I got the chocolate hazelnut that tasted like chocolate with chocolate syrop and brandy in it rather than any hazelnuts - nobody liked that flavor. The pricing was fair and staff very nice.

I went here on a Saturday night around 5:30 PM and it was pretty crowded which is always a good sign. I ordered frozen yogurt with red velvet flavoring topped with rainbow sprinkles and my boyfriend ordered two scoops of hard ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Our total was $10.65 which is was a little pricey in my opinion for the size. The hard ice cream was decent - coconut almond swirl and peanut butter.

My red velvet didn't taste like anything red velvet but it tasted like a good vanilla soft serve. Overall- expensive but good ice cream. Not a place to frequent but for a special treat I'd go back.

$5 for a pretty large small cone with sprinkles. Not bad at all. The sprinkles were fresh... very crunchy and not waxy tasting at all. The vanilla was just that. Very vanilla &, for lack of a better word, boring. It wasn't watery nor was it creamy. It wasn't gross either. It was just there. They have lots of other options if soft serve isn't your thing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a nice day out so I sat on one of their many benches instead of my car. They even have picnic tables in case you need to put a banana split down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lady who served me was nice and appreciated that tiny tip I left. And trust me, it was tiny. Sorry. Gotta love a walk up window ice cream spot. They are fairly new to Flemington (like a few years old) but I love seeing the crowd on hot summer nights. Their ice cream is pretty wonderful and I am still searching for a flavor I don't love. The last trip included a scoop of tiramisu in a sugar cone and oh man, just so good. Loved that you could actually taste all of the tiramisu goodness mixed with creamy ice cream. It was a hot day and I could not have been happier. Can't wait for another trip and another flavor!

My mom and I decided to stop by Thee Ice Cream Parlor to try some homemade ice cream on our way back from shopping. We both got small sugar cones! I got the Vanilla Peanut butter which was good but nothing crazy. Then my mom got the Cappuccino Blast which was definitely more unique and very delicious. Every time I pass it there is always a line! So be prepared to wait in line, we waited almost 10 minutes. My only suggestion is to bring your own extra spoon because there is a 10 cent charge for an extra one... lol Would I go back again? Yes! Would I go out of my way to pick it up? No, but if im driving by I definitely would stop!

Really really great ice cream, good vibes and atmosphere and loved the outdoor seating. Just a couple things they can work on: 1) could definitely use more flavor options. The ones they have are really good but there should be more of a variety. 2) a small pet peeve, but ice cream parlors shouldn't just put a scoop on top of a cone, they should fill the actual cone a bit as well. In general, I will absolutely come back. The sundae wall was great and the ice cream tasted fantastic.

Always busy and its obvious why! Delicious icecream for a reasonable price. They offer so many flavors and toppings galore! My parents are fussy icecream eaters but they loved it! 100% a go to spot!

Great local ice cream shop! The interior has a 50s diner feel. The outside seating is great to hang out with active children. It's conveniently located on 202. I believe they relocated to this new space about a year ago. read more

There really isn't anything special about it, it's basically store bought ice cream and compared to it's counter part the polar cub way pricer for what it is, I got a brownie Sunday and it was literally like 1 by 2 inch's long and was almost comical considering the prices they charge. read more

Stopped in only after hitting "The fudge Shoppe" best chocolate ever! Order two double scoop cones,plain & simply. The girl was pretty rude & impatient. Didn't even know there was an ice cream menu flavor sign hanging on the wall, asked & she made us look on the case. Small portions~ high price, plus she over charged us. Charged for 3 cones! Extra 2.99! Girl was rude and dumb! Really ten bucks for two tiny cones~ Total rip off.. First & last time there. Won't go back, ice cream wasn't even good.. Grochowitz in Glen Gardner is the best "real homemade" ice cream in Hunterdon county.. No doubt! read more

We loved this place! Brought my four kids here after a fun trip to Northlandz nearby...this is an adorable ice cream parlor, very clean, amazing variety, and yummy ice cream. Great all-around. Also had a nice talk with the owner...she's wonderful! Highly recommend!! read more

Families beware. Went to Thee Ice Cream Parlor with my 2 daughters (6 and 3)on a Tuesday night. Only other customer was an older gentleman. My kids were just being kids, nothing out of the normal for kids of that age (and I'm a teacher). Older woman (maybe owner or manager) treated us rudely, and referenced my kids as elephants. We paid and left. No business should treat the customer in that fashion....just give us our order and let us be on our way. It's like you never had families as customers. Would love to support local non-chain businesses...but this one no more. read more

Chick behind the counter totally over charged me and my boyfriend! I've never paid $10 a piece for a stinking ice cream cone, even on a special cone! The ice cream wasn't worth the money at all, didn't taste all that great, and I left completely disappointed. Plus, the parking lot was very small and over packed; people kept driving up through the wrong entrance. That was my first and last time coming here. I will at least say one nice thing about the place though, love the design layout. It's a shame the place left a bad taste in my mouth because they have what looks like an amazing list of sundaes... read more

My husband and I went there about a half hour after it opened and requested our usual sugar free/fat free chocolate/vanilla swirl medium cup. We were told that the machine was being cleaned and wasn't available. My husband is diabetic and that's the only ice cream he can eat. I thought it was unprofessional to be open for business, but not have the soft serve machine operational. Shouldn't they be cleaning the machines prior to opening for the day? Also, it took 5 minutes for someone to come out front and wait on us. This is not a professionally run business. read more

So disappointed with this place. Intended to invoke a 1950's ice cream parlor feel, the decor instead reminded me more of a Walmart clearance aisle. Except for a framed Elvis album cover, there was nothing original to the 50's. It is a very cheesy attempt at vintage, indeed. I waited on line and when my turn came to be waited on three times I was asked what I wanted and three times as I was about to open my mouth the order taker turned and spoke to someone else. Finally on the four attempt I was able to answer only to find that they were out of the flavor I had come for, vanilla peanut butter. I made a second choice, butter pecan, paid my $5 and left in my car. The ice cream itself was a major disappointment. Not only were there just a few tidbits of pecans, the ice cream melted at an extremely fast rate and had to be eaten quicker than I would have wanted. The temperature was in the mid 60's with about 70% humidity. I fully realize that the fillers that are used in commercial ice creams that keep ice cream from melting are not present in hand made ice creams. But perhaps thee ice cream parlor should read the following article from an award winning ice cream maker on how to keep ice cream from melting. http://icecreamscience.com/ice-cream-melt/ In the end I wish I had saved my $5 for a Starbucks, instead. Have been here twice. While slightly expensive, the ice cream is worth the price as it's homemade and their servings are not skimpy. Milk Shakes were very good too. Custom ice cream cakes also seem worthy of a try. The place was clean and the service adequate. In my opinion this place is way better than Polar Cub which I always thought quite average. read more

We have been to Thee Ice Cream Parlor on a number of occasions. The staff is always as friendly as can be. The ice cream is delicious. The decor is fun. We decided order an ice cream cake for our son's 3rd birthday. The cake was adorable and absolutely delicious! Everybody at our son's birthday gathering was blown away by the cake. Pretty new establishment, very friendly staff and owner, accomodating to show ingredients since have many food sensitivities. The ice cream itself, eh. It melted funny, and stuck together weirdly. Odd consistency. Didn't seem very rich. Decor is nice and old fashioned looking. I tried 3 flavors and had to settle since none tasted as creamy as I've had elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service. Overly tanned woman with short Kate Gosselin hair charged me extra money for using a debit card before I could get my cash out and said "Too late, already ran it." The ice cream is average and you can find a worthy substitute anywhere. I would recommend going to Rita's. They treat you a lot more nicely and it's cheaper. read more

I arrived with my boys and my father in law, a man celebrating another year of survival in a universe that has not yet figured out how to improve pancakes. The space is small, and the famous Kiseki pancakes take their time, about twenty to thirty minutes, as if they are being persuaded into existence rather than cooked. These Kiseki pancakes are not pancakes in the American sense. They are soufflé style creations, tall and trembling, as if gravity is only a suggestion. They arrive airy and delicate, with a gentle jiggle that suggests optimism. We ordered accordingly. I had the lemon ricotta, which tasted like sunlight had been filtered through dairy. My oldest chose matcha, green, purple and quietly sophisticated and complex. My youngest went with the original maple, a classic executed so well it made the classics feel new again. All were excellent, the sort of food that makes conversation pause because mouths are busy being grateful. My father in law ordered what I personally considered a cautious breakfast. Regular pancakes with eggs and bacon. A meal that could have been assembled in any roadside diner between here and forever. Yet even this was handled with care. The eggs were perfect, the bacon honest, the pancakes dignified. No irony, no shortcuts. Yes, the prices are a little steep. But this is not a place for routine nourishment. This is a place for occasions, for birthdays, for reminding yourself that breakfast can aspire to something like art. Five stars, because sometimes the world surprises you by getting something exactly right.

The liege waffle began to slightly melt the ice cream, but not to the point where it ever became soupy! The waffle had an excellent sweet vanilla flavor to it, and was very enjoyable just to eat on its own! The cinnamon-bourbon ice cream is a must try! There were real pieces of cinnamon in there, which enhanced the flavor superbly! The combination of the ice cream and waffle just blew me away tho... they paired so well with each other! This is definitely an awesome spot in Doylestown to check out if you need something for dessert after dinner, or are just trying to enjoy a night out.
