My reply to John M. below under my first review. First of all there was no misunderstanding from my part, I'll tell you why...Bill wrote an estimate with the description of the windows we discussed. I went to your store to verify the description of the windows and to look at your floor samples of the windows on the estimate. Jessica showed me all the windows and doors that Bill had on the estimate including the bronze fiberglass windows that you have on display as I wanted to see the shade of bronze. You have continuesly blamed Bill for an incorrect estimate, you now claim that the description of the windows is not fiberglass but Tuscany and that the price has changed. Yet about a month ago, I received a call from your employee Linda, asking if I was ready to proceed with the rest of the windows. She never mentioned that the estimate was no longer in effect or a price increase. I decided to contact Bill to be sure that the estimate was still good. I asked him to give me a price for the remaining windows and he replied "you have the estimate those are the prices". I contacted Linda to place the order and she referred me to Jessica. Once I started communicating with Jessica the ordeal that I experienced the first time was repeating again (she also kept sending an estimate with the wrong items). As you can see your staff had already shown me the fiberglass windows since the estimate was originated. If the estimate was incorrectly written, this is a reflection of an incompetent staff. All inconveniences I've experienced to this date, it's a demonstration of the lack of professionalism, organization and communication. I'll give you a professional suggestion you should have your staff follow up with the customer after every estimate provided. Great experience with the installation of two windows in my front living room 'Dave the estimator came out and was knowledgeable and courteous and followed up to see if I had any questions. The office staff followed up and provided updates on the production timeline and in setting up the appointment to install the windows. The installers were professional and courteous and personable. I ultimately didn't purchase windows from TWG, however wanted to comment on the in-home estimate process. Of all the companies that came out, I was most impressed with TWG, the gentleman that came out was very quick, very honest, and most importantly not pushy at all. Their prices were the cheapest as well, however I ultimately went with another company simply because I did not want Milguard or Simonton windows. The other companies, including the one I went with, played the used-car sales tactics. It's amazing how fast $4500 comes down to $3500. I don't like that, and I don't like how other companies refuse to price things out individually. TWG writes things up very cleanly, so that at the end of the day, after speaking with 10 other window companies, you can sit down and figure out the cost if you decide to eliminate a few windows to save some money. If I were going with either of the two windows (I like Simonton better than Milguard) I would not hesitate to give TWG the business. read more

No problems at all with our window replacement. Pleased with the service and the price. Bill came out to take window measurements, we selected our windows and placed a down payment. The installers arrived on time, and before we knew it, we had new windows. Totally gave our house a much-needed facelift! The whole process could not have gone more smoothly. Window guys installed the windows 2 years ago. Since the condo is so close to beach, the seal wore off quickly and leaked during the recent rain. There is another storm coming, I need to have them sealed asap. Called office, Jessica was very helpful, talked to owner John. John worked around the schedule and squeezed me in before the storm. I just had 7 windows replaced at my home. I have older home that was built in 1950's. I had just purchased and my windows were horrible.! I called around for some estimates and when the salesman David came by from the window guys he was very professional and explained everything. I was extremely happy with the price. the day of the installation the installers were at my house by 8 Am as scheduled. Luis and Alex they are the most hard working guys, they did a fantastic job I am so pleased with them. they picked up everything from the removal of all the old windows and cleaned up everything. I just had my windows replaced by this company. I made an appt. 2 weeks in advance to install because THEY wanted to make sure I'd be there. So, the day of the installation comes and they NEVER SHOWED UP. I called and the woman tells me they are stuck on another job! I told her I took a day off with no pay to make sure I was here for them. She didn't offer any discount to make up for that. She was just "sorry." I guess it's easy when it's not YOUR paycheck. I am happy with the windows and the actual installation . The price was neither good nor bad . Seemed average. I need more new windows but I won't be going back. Had she offered me even a small discount for thier mistake they would have made a few more thousand off me! read more

Poor company - poor work. They installed all my windows and missed one. They didn't leave any leave behinds nor a receipt. They took my money though. I called and called. They gave me the run around for months - then rescheduled and didn't show up or follow up at all. They ignore my calls and complaints into their website. Its been more months and nothing. Abandoning a job is just like theft. Please do not let this happen to you. Now I have to go to small claims court. UGH. Look elsewhere, please. read more

The Window Guys installed 19 replacement windows & a sliding door at my house in 2011 (sorry for the late review). Jaz came out and gave the estimate. Everything was up front. I got a total of 5 estimates. They came down in price to match a competitor that was quoting another product. For what I got, they were the most reasonable. I'm very glad I went with the Milgard Tuscany series. Almost 2 years later, windows have been excellent and very easy to open/close. We couldn't be happier with the Milgard sliding door. Love the well designed latch. Installation on everything was outstanding (very clean look). I had a positive experience with The Window Guys and would recommend them to others. read more

I recently replaced all the windows at my house with the Milgard Tuscany series windows. I got 3 quotes and TWG was the lowest. David came out to the house to get me an estimate and he showed up when he said he would. He measured the windows. We scheduled an installation date and the guys came out and installed the windows just as they said they would. Everyone at TWG's was professional and courteous. The installations was clean and correct with no issues. Everything went off without a hitch. No issues, just good quality windows at an affordable price, done when they said and how they said. This is the worst company ever. They don't follow through when they say. The workmen were nice enough but left a mess. When they put down tarps it was only directly under the window, so they tracked dirt and debris all over my house. I had to clean several stains out of the carpet. read more

I just had 10 window installed, including an dual slider and am very happy with the work and process. David, the salesman, quoted me a good price, lower than others I got to begin with. Then, it turned out that I got another $420 off of that when the installers were able to do the installs without the extra labor cost that I expected. The installers were prompt and quick. I had my home windows installed in April 2015, the guys did a terrific job!!! Their installers were neat, courteous, and respectful. I was very happy with the install. In July, one of the windows had an issue with the adhesive used on the frame of the window. I immediately called the Window Guys to report the issue. I was told that the window would be taken care of, and they would call me with an appointment time and date to fix the window. After 2 weeks of not hearing from them, I called for an update, I was informed I was on their work schedule and I would be hearing from them soon. Two more weeks passed and I had not heard back, I placed another call. I was told I would hear from them within the week. Another week passed and no "fix it" date had been scheduled. It took 2 months for my window to be fixed. Each time I called they said they were booked with new installations and did not have anyone available for a quick repair. My gut feeling tells me, they are too anxious to get paid for the new jobs, so they can let the already paid installations wait on the back burner. Not a good way to treat your customers. I had every window in my home done, I guess they figured there was no more money to be made at my house so there was no hurry to repair my window. read more
