Great cocktails, hookah, & staff! Definitely has become my favorite spot in Atlanta to have a good time.

I came here on an empty day with 5 of my friends. Out of the 6 of us 3 don't smoke. They said it's policy for every 2 people to buy a hookah so we ordered 2. My sister visited therapy lounge , she is a regular customer . After our recent visit I was disappointed deeply by the disrespect from management and the owner . We ordered hot wings and never got them after waiting over an hour . They offered to give a complimentary drink however we already ordered our fill . I explained that being such regular customers That he should consider comping the bul due to the fact our experience was substandard. What was most offensive was that his response WAS WHEN I BECOME A BUSINESS OWNER I WOULD UNDERSTAND. This was particularly offensive because I felt he was making assumptions about my stature in my career when I was address weakness in the service we received . The owner was condescending and belittling . I wanted a pleasant meal instead we got a lot of drinks and a healthy dose of disrespect . If the owner felt a small discount was appropriate for our hour wait I could respectfully disagree however him being so rude and condescending when I addressed my concern is unacceptable. As a individual that started his first business at 16 and now currently runs multiple successful corporations when I'm not traveling the world , however I would be even more offended by his comment if I was a cashier or hourly employee that worked longer hours to pay for the meal that was ruined only to be told I would understand when I ?become a business owner " as if non entrepreneurs lack the abilities to comprehend everyday situations. read more

I went here today and enjoyed myself just as much as I did the first time a few months ago. The staff was great. It was my first time trying the food and it was really good. I enjoyed the hookah and they made sure to regularly come by to change the coals. I love the music and vibe so it really is a great "therapy" place! read more

This place is okay. Very over crowded. The desserts are really not worth it. The hookah is priced reasonably. The service takes forever.

Was a bit embarrassed when the server tried to act like I was stealing a drink (soda water) in front of my friends because I drank it walked out and left and then I came back with my friends and she blurted our "hey you didn't pay for the water earlier" I was able to speak with the manager who went into detail about how she has to pay for carbonated water instead of addressing the approach of the bar tender. This is a cool chill spot if you like hookah like I do. They do have a full bar. But food isn't the best. It may depend on the cook of the day because one day I had some bomb tacos and another day my bestie ordered some wings and fries and they were super super bland. I'm talking no seasoning like they didn't even sprinkle salt on it. Was really disappointed in that. The spot is really small and intimate which I like.. I think of this spot as more like a pre game kinda spot before heading to the actual turn up spot of the night. The parking is decent and free. Over all I give them 4 stars. read more

I'm giving this Lounge two stars for the simple fact that I've been here before and my first time was went very well. However my second time the server was rude and basically kicked out my friends due to the they were 20. The server had an attitude the entire time up until the fact where she asked us for ids and kicked us out because alcohol is served here. We called ahead and even asked if it was 21 and up and they told us no but then we get there and the server was just rude. The is the absolute best hookah spot in the city. I've tried them all, and while MINT Lounge is close to my heart (and across the street) I must admit that the ambiance, cocktails, and sheesha quality are better. Getting me here was like pulling teeth! Boy am I glad I came. The hookah is very strong and the drinks are STIFF! The service is conducted by beautiful Ethiopian ladies! They are accommodating and will constantly refill your hookah. (We had to give a commanding "No-More". Lol) I left feeling woozy and damn near emotional. I think we over-indulged! I should have read the reviews more carefully before stopping here to get in a few pages of reading before lunch across the way at Desta. As soon as I walked in, I was slightly taken aback to see a young man puffing away at his hookah. You see, I am not into going out at night WHATSOEVER, so this scene just kind of surprised me. But I think I took in stride and did my best to not flinch noticeably. Anyway, I was greeted by a tall woman who told me to take a seat wherever. I grabbed a menu first and perused it while standing. After I settled for the house tea (I was tempted to get something milky, like a cappuccino or latte, but I resisted the urge to keep my belly extra-growly for lunch), I sat down. Watch your step! The small booths are set one step higher than the common ground that you walk in on. She brought my tea out without a couple of minutes, along with an extra Lipton tea bag and a little sugar container. I smelled the tea, which smelled delightful, and scanned my brain quickly for information about why I'd add a tea bag to already wonderful-smelling tea. A Lipton tea bag at that. I was thoroughly confused but since I didn't want to look too much like a noob, I quelled the desire to ask her about the strange addition to my tea saucer. I ignored the sugar as well and just let the tea cool down a bit. Tea was quite good. I was able to read pretty much in peace, except that the same nice lady who said, "Hi," to me seemed to have a meeting with some consultants or friends about her menu changes/updates. They were talking in normal tones, but since they were the only ones there, besides me and Mr. Hookah-Puffer, there was no white noise and I had a hard time focusing on Lovecraft. Also, I didn't love the smell of the hookah, which didn't bother me like smelling cigarettes, but it did have this really sweet, artificial smell to it, which make me slightly nauseous. By the time I finished the tea, I made a pit stop at the little girls' room, which is actually shared with little boys too and was quite clean (but with no hook for me to hang my coat or purse), and left. Cards can only be used for purchases of $5 or more. My tea was less than $2 so I paid with some cold hard greenbacks. read more

What a cute little spot!! I went on a Saturday afternoon with a friend. I didn't get to try any desserts or the food next door but their drinks are really really good. They are the hand crafted type of drinks so they are worth every sip. I totally love the feel in here. I went with my friend but this can definitely be a date spot or a place to chill with a group of 5 or 6 ppl max. Its small so a group larger just would kill the intamcy of it all. Anyway...they have a great hookah selection with all the best flavors. I completely enjoyed my experience here and the service was great. Our waitress checked on us frequently and was really polite. Service can win me over at any place. With that being said I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 since I didn't get to experience the whole menu or go in the evening. Will update when I do. read more

I've visited this place several times over serval years & this place has went from good to bad. They have multiple hookah flavors on their menu that they haven't had in stock for several months even though the same brand & flavor listed on their site is available at any local smoke shop. Tonight is as the last straw after I got went in to place a to go order & the extremely rude waiteress tried to charge me gratituity for a to go order. I've paid the gratuity when eating in the establishment no problem. However, I've never had the charge added to a to go order. When I mentioned this to the waitress & how this has never happened before she told me "that's how we do it here" despite me telling her it's never happened to me on multiple occasions when ordering to go. She replied "we'll the managers over there if you want to talk to him" which I declined & left because that's never happened before. This establishments customer service & product has declined dramatically over the years & its extremely small. Do yourself a favor & visit somewhere else. Didn't care for this lounge compared to others in the area like (mint ultra). The food and drinks are good. And reasonable prices. The hookah is average priced but not the best in the area. The parking lot is small, which does not leave a lot of flexibility with parking. The vibe is nice, especially if you are a islander. read more

Went with some friends to use scoutmob, and ended up staying there until 1am on a weekday, enjoying great company, excellent service, and nice refreshments. Therapy Lounge is an Ethiopian coffee/bar/hookah spot in a small square off of Briarcliff in Druid Hills. The interior decor is dark and sultry, and they play Ethiopian music in the background, which I really enjoyed. Upon entering, there's a lounging area for group hookah smoking in the front, and a bar near the back with separate seating. I just got a coffee but I tried some of their pastries and they were amazing. I especially liked the almond pastry puff. The women that work there are super sweet and informative. read more

As relaxed and laidback as it gets and a great place to wind down the night. A few friends and I visited during the late night hours after a birthday celebration on a Saturday and found the place to be welcoming with a very diverse crowd and a DJ spinning tunes from a bar-side laptop. Small and cozy, we found it easy to converse amidst the music and laughter from the patrons. Their baklava is pretty tasty as well! I'd definitely like to try this place out in the daylight as I'm sure their coffee is remarkable. So glad to have happened upon this hidden hotspot! read more

Tell yo kids, yo wife, and yo husband that you're going to Therapy. Or not, because that's a really cheesy joke and I'm sorry to have typed it. Anyways, this place serves the best shisha I've ever smoked in all of Georgia. The professionals at Therapy know how to serve my shai and shisha just right, and their playlist is always on point as well. It can get a little loud at night so if you're wanting to smoke shisha & drink your tea in peace, stick to daytime hours. Also, I've never tried this myself but I hear you can order Ethiopian food from nearby restaurants and they'll gladly serve it to you here. read more

A great little bar/lounge where you can drink and smoke hookah! It's anywhere from $12 to $20 for a hookah, which will give two people about an hour of smokage. Very tasty. I got a $10 cocktail that was basically like a shot and a half worth of liquid, but was surprisingly long-lasting. It was pretty alcoholic, so all I wanted to do is take teeny tiny sips. It would be cool if they had food beyond just desserts, but otherwise, this place is pretty rockin! read more

I love coming to this lounge, especially when the weather is amazing. The whole experience is relaxing, the music & the coffee scene makes you feel very comfortable. My favorite server has to be Akram, also known as "AK." If I'm on Clairmont and want to grab some hookah with some friends he's the first person I go to. The service was terrible!! I order a hookah, food and drinks. Before ordering a drink the waiter insisted I get a drink that wasn't listed on the menu, I ask him how much it is, and he says it's $9. Ok cool, let me get 2! After I order I go to the bathroom, I come back to my drinks, food, nights going good. I finally ask for the check and it never arrives after waiting for 30 minutes. At this point I'm aggravated and get up to approach the waiter to pay.I get the check the guy charged me $20 for the drinks so $10 each instead of $9. I asked him why he changed the price and he let me know "I let the guy at the table know". Did he order the drinks? No. Is he paying? No. If you say something is $9 then it's $9. He goes on to say "I really could charge you $15 a drink because my sister is the owner" Sir I don't care if your mother owns the place, stand by your word or apologize for the mix up but don't threaten paying customers or give out terrible service. I do not recommend this place. If your looking for fast service, good but cheap hookah, and fairly priced drinks hit up @TENATL because this place is just terrible!! $60 for a small hookah, 2 watered down drinks, and 2 meals served like I was taking my food to go. I took their Mint, initially I thought that their small hookahs would not serve me well. My Fiance and I shared the hookah and it was consistent throughout the 1 hour we were there. Visiting from out of town and decided to check out this hookah bar!! It was absolutely amazing!! Everyone was soooo friendly---from the staff to the other people visiting the lounge. Seems like everyone in there knew each other, but one looked at me and included me in conversation, saying "we're all together!" It was a little smaller than I expected but still a great place to hang out. I had a drink called the Pineapple Mojito that was nothing less than delicious!!! Went to this spot with my girlfriends last week. Waited for 15 minutes to be sited. Worth the wait. Waitress were very professional. The Mediterranean wings were full of flavor. Atmosphere was heavenly; that dj played everything really well.The 90s play list was jumping!. Jamican and African music was great. Very nice environment. My friends loved the hookah too.
