of one member of the group, they will say no. Our items came out SUPER slow, and this was after waiting a while for a table. The sushi is subpar - heavy on the rice and not enough fish. However, the coconut shrimp roll was good. That all being said, I'd go back and deal with it all again for the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both were a bit heavy on the bread in comparison to the protein, but delicious nonetheless.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

The service and staff is top notch as you would expect in this part of town. The food is absolutely incredible the steak was cooked perfectly, the appetizer are delightful and plentiful. A small restaurant located inside this plaza in Beverly Hills that you would never know about unless someone told you. Every time I've been, the waiters, service and management have been so nice and come check on you constantly. There are several sections in the restaurant (I think 3 but I could be wrong), but we've dined in the main room which has a retractable ceiling for when it's too sunny out, they have a bar area that has a small little lounge section in the back of it, and it looks like there may be another section that I haven't been to. The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. One of the best! The Hideaway goes down as one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills and I highly recommend checking it out. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Service was nice, but a bit slow - we were informed they were training a new staff member. Fortunately we had no plans, so lazily lounged about after placing our order. My fiancé ordered the Ella omelette ($28). It comes with a small side salad, and the omelette itself is mostly just egg and cheese. Cooked well, but a wee bit small and kinda boring since there wasn't much filling. The dressing on the salad was really good though. I got the breakfast burrito ($25) with my choice of mushrooms and potatoes. It was much more substantial and a very filling portion. I ate half and split the rest with my fiancé. We also decided to get the PB&J overnight oats ($16). It was plated beautifully and by this point, I was already stuffed. We really only got it to use up the dining credit, but it was a nice sweet option to end breakfast with. Automatic 20% service fee is tacked onto the bill as well. The interior is pretty cute and I thought the restaurant was pretty quiet. There weren't too many patrons in our area when we dined in. VANDERPUMP RULES FANS: restaurant was featured in season 10 episode 11 where Raquel/Rachel met up with Oliver for a date. I saw it on the press section in their IG and without even realizing it, picked the spot they probably sat in (based on the vantage point).

There's also indoor seating for chilly evenings, although heat lamps outside are plentiful. Service is top notch as well. Everything our party of 3 tried was foodie 5 star quality. For appetizers we shared the beet salad which was beautifully presented and very colorful. Our second appetizer was the grilled prawns, which came with 6 large pieces, which were cooked in a savory sauce. For entrees we shared the scallops, salmon and the black cod. I would order any of the 3 again. We shared 1 order of the cheesecake and it was so creamy and flavorful without being too filling. Normally I would say it is a special occasion restaurant but it's so good that I want to go every week. Their Golden Hour is a very good deal if you're able to dine early. There is a Beverly Hills city lot adjacent to the restaurant with 90 minutes of free parking.

My friend chose to celebrate her birthday here with a tea party for 10 women, and it took nearly two weeks just to secure the reservation. Communication was slow and unresponsive. Her fiancé even tried to pre-order a bottle of champagne for the birthday girl, but they wouldn't accept payment over the phone, which made the process even more complicated. To make things worse, they mixed up the reservation time. They told us it was at 3:00 PM, but our confirmation texts clearly stated 2:00 PM. When we arrived at 2:00, the front-of-house staff was rude and told the waiter--right in front of us--that we had arrived too early, even after we showed proof of the confirmed time. That interaction really set the tone. We spend a lot of time in Beverly Hills and are used to high-end service, but this experience felt unnecessarily difficult and unwelcoming. We were debating between here and The Peninsula and chose this spot thinking it would feel more modern, but the entire reservation process and day-of experience were disappointing. In all honesty, the space itself wasn't as impressive as we expected either. By the end, the tea party itself was cute, and our waiter was very nice, but overall, none of us would recommend it or return.

The ambiance is beautiful, and the service FANTASTIC. Our server was an absolute gem, I am so sad I forgot it. The Roofop is the kind of spot that feels lively but still relaxed enough to enjoy a long dinner with friends. The food was good, though I've definitely had better for the price. Nothing was bad at all, just not quite as memorable as I expected. The drinks, however, were fantastic. I'm not much of a drinker, but I ordered a martini and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. Also, the coffee I happened to order a latte and no joke one of the top coffees I had. Lots of nice photo spots. I would love to come during the day and try their brunch. Between the vibe, the attentive service, and the great cocktails, we had a really fun night. I'd come back again, especially for drinks and the atmosphere.
