ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE. This was my first time at Steak 48 and everything was impeccable. I came here with my family to celebrate a special occasion. The employees were so friendly from the moment we walked in. The overall vibe is modern, classy, and intimate. I ordered the petite filet, mac n cheese, asparagus, and strawberry rhubarb drink. Everything was delicious! I am still dreaming about my steak. The manager, who I believe was named Sheree, went out of her way to make sure my family was having the best experience. Our waiter Derek was fantastic as well. Overall, this was one of the best experiences. I can't wait to come back!

Steak 48 is definitely one of my favorite steak houses. I bring guests from out of town, business meetings and celebrations. It's always a great time. But this last time I went for my birthday celebration, but was met with unpleasant service and was even served a drink with a broken glass. Literally the lime was used to cover the chip on the glass. Our server refused to take our whole order at one time and only wanted to take our app order and then take our entre orders when the appetizers all came out. This didn't really make sense to me and the table at all. Luckily, we spoke to Jay who was the manager at the location and he was able to smooth everything out. He took care of the broken glass, provided us extra drinks, and made sure our order was taken and brought out fast. Overall, I still recommend steak 48 and I know this one time bad experience is just a one off

We went here to celebrate our anniversary and the staff here took such great care of us. The interior is huge and gorgeous, each room is dimly lit and has such a warm ambience. They started us off with a hand written card congratulating us on our anniversary, offered us several types of water and our linen preference. We also ordered some drinks which they comped. We got the ny strip, whipped praline sweet potato, corn creme brulee, mac and cheese, and mash potatoes. Their croissant bread which is served on a small cast iron pan is delicious though it did take awhile to come. The portions were enough to share between us two with leftovers to take home. We also go the chocolate cake which was so decadent and rich. Loved going here and thanks to our server for making our anniversary special!

This was my second time coming here. First time wasn't as good, but my girlfriend and I decided to give it another shot. Overall a solid meal and we'd go back for sure. Food: 4/5 Food was really good! We got a bone in rib eye, Caesar salad, heirloom tomato salad and braised pork belly. And they of course give you the best complimentary bread. I'd go back just for the bread! So good! The steak was cooked ok, not great. But not as bad as the first time we went. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. I love the Caesar salad! The croutons are so good! And the heirloom tomato salad was basically two tomato's cut into four pieces with some feta. Not sure if that's what a normal heirloom tomato salad is, but I was expecting more. But overall a good meal. Service 3/5: our server did well, but the manager would come out to talk to only one table and was basically their second server and would walk right past us like we were invisible. Not sure if we weren't exclusive or wealthy enough to deserve a hello or any type of attention. Was a bit annoying seeing him come out to check on that one table like 5 times pouring their water and asking how the food is then would walk right past us. Very rude and unprofessional as a manager in my opinion. Ambiance 5/5: it's a nice restaurant for a date night. Overall 4/5

We tried Steak 48 as part of the chase sapphire reserve curated dining list. It is nice steak house located in Beverly Hills. We were able to find street parking in the neighborhood and walked a short distance to the restaurant. This was our first time there so we ordered a lot, and we left very full and satisfied. A nice steak house and glad we got to try a lot of dishes. Our server was helpful and provided us with a free order of mashed potatoes and a bottle of wine due to a mix up that happened with the one we ordered. Overall a very good experience and a solid steak house if you're looking for somewhere to have a nice dinner and/or celebrate a special occasion. We tried the bone in ribeye and dry aged ribeye. I honestly enjoyed the bone in ribeye more. The seabass was underwhelming, I would stick to the red meat here. The crab and shells, corn, and potatoes gratin were my favorites of the sides. The calamari and beef tartar were both good starters as well. A lot to choose from the menu! They also gave us a free dessert as we were celebrating a birthday. The cookies and cream popcorn sundae was a delicious way to end a great meal!

Once again Steak 48 absolutely delivers! The Beverly Hills Location is my fave and we come here for just about all of our special occasions Service, atmosphere and food is always top notch I absolutely love the variety of seating areas some of which are hidden which provides an intimate feel. Cannot say enough about the food, always fresh and well prepared. Good flavor and generally spot on, catered to our requests Live the pork chops, to the point they often trump my bone in rib eye from time to time You have to try the friend lobsters, as an appetizer they are a delight Steak 48 always tempts with their dessert and I will say the desserts are a can't miss you have to try them. Oh yes each dessert can be considered a work of art

We dined here for a celebratory meal. Parking was easy at the adjoining lot and we got our table within 15 minutes of checkin in - Thankfully , We had a reservation. The place is really lively and busy. We were seated in a nice personal booth. Server was very courteous and helpful in making good recommendations. They started us off with a complimentary bread - which was good. We got the Beet Salad which was very good too. The drinks are also awesome here. For Appetizers , We got the Crispy Shrimp, Yellowtail - Both were excellent and highly recommended. For the main course, We opted for RibEye and the Branzino. Branzino was very good. However, The Ribeye was over-cooked and not the way I would've liked. However, this being the last order of the day and too close to finish time, we could't have it changed. Disappointed that I couldn't enjoy my steak but everything else was great. Chocolate Dessert towards the end of meal was one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. Not too sweet, perfectly textured - Great. I would love to be back here and hope that they will make it right with my steak next time :)

Excellent, modern upscale steakhouse with wonderful food and service. The chicken fried lobster tails were a must. Ambiance was top notch. Paid parking lot (no validation) or valet parking available. Their signature heated plates were unique (the food still sears while you eat it) and a cool experience. Food- 5 stars Fresh bread- started the meal with their complimentary bread which was basically a much better version of a King's Hawaiian bread roll Chicken fried lobster tail- this dish got better and better as I kept eating it. Perfectly fried without the lobster meat getting too dry. Definitely coming back for this Caesar salad- really good and the poached egg on top really solidified the dish. You can really taste the quality ingredients Ribeye- I enjoyed having our entrees on their extremely hot heated plates, as the meat stayed warm. My only compliant with the ribeye was that it was slightly more chewy than what I expect from a prime cut Au gratin potatoes and wild mushrooms- excellently done, and the heated plates keep it warm and tasty Triple chocolate bombe- their signature dessert. It was fantastic and balanced without being too sweet. I couldn't get enough of it Service- 5 stars Wonderful service throughout. They really went above and beyond. Really enjoyed our meal Bottom Line Excellent, modern upscale steakhouse that just does everything so well and takes the extra steps to go above and beyond

    The bread is good

The food was pretty good, but the service was bad and the ambience tries too hard. I'll start with the good: the Crispy Shrimp Deviled Eggs ($24) were one of the best things I've had in ages. A perfect bite with crunch and flavor. The complimentary bread is served in a skillet with a crispy buttered top. I would just eat the too off that bread all day. I do feel like a lot of bread goes to waste likely judging from the people around me. The steak was good. Was it $85 good? Dunno. I ordered a petite filet and the server brought me the bone in aged ribeye which was much more expensive. I didnt complain because i had somewhere to be and it wasnt such a big mistake that i was going to die. But the service overall was terrible for a restaurant at this price point. The server forgot to give me back the food i asked to have wrapped up. I had to ask her for it. The menu took a long time to arrive. The service was sort of strangely stuffy but not professional at the same time. And if you walked to the bathroom get ready for speeding waiters to whisk around you like you're at a carnival. The bathrooms were way too dark - i get having the restaurant be too dark but the bathrooms should have enough light to see. Also a bathroom concierge had to let you know when one was available. And the worst was that as I was leaving the door guy was turning away a nicely dressed black man who was wearing a black sweater and discreet black leggings. I overheard him being told that sweatpants aren't allowed and I would have called it athleisurewear but they were black and not very gym bro like. I saw other people dressed much worse than him inside so it felt a little overly punitive and gives me all the bad vibes of what I think Beverly Hills can represent.

Love our booth overseeing the kitchen operation.

It's Tuesday night and we came for dinner. It's just amazing that the restaurant was pretty packed for a weeknight. The server brought us to our table right away. I love the luxurious and romantic vibe. We were seated in a booth overseeing the kitchen. How fun! The server came and introduced the menu. He recommended some popular appetizers and entrees. We had the crispy shrimp for appetizers, roasted Brussels sprouts. The dinner rolls were very special and delicious. For entree, we ordered the petit filet mignon and scallops. Every course was so nicely done. For dessert, we had the chocolate bomb mousse. The whole dinner was fantastic. I hope we will come back to try different entrees. Love this restaurant.

AMAZING !! 10/10 Ian our server was so helpful, respectful and had the most impeccable customer service I've ever experienced. The food quality , quantity and taste was out of this world everything was tasty and fresh ! The place is very nice and clean even the bathrooms the heated toilet seats are incredible lol Definitely will return and recommend!

I went in with just average expectations. We were there to celebrate a birthday, it was a restaurant my son had heard about (he's 13), and we made reservations and went. With every course we went from, "hey...this is good..." to "...oh, this might be a new place for us ..." to " this is our place and we are coming back soon!" Mid meal I started making a list in my notes app of what we wanted to try and re-order next visit. So, that notes app includes ... superfood salad, any steak specials they offer, lobster escargot, and all the desserts. We had decided on our entrees when we heard the specials and ordered one or two of those steaks at MP (shown in receipt). The restaurant is gorgeous, the bathrooms and bathroom attendant are amazing, they're serious about their dress code, and (don't kill me but) the bread tastes like Pillsbury crescent rolls. It was a great night, excellent service, and a new favorite steakhouse. Never thought we'd say it, but CUT down the street has some serious competition.

We love Steak 48 so we made a celebratory day trip to eat at this Beverly Hills location. The rib eye, filet mignon, mac and cheese, crème brûlée corn, fried shrimp and sauté shrimp was predictable bliss. I was sad I forgot to order the black peppercorn sauce!!! Their black truffle peppercorn sauce is a must when dining at Steak 48. The service here felt less personable but nothing was bad. The two gentlemen who opened our doors were super nice! I wish more of their positivity and good vibes could radiate inside as well.

Can I bring a birthday cake? What is the fee? (I don't plan to cut it, just take pictures with it)

Yes, we do allow guests to bring cakes for their special celebrations, however, we do require that the cakes meet the following requirements. Cakes may only be 12” or shorter in height. We also ask that the cake does not have any lewd, graphic or…

    What is the corkage fee?

It is $85 per 750ml bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per reservation. The wine cannot match the vintage on our wine list.

    Do you offer valet?

    Yes we do, for $16.

Can you wear nice jeans with a nice shirt?

    Absolutely!

    Is there a dress code?

Yes we do have a dress code. It is elegant casual. We just ask for no athletic wear.

    Cost to valet park?

    Sorry, I don't remember

Is "bar seating" only at the physical bar or is it high-top tables in a certain area? That's the only available rez and I'm wondering if it's fine to sit there

We have quite a few high-top tables as well.

Does the bar have any tvs to watch the baseball games tonight?

Yes they one. We sat outside but in the gallery shows a tv at the bar

Is there a happy hour during the week?!?

We do not have a happy hour.

Want to know are sides sharable for a party of 4?

    Yes, very shareable.

    Hows the parking?

Valet is $16 and there is street parking.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner in December. We had a very romantic table in your back bar room. What is the name of that room and do I need to make a reservation to sit at that small beautiful bar?

The room name is the Dominick's bar.

Do we need reservations or they take walk ins and what the dress code like?

Reservations are not required but definitely recommended. Our dress code is business casual, we just do not allow athletic wear, jerseys, sweatpants and items similar to those.

Is the restaurant kid friendly? Can I bring my 5 month old baby in a stroller?

Yes! I took my 3 month old and they were very accommodating

    How much is valet parking?

    $16

Is it true that you can request Kosher meat?

They have a kosher steak option on their standard menu. The meat comes from rabbis daughter.

    What is parking like?

You can valet or park on the street and pay the meter.

Do you have a patio? Do you allow dogs on the patio?

Hello! We do not have a patio.

Do they allow you to bring a small cake?

We do not allow outside cakes, although we can prepare a house made cake with enough notice. Please reach out to guestservicesbeverlyhills@steak48.com to discuss options. We look forward to seeing you.

    Do they have happy hour?

    I don't know.

Started the night with cocktails, and I can say, the Ambrosia is delicious. It has a tequila base with coconut cream and passion fruit. Just very good. The Light My Fire was a nice show as it cooked our and is kit on fire, but the first didn't match that is the Ambrosia. So, with DineLA, we were given bread and butter at the table. The bread was actually more they basic and had a nice flavor to it. For our appetizer, I ordered the steak tartar. On the menu, it had a lot going on with Dijon mustard, chili sauce, shallots, cognac, etc, but I can't say so if there ingredients were noticable in the flavor profile or on the pallet. But paying that on the potato crisps was still a decent bite. The salmon tartar was decent as well but didn't necessarily stand out. The real winner was the meat sushi with avocado cream and parmesan. Totally unexpected and very good! In terms of entrees, we tried a little of everything. I had the wagyu NY steak, cooked medium rare. It was cooked very well on the inside, could have had a better crust on the outside. And they give you your own side of kosher salt so you can "salt bae" it yourself. You also had a choice of side between mashed potatoes and mushrooms. I got the mushrooms and I'm very glad I did. They were very good with 2-3 tired of mushrooms in the medley. The prime NY steak was ok, it didn't really stand out, and the wagyu burger was also decent but, in Los Angeles, with so many great burgers, you really need to step your game up it you want to be noticed, and this burger did not accomplish that. With dessert, there were four options. I choose the San Sebastian Cheesecake, and, for our table, no one really loved it. It is definitely not your standard cheesecake, much less sweet and without that nice graham cracker crust you come to know and love. There was a chocolate sauce on half of it which gave it a little something extra, but it really was not a hit for our table. The pistachio baklava came with a show as the assembled it, but the energy of the show to assemble the baklava was better then the baklava itself. Overall, a nice experience, staff was nice and attentive to our take and our needs, but the food just didn't hit as we all hoped it would.

Those 2 people both get the following: bone broth- wow. Loved it Steak Tartare - so much, we couldn't finish braised beef cheek - practically melted like butter 3 oz filet with salad - by the time this came we thought they were playing. It felt like a proper entree, but there was more meat coming. We then shared an 11 oz ribeye w/ grilled broccolini and ended with the chocolate cake. In conclusion, we got so much food. We came to Matū for the Dinner for Two, and everything we were served was impeccable. The seasoning was spot on, the salt level was perfect, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of my steak on the rarer side, and Matū absolutely delivered. The braised beef cheek was probably the highlight of the night for me. It was unbelievably tender, rich, and one of the most memorable bites of the meal. After finishing the Dinner for Two, which really showcased the quality of the meat, we decided to split a cheesesteak since "that's what they're known for." When it arrived, it looked incredible. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The meat tasted oddly oily. I'm not sure if it was the cut, the preparation, or even the cheese, but it came across as heavy and greasy compared to the beautifully simple, clean flavors of the steak dinner. It was also underseasoned, and I found myself tasting the sesame seeds on the bread more than the filling itself. The chips were fresh and crunchy at first, but they lost their texture surprisingly quickly, so eat those immediately. Overall, I absolutely loved the steaks, sides, and cocktails, and I'll happily be back for those. But as for the cheesesteak? Once was more than enough.

We had a reservation and valet parked, but our table wasn't ready yet, so we sat at the bar to grab a cocktail. The bartender was AMAZING. I wish I had gotten his name because he was probably one of the best parts of our experience. While we were sitting there talking to him, the host called my name. I gave him a little wave to let him know I heard him and was just waiting for our drinks and needed to close out our tab. Instead, he came over and stood right next to me while we waited. It felt really awkward, almost like I was in trouble or being rushed to get up. I explained again that we were waiting for our drinks and needed to pay, but he continued standing there. The bartender actually had to step in and tell him that once he closed us out, we would meet him at the host stand. It was just such an uncomfortable way to start dinner. Once we were seated, our waitress was very sweet and overall did a great job. We ordered oysters, prime rib medium rare, lobster, asparagus, and a loaded baked potato. Sadly, the best things we ate were the baked potato and asparagus. I ordered my prime rib medium rare, but when it arrived it was completely brown with basically no pink at all. We also weren't given steak knives, so we were trying to cut into this very well-done piece of prime rib without the proper knife. The lobster was also extremely overcooked. I could barely cut into it, and unfortunately it didn't have much flavor either. That was probably the most surprising part because I actually own several of Lawry's seasonings at home and expected the food to be full of flavor. For a restaurant with Lawry's reputation, especially when you're celebrating a birthday and expecting a special dinner, the proteins were extremely disappointing. The atmosphere was great, the bartender was wonderful, and our waitress was kind, but based on the food itself, I really can't see myself wanting to come back.

Overall, nothing was particularly extraordinary, but the drinks were definitely the highlight. I'd skip the pasta and salad, but the burrata and pizza were good. I also really enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was attentive throughout the evening. Overall, a nice spot, but I'd come back more for the atmosphere and drinks than the food.

My mom said when she comes for dinner they always give her a booth, but it seemed like today for brunch they were only for parties of 3+. Martinis (3.5/5): my mom enjoyed her martinis, I thought my espresso martini was just ok. Oysters (4/5): tasty and fresh. Mushroom Pizza (3/5): cooked well, but wasn't very flavorful. BLAT (3/5): fries were good, but the sandwich itself was very basic and didn't have much flavor, could use garlic aioli. Tiramisu (1/5): I love tiramisu and this was the worst one I've ever had, they need to fix the mascarpone cream flavor. Overall this place is just for the vibes, it would be good for happy hour or going for a drink at sunset. Food is very overpriced and wasn't a fan of the automatic 20% gratuity. Our server was great though.

She went and discussed my issues with the Chef and basically they came up with the perfect solution. I had the Salmon over sticky rice and it was delicious! Definitely going to order this next time. 5 star service by Isabel and the chef. 5 star for delicious food. 5 star environment.

Steak was ok, temp was nice, ribeye was soft and tender almost felt like souvee tender, not a lot of intramuscular marbling for a ribeye and only about an inch thick and not a lot of meaningful crusting. I should have tried the bone in one. The sushi roll was just ok. Something that a good sushi chef needs to fix as i felt the quality came from, shall i say a convenience store. Maybe if we dine here again, we'll have to try something else. The place was nice, ambiance was nice, the waitstaff was nice, and help was always on top of their game. The gentleman greeter in a suit was nice and pleasant. Overall, just a comparison based on what we ate, some place named something with a number 48 nearby was better, especially when it comes to steak. The truffle Mac was memorable. Everything else we ordered was ok. For me, bottom line, I felt the food could use a little uplift.

Add live music and a room full of energy, and you've got the kind of atmosphere that encourages you to stay longer than planned. There are plenty of restaurants with great views and plenty with great food. The Penthouse at Mastro's delivers both, which is why it remains one of my favorite spots for a classic Los Angeles night out. You feel like you are on vacation. This place might have been a hotspot a decade ago, but it clearly hasn't kept up. We came as a party of six and every single person left disappointed, which says a lot. The biggest issue was the food quality. We ordered a wide range of items, including sushi, steaks, sides, and dessert -- and not one dish impressed. Service however was great - 2 stars for that .  Both sushi dishes had to be sent back, which is already a bad start for a restaurant of this caliber. The steaks, which should be the highlight, were underwhelming and but not terrible. Sides didn't redeem the experience either, infact the lobster mac and cheese, in particular, was shockingly bad. It tasted like microwaved Kraft with a tiny, almost nonexistent piece of lobster. Our favorite item on the menu was the bread basket and bone marrow.  Even dessert fell flat, which is rare to mess up but somehow still happened. For a group of self-proclaimed food lovers, this was genuinely surprising -- and not in a good way. There are far better options at this price point. Steak 48 easily outshines Mastro's in both quality and execution, and even BOA along with BLVD deliver a more consistent and enjoyable experience. Overall, a VERY disappointing night and absolutely not worth the price point. You're better off literally in any steakhouse but this one.

Shortly after I sat down, the manager approached us and made us feel like we needed to leave. His attitude was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Instead of politely explaining the situation or treating us like valued customers, he made our family feel unwelcome and rushed. For a restaurant in Beverly Hills, I expected much better hospitality and customer service. A manager should know how to speak to guests with respect, regardless of how long they have been seated. Unfortunately, his behavior ruined the experience for our entire family. I would not recommend this place based on the way we were treated. I forgot his name. He was wearing a black suit and my server told me, he is one of the managers.

On their website it stated that the $25 Saturday girl brunch deal was available till 4pm so we came at 3:35pm for our 3:30pm reservation. However, the hostess that sat us told us at 3:42 that their kitchen stopped serving this deal at 3:45. We were a confused, disappointed and feeling a bit misled. After some debate my friends and I almost left but they made an exception for us to get the deal which was very kind of them. Our server Bo was also extremely kind and lifted our spirits! He seriously made the brunch more special and enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully they can make the availability of the deal more clear for others cause it can be really frustrating to make the trip to this restaurant just for the information online to be false.Other wise, I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. - valet or street parking - Small and large group seating - Indoor and outdoor seating

Brunch was $25 each person and included a starter, an entree and a dessert. They also have $10 mimosas with lots of juices to choose from. The staff was so friendly and attentive. They started us off with chips and salsa which was so good! Then we had our first round of mimosas, I got cranberry for my first two rounds and then switched over to an espresso martini with whiskey (and if you haven't tried it YOU MUST!) Not just here but everywhere! For my starter I got the berries and cream which I usually don't do but it was so good I'm glad I went outside of my box. The Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries were amazing. For my entree, I ordered the French Toast, I did not realize it was stuffed with some sort of apricot or fruit jam and was not the biggest fan of this. For dessert I went with the churros and was left feeling a bit let down. The churros needed salt to bring out the sweetness, they tasted a bit bland and the sauce that came with did not add to the flavors. Overall because it's such a cute place, the drinks are good and priced decently as well as having a large enough menu where the next visit I feel I could choose something different I would 10/10 go back. So stay tuned for the follow up review!

The hostess was super kind and led us to a table right next to a beautiful olive tree in the main seating area, which made for a very comfortable vibe and a lovely view. Our server, Levi, provided outstanding service throughout the night and was super knowledgeable and attentive. He was honestly the main reason we had such a lovely time, as his energy was great and he was constantly checking in on us and making sure we were satisfied with everything. To drink, we had the Yuzu Whiskey Sour and the Melrose Passionfruit Martini, both of which were refreshing, delicious, and paired well with our food selection. I also had a Raspberry Breeze mocktail, which was sweet, tart, and bubbly! To eat, we started with the Rock Shrimp, which had a great spicy flavor and crunch to it. We also tried the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, which I liked, but I think the price on this item is a little steep, and you might be better off ordering another roll or menu item. For rolls, we ordered the Crunchy, the Tiger, the Lemon, and the Killer. Of these, my favorite had to be the Killer, as it was super fresh and had a great kick to it. Chef Salvador graciously sent over some Bluefin Tuna and Yellowtail nigiri for my partner and me to try, and it was such a thoughtful gesture and delicious treat for us. We were also kindly given a key lime pie to end our meal and celebration on a sweet note. The presentation for everything was lovely, and I really enjoyed the little radish stars! Overall, the fish is among the best and freshest I've had, the drinks are great, and the service is unmatched; I truly felt catered to and cannot wait for my next experience here!
