The parts of the winery I did see were beautiful. The house served as a Civil War hospital, then a home and now winery since 2006. I didn't get a chance to view upstairs or out back because I spent my entire time there in the tasting room. I was told upstairs has some parlours with seating for a more private experience. The outside view is beautiful with multiple tables to sit and enjoy wine and live music on the weekends. Mary, a fellow educator, took excellent care of me when I arrived! She was so warm and friendly and did a great job of explaining all the wines and helping me find wines that fit my preference. I ended up joining their wine club and left with 8 bottles. I also got to meet Flurry one of the staff member's dog. Everyone was so friendly and I'm excited to return with some friends!

You're in for a barrel of fun and an extensive wine education at this stately and immense winery. The wine tasting room is big and comfortable, we had an amazing wine connoisseur, Zach, who taught us so much about the varied wines. He was funny and informative! Loved the quirky corky menu for a festive touch! We loved the Viognier, Virginia's signature grape! The Cabernet Franc Reserve was a casual wine that we were told would be great with pizza and Netflix! The coppery Cabernet Sauvignon was peppery and slightly dry which we liked! The Chardonnay subtle unique; more than oak and buttery, Zach said if you want just oak and butter, rub Land O' Lakes on a tree! Lol! The light Merlot "greets you at the front door" and cherry bombs you! Carmenere almost went extinct; thank you Chile for bringing it back! The wines were superb and we brought several bottles back home! The prices were reasonable and the experience was phenomenal! We thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed every moment at this lively winery and can't wait to return!

The family had a whole play set out with toys and what not. I am a mother and this was supposed to be a getaway for me, not a family function with all the kiddos. The amount of overstimulation in here was unmatched, im not even this overstimulated with my own toddler. I am very disappointed as I was traveling to visit family... the workers said NOTHING to this family, they also didn't apologize for allowing this type of customer into their establishment. NOT TO MENTION... we walked in and were not greeted in the slightest. In fact it felt as though we were ignored. The workers were not apologetic at all and I will not beg for an apology, will NEVER come here again. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE TRYING TO RELAX. You might as well buy some wine you haven't tried before and buy some cute glasses and have your own wine tasting at home. To the workers, if you are not able to acknowledge workers while helping others, you need to take a class in customer service or find a new job and also learn how to read a room. Respectfully...

Booking the tour was easy, I did it all on their webpage. Communication prior to event with DiVine staff member Amy was clear and concise. I was confident in the plan , the lunch orders, the schedule etc. I love how the tour made the day easy and relaxing for us! Melissa picked us up promptly at our AirBnb Cottage. Our first stop was Zephaniah Winery. It is a sweet and gorgeous family operated business. The family is super friendly and amazing! We adored talking to Bonnie! She shared about the history and also we admired her colorful flowers she has planted all around. The wines at Zephaniah were exquisite! Our second stop was Williams Gap Vineyards. It was definitely a beautiful ambiance with friendly staff. We loved how cozy, innovative, and spacious the place is! Melissa was an amazing tour guide! She always checked in on us, made sure all was going great, she took great pictures of the special day! I highly recommend DiVine tours!

We had some last minute additions and she was very accommodating and efficient. Once we were picked up by our driver, Natalie, we were on our way. She was timely and communicated with me ahead of time. Additionally, she was accommodating to my demanding group who needed temperatures adjusted (this was early August) and music selections (she asked if anyone had a playlist). All of the vineyards were immaculate. The last vineyard had not updated their records to reflect our late additions, but that was not on DiVine. Pictures were taken, Natalie engaged without being creepy and communicated throughout the tour. I honestly cannot wait to do this again.
