We had a group meal on the second floor. Meal was amazing. The service was great too. The room was perfect for our group size and there was a great view of the river and street below. The squash hummus app I had was delicious, seasonal, and unique!

This is a well positioned restaurant that has amble outdoor seating which is perfect on a warm day in Dublin. The food menu is not what I'd call traditional Irish food -- seems to be more inspired by the US (Austin zones to mind for both the feel and taste of the place). Food is nicely presented, and service is professional. I went at lunch time on a Monday and so was not too busy. No problem getting a table.

We came here for dinner one night. We started with a round of drinks, then had a burger, nachos, and steak for dinner. The food was surprisingly good for how it appeared. I was hesitant to order the nachos, but they were actually some of the best nachos we had while in Dublin. The place was cute and well kept and the staff were all really nice.

Cute spot on the corner. Amazing and friendly staff. Tried the gnocchi (10/10), Cesar salad and Fig cinnamon old fashion (on the sweeter side which I like).

It's been over a month since I've been back in America and I still think about this meal. I had lots of good food while visiting Ireland and this by far was my favorite. Service was great and super cute. When I go back to Ireland I'm definitely going back.

Came here for lunch and enjoyed my meal. I got a table by the front window which has a nice view of Ha'penny Bridge. I got the chicken Caesar sandwich and it was delicious. They brought a whole carafe of water (which as an American I appreciated) and came back to check on me multiple times. The sandwich tasted very fresh and I enjoyed it. Overall I was satisfied with my experience

I was at the Woollen Mills on 08/01/2022(01/08/22 august) and we had the best meal! The beetroot hummus alone has me going back tonight for my last meal in Dublin. The staff are super friendly and helped us celebrate my friends birthday, without us asking, but just by a casual reminder to myself that it was his bday at midnight! It was lovely. They brought us a brownie topped with caramel ice cream! Definitely recommend!

When I went I got a chicken Caesar salad and a margarita pizza. The food was decent nothing too different. I was disappointed at the service! The waitress who seated my boyfriend and I was quite rude. She only came to take my order once and never came back. I only drink water usually and she never came back to refill my water once. When I asked her for a box she seem frustrated and again never came back to give me a to go box or check in on my meal! My boyfriend had to go to the front to pay. Interestingly enough no where in Ireland asked for us to leave tip. The host asked my boyfriend "how much rio would you like to leave?". We regretfully informed him 0 because of the poor service.

Such a cute little place, right in the heart of Dublin! Great ambience and a really nice menu. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. I would recommend the mushroom sandwich, and of course the chicken wings.

Menu has a good selection of Irish dishes from seafood chowder up to lamb stew and pies. We ordered the potato soup, seafood chowder, 'banjo' burger with onion rings. The soups arrived first and the seafood chowder was loaded with huge pieces of fish, potatoes (not many) with a creamy rich base. Flavor was incredible and in itself a full meal. Served in a large crock style bowl. The potato soup was minus any whole potatoes. It was a rich creamy base with plenty of flavor and very hearty. The burger was really a double cheeseburger with plenty of cheese, grilled onions, what appeared to be a mayonnaise based sauce on a soft hamburger roll. Really tall enough that it was tough getting your mouth around it. Very well seasoned burgers and the onions were a nice touch. The onion rings were huge and had a very light batter on them. They served in a metal bowl to keep them hot. For dessert the apple crumble was ordered which was served in a large dish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This could have been warmer but still was good.. The 5 star rating is for the chowder as it outshone the rest of the meal although the burger was definitely a close second. Definitely will return to try other dishes when we come back to the city.

The meat and veggies were plentiful, the portion generous, and it was tasty enough but maybe on the bland side? It was served with a side of braised red cabbage which we really liked: sweet but not sour like pickled cabbage. And house-made brown stout bread, also very good. The wife had a Guinness and I, thinking it too cliché to order Guinness as a tourist in Ireland, tried a different stout whose name I've forgotten from the ample selection. But comparing the two, so much better! The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Irish dishes, more than most of the similar pubs in the area. As well as the other expected pub type food: sandwiches, burgers, etc. As for desserts, if we were hungrier, the wife might have ordered the Irish Whiskey Bread & Butter Pudding. The hubby would probably get his dessert later, as the selection was limited and neither that nor the Apple Crumble appealed. Sitting at the bar we had a more personalized experience than were we at a table. The bartender offered to take a photo of me behind the bar which I of course accepted. We made the right choice in coming here.

Our first meal in Dublin was at The Old Mill Restaurant, right in the heart of Temple Bar. It's been serving traditional Irish fare since the 1980s and has become a favorite stop for both locals and visitors looking for classic comfort food. After about a 20-minute wait, we were seated in the warm, inviting dining room. Susan ordered the mussels, one of her favorites, while I went with the Traditional Irish Stew and my daughter chose the Braised Beef & Guinness Stew. Both were exactly what we hoped for: hearty, flavorful, and perfect after a day of sightseeing. I finally understood why the Guinness stew had such a rich, dark color, and I have to admit, I came home a big fan of Irish stew. We finished with the Homemade Bread & Butter Pudding topped with fresh cream and custard, a comforting dessert that was the perfect ending to the meal. Service, atmosphere, value, and food were all five out of five. We also enjoyed chatting with the floor manager, whose pride in the restaurant and his team was obvious. That kind of hospitality made a great meal even more memorable.

The mash was too thick and chunky, the bangers were bit overcooked. The mussels was disappointing, seafood chowder was ok. The restaurant is located on the second floor. We made a reservation, but was asked to wait while they cleaned up the table. Unfortunately, the table they wanted to seat us, the folks decided to have a long after dinner conversation, thus we ended up waiting longer than expected. Then they seated us at a larger table after waiting 15 minutes or so. The service was decent... wasn't fan of tipping request, EU needs to stop adopting USA's stupid system :)

My husband and I stopped by for dinner and I ordered a caesar salad and their fish chowder. The caesar was great but my gosh the fish chowder and accompanying brown bread rocked my socks.
