Every time I've been here, I've had excellent service, delicious food, and the portions were enormous. Literally come here anytime I'm in the Corvallis area. Amazing Tom Ka Gai. Very friendly waitperson, but she was the only server/bartender there. My friend ordered the pad Thai and I ordered the drunken noodle. We also ordered chicken wontons, crab rangoons and veggie dumplings. The serving sizes are massive, but that is about it. It was extremely lackluster as Thai food goes. Very sad because I really wanted it to be a spectacular find. I was scoping it out because I wanted to bring a large group there, so I'm glad I went to check it out first. Pleasantly surprised. Papaya salad, Tom yum soup and basil greenbeans hit the mark. Be careful with the spiciness. 3 is like an inferno and I like it spicy. The food here was awful. My friend and I ordered Pad See Ew and Pad Thai, respectively. Both dishes were horrible. Yes, you do get incredibly large portion sizes, but I only took about four bites and had them toss the remainder (same with my friend). It was an incredible waste of food/money. I even told the waitress about how horrible the food was and she didn't apologize or express any concern. We still ended up paying for it. On top of that, one of the other servers tried to make it up by giving me fried rice to go, but that was even worse--another horrible dish. I don't know how the other food tastes, but take it from an Asian person: the Thai/Chinese food is NOT good (unless you don't mind inauthentic Asian food). Service was good and cook time was short, but the low review here is about the food. The sauce used in the dish was strong and had a good sweetness to it. However, the dish was drowning in the sauce and I couldn't taste anything else. Dish was extremely light on vegetables. Found a couple pieces of green onion, carrots, and cabbage among the noodles. Amount of chicken was a good ratio for the food. With the strength of the sauce couldn't taste any of the vegetables or chicken when I picked them out from how strong the sauce was. The portions were large which I feel justify the prices, just wish the food also reflected the price. Would try again hoping that it was just an off day. read more

This place is great for comfortable thai food. It's certainly not traditional but the food is good. If you claim to be a thai food fan and you only eat pad thai, it's time to man up and eat something real. This restaurant is the perfect place to do it. So this place just blew me away! The Thai food is the best I have ever had. Period. Between 3 people we got: yellow curry, pad tai and vegetable stir fry. If you know anything about Philomath, it seems weird to have a Thai restaurant in the middle of a logging town. But this is GOOD food. I get the Pad See Ewe every time and it is always phenomenal. My husband, not a giant Thai food fan, gets the turkey Reuben and loves it, and the kids split a chicken strip plate with no problems. (Incidentally, without admitting I've stolen food from children, the chicken strips are deliciously crispy, moist, and flavorful.) There's always more than enough food per plate. The one time there was a problem with my order, it was taken back with horror and the cook herself came out with a new dish and profuse apologies. I was even treated to some free house-made coconut ice cream afterward. I would never have thought I liked coconut ice cream, but it's great! Try some when you visit! read more

Ok, this place is kind of odd, it's American/Thai. Sandwiches and Thai food. That said, this was pretty good food. It had a kind of local feel, and isn't really a stand out Thai place. I heard this used to be a biker bar of some type before the new management took it over. I went here for a business lunch. Two of us ordered Yakisoba, one ordered a sandwich, and then a curry dish of some kind. The food was surprisingly good. I haven't been to other Thai restaurants around Corvallis, in fact this was my only meal there, but the food was definitely above expectations. Definitely worth a repeat visit. May be I'll try the sandwich next time. :) read more

We used to love this place but it seems to be going downhill. Every time that we go there is only one wait person, that is ridiculous. She works hard but it isn't right. My partner and I were driving to the beach and stopped in for lunch. We were the only customers at the time. The service was prompt. The number of pages in the menu is daunting, but we settled on spicy fried rice and green curry. It arrived quickly and we were quite pleased. The spicy fried rice was redolent with Thai basil and was pleasantly spiced. The curry dish was excellent and served on a bed of rice noodles since my partner is gluten free. The owner and head chef Nang came out and sat with us for a while and we enjoyed talking with her. I lived in Thailand and know Thai cuisine and this is excellent! My only recommendation is that they trim down the menu and reorganize it. But, we will be back! read more

Very good food in a sawmill themed joint. This place is like an urban legend. I like it better than the Thai places in Corvallis. I haven't tried their non-Thai menu. The portions are tremendous and the entrees are a good value simply by a price to calorie ratio. The food is delicious and you'll be glad to have gotten 3 or 4 meals out of your one entree. I heard from the librarian down the road that the newest owners are Thai, hence the dichotomy of burgers & curries. Why haven't I been going to this place for years? Stopped in last night with the SO for dinner in the middle of a driving rain storm. Service was fast and attentive. At the Yelposphere's advice, I had the Drunken Noodles, and she had the pad thai. Best darn Thai food in the valley, for sure. The servings were huge, delicious, and tasted fresh. We decided to save room for dessert by packing up half our dinner (it made a great breakfast this morning). Right choice. The coconut ice cream with mango and sticky rice is divine. This is probably the best Thai place in the Corvallis/Philomath area. They have a large variety of Thai dishes and I particularly enjoy their salad rows, chicken satay with peanut sauce and Thai soups. The only area that could use some improvement is the number of staff during busy hours, be ready for a long waiting time. Having said that, servers were always friendly and polite. read more

Not bad at all. Best thing on the Thai menu is the Thom Kha Gai soup, but you must share with a group. If everything was that good I would give it 5 stars. The rest of the food is only so so on the Thai scale but the cute little Loatian owner is so sweet, the service is great and the price is right, I give it one $ cause you can definitely share with a friend or two (once shared soup and pad thai with 3 others and we went home with leftovers). I drove by it once -- actually twice -- before deciding to turn around and give it a try. From the outside it looks semi-sketchy but don't let it deceive you. The inside isn't the most updated but it doesn't matter; the food is amazing. The room is divided into two parts - the bar and the family-friendly dining area. I ordered the chicken pad thai (during the lunch hour) and the portion was just as big as a dinner portion, but for like almost half the price. This was definitely not what I expected. A Thai restaurant in what seems to be an old logging tavern along the highway. The name of the restaurant in no way reflects the cuisine, but we we pleasantly surprised. Nice waitress and good food -- huge portions compared to the Thai places in Portland/Gresham. Flavors were like what your grandmother would cook -- recipes passed down to the next generation. Left full and happy with plenty of leftovers for another meal. read more
