    Dessert at a luncheon Yum.
    Judy N.

i am part of an organization that has monthly lunch meetings at this hotel. The Lunch room is private, a nice size and first class. White tablecloth service, servers bring out meals (one meal) but fresh and not Buffet style like most in town. At the most recent meeting, we had seared ahi tuna nichoise salad. It was very upscale for a lunch meeting. for dessert, something I really kind of dulche de ledge dessert, pictured. Everything is always prepared and cooked really well with the best ingredients. I love this place for our monthly meetings - each time a different meal and dessert but always first class.

Absolutely upsetting. Everything was going well. But when i found out that the front desk staff held a box of fish for my other colleague to keep in the freezer and we were denied i was extremely perturbed. Yes its racial. I don't need to go into details, but im sure anyone with the right mindset can paint that simple picture. Extremely unacceptable. Disgusting please do better

There's a restaurant and a café, a nice fitness center, and the rooms are spacious and have refrigerators (a necessity for both of us).

We had to stay in the hotel lobby for 5+ hours since our flight didn't take off until 1am. They didn't give us a hard time at all. They helped us with a shuttle. Alicia even offered my bf a blanket while we waited! The food at the bar was yummy and cheap! The room was clean and the location is central to everything. Would stay here again!

Hyatt House Anchorage is a solid property for a trip to Anchorage. While not located near the…read moredowntown area, it is not so far removed that it is an inconvenience to drive downtown to walk around and eat. With plenty of parking on-site it made it very convenient as a base of operations. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the shower temperature and pressure was perfect. The pull-out bed was super uncomfortable but the couch was great. It is not necessarily a quiet location as drivers speed down the road at stupid speeds but so far haven't found a hotel in Anchorage that can avoid that. The little restaurant is nice in a pinch. They have the standard fare that other Hyatt Houses with this menu has. I don't know why but I really enjoy it even knowing it arrives frozen and is stuck in a microwave. But I find that pizza to be oddly comforting and a tendency to put me in a calm mental state - but that's a me thing. I don't expect others to understand. It was a great hotel for the stay. Solid. Dependable.

We had a really long drive on 5/15/2026, and checked in around 6 pm and Eurina L, was pleasant and friendly, and made us feel welcome! While I had booked my room through a third- party company, she found our reservation and was able to change us from a king bed to two double beds. That's great customer service. She even asked us what floor we would like to be on. I think she could see how tired we were from driving, so she gave us a nice room on the1st floor which was very convenient - since we knew we would be coming and going from our truck to our room. She made a great choice.. we were close to our vehicle so we didn't have to walk far to unpack our vehicle. Our room was cozy with a heater and an air conditioner. The beds were comfortable and there was great water pressure for the shower. Thank you to Eurina for making our evening welcoming and enjoyable. A second shout out to Boyd, at breakfast. Boyd was busy giving all the patrons their requests. I only saw him at breakfast and he was working hard but he was still friendly and helpful. He actually cared you could tell, that we got exactly what we needed for breakfast. The fruit was great and the hot meal was tasty. Thank you to both Eurina and Boyd for the hospitality. We appreciate you!!

Unfortunately everything is a bit outdated and musty here. There was a strange smell throughout the hotel at all times. The lobby is large and beautifully decorated, very on brand for Alaska. My room was decently clean, but smelled horrible. And I mean horrible. I do have a cat so I stayed in a pet friendly room, however it smelled like a wet dog lay all over the beds and no one cleaned it. I had to keep the window open my entire stay for my own survival. The staff was very nice! That's the biggest plus in this hotel. They are also have two restaurants and a coffee bar so you don't have to travel far for a quick meal.
