Came here after watching a movie at Union Square. Got the fish and chips which was great. Fish was piping hot and the batter came out extremely crunchy. The Gina na d tonic was perfect and fragrant. Our bartender was friendly and kept the service running smoothly. Will be back!

Walked in today at 4:17pm to watch a 4:25 Bills game. Was sat at a high top for 2 since 2 of us. When I asked for a lower table, the waiter with gray long hair and glasses rudely said, we expect to be "full" so he couldn't sit us at 4-top. It was five minutes before the game started dude, when are you going to be full?! I asked for a table in room towards the back - he said it's closed. Understood but the place was practically empty (except for the bar) with many tables empty. He asked for a credit card to start a tab when I ordered one non-alcoholic drink & didn't even finish looking at the menu. I asked to pay in cash as I'm not comfortable re bar tabs because recently had a fraud situation on my card. He snapped back to just order at the bar! THEN, the tables remained empty for the entire game including the one we asked for AND he sat 2 other customers at a 4-top when he told us that he couldn't. I work in hospitality and this waiter was the rudest person I ever encountered at a bar/restaurant. I'm a Bills fan & a NYC tour guide. I WON'T be going back to the Winslow & will NOT refer any of my friends or clients there. I was there once before & a different waiter was friendly but the food (except for fries) is not good. And mocktail should be in a tall glass for $12.

Hosted my birthday here! Planning a birthday/large reservation in the city can be such a pain. The Winslow made it so easy!! They had so many different options for different sized groups. I loved the back room for my group of about 20 friends. The space was perfect for my witchy Halloween-themed birthday. Our waitress was incredible and so kind! The minimum spend was extremely affordable, and the separate checks made things easy for people who don't drink! Already thinking of another party to host here!

I came here for happy hour on a Friday. Our server was very friendly. They offer an $8 happy hour gin & tonic special. The flavor of the day was grapefruit. The cocktail had a dried grapefruit garnish but otherwise, the flavor didn't really come through. To eat, we had the veggie chili nachos. They were loaded with bean chili, cheese sauce, sour cream, and pickled jalapeños. The tortilla chips were thick, house style and held up well even with all the toppings. It was hearty and a good portion size. We added guacamole for $2 extra. We also had the mac and cheese with jalapeños. They used shell pasta. The jalapeños were fresh and crunchy but they weren't spicy at all. The dish was topped with buttery bread crumbs that added nice texture.

I came here again for a Sunday Buffalo Bills game and had such a fun time! Fantastic game day bucket special, delicious bites, pretty decor, great crowd, kind staff, sound on the TVs- I'll be back!

Jessica Rabbit (far); A Walk in the Dark (near). Both 10/10

My partner and I were in the neighborhood and saw this spot had some pretty interesting cocktails (as well as great reviews on Yelp), so we decided to check it out, and we were so happy we did! We ended up actually getting two rounds, with our favorite cocktails being the Jessica Rabbit and A Walk in the Dark. The real star was the cheese curds though (we were hungry and wanted a snack) - they were some of the best we've had at any bar! Service was friendly as well - and we will def be returning some time in the near future (potentially for one of their HHs).

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

We started with the steak tartare with Melba toast and caviar. For entrees we had the creamy cavatelli with maitake and squash. We finished off with a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding served with bourbon vanilla ice cream and crunchy toffee pieces. We loved the grandeur of the space and the cozy fireplace. It makes for an ideal business dinner setting

Every single corner is decorated. I appreciated how much space there was to sit at the bar, which is open seating. The cocktail list was a bit shorter than I expected and had some odd ingredients (salsa verde, soy sauce, etc) but my espresso martini was really balanced. We were less of a fan of the frozen hugo spritz, but it was definitely refreshing given the heat outside. One to check out if you appreciate a quirky atmosphere!

We timed their summer's Alice in Wonderland theme and was not disappointed. Our group of 15 was situated in the room just when walked in from the front entrance . Not has the privacy we wanted, not has sitting comfort we expected , not the best food we waited but delighted to be with the most decorative backdrop. We had a delay on our food service, had a mixed up to few orders, there was one extra charge for drinks not accounted by our group hostess until after the stay and was not assisted to our expectation level. Nevertheless, the experience was lovely .
