Let me start by saying I've had several great meals and usually have good service from Greek Palace. Today was an exception! I placed an order for take out online (through door dash). When I got to the restaurant at the pickup time (12:20 - lunchtime) the front doors were locked. I called the phone number thinking maybe I was the first customer of the day and they had forgotten to unlock their doors, and once someone answered "hello", I confirmed I had the right number, explained the situation, and he mumbled something and hung up. I waited a few more minutes, and no one ever came to the door. The charge is only pending on my card. If the charge goes through, I'll take off stars from the review. Hoping it doesn't go through. I'm so sorry. I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food is not Greek; it might be what people think Greek food is and even then... not great. The kids fries and grilled cheese is on a pita and very light on cheese. We also had a vegetarian platter with a side of gyro meat. The tabbouleh salad, stuffed grape leaves, tahini sauce, and falafel were good; the falafel were the best part! The tzatziki had a weird mayo overtone and the gyro meat was hacked rather than thinly sliced, not charred, and poorly seasoned. The honey cake was my favorite part of the meal. I can no longer recommend this place. I tried this a second time but got a completely different product. It was supposed to be a chicken wrap but it was so loosely wrapped I couldn't pick it up. There were odd things in it like potatoes and giant pickles- very few pieces of chicken . No feta and not spicy and I had paid for that. It was more expensive than what I paid before but didn't taste like chicken sharma. Would have given it back but didn't want to drive back so threw it in the trash. read more

Traditional gyro is delicious! My crew also devoured the falafel pita wrap, chicken shawarma wrap and the cheeseburger - no leftovers !

Ok first let me say that I am a Greek food lover. I can't seem to drive by a Greek restaurant without stopping. Unfortunately this is one that I wish I didn't stop at. Right from the beginning I knew I was doomed. From the waiter that wanted to be texting rather than wait on me or the Luke warm "iced tea" that had no ice. Next time to order and to my surprise things that normally come on a gyro like feta, were an extra charge, my wife wanted something "spicy" also an extra $1.50. Nickel and dime much? this place is ridiculous, the food was ok , but not worth what you get. I know of five other places that I would be happy to drive to. I wouldn't be surprised if they start charging you extra for the pita your gyro comes on. What a ripoff, no redeemable qualities here. And definitely not a value. I should have walked out when I saw how empty they were at lunch time. read more

The girls at the front counter were very nice but confused, and probably a bit on the nervous side. I soon understood why. The owner, or cook, or whatever he was, is very aggressive. Mind you, I'm choosing my words wisely. Ambiance was cold like an empty hospital cafeteria. I'm not going to go into detail, mainly bc of fear of retribution, but I would not recommend ever eating there. i will be making detailed complaints to the health department. food Is one thing, but that man is another story. Hubby and I decided to try this place for lunch, so glad we did!! Hubby ordered Greek feta burger and it has turned into his new favorite burger. I ordered a spicy gyro with feta and, from someone who has eaten a lot of gyros, it was one of the best! The place is small but it is clean and service is friendly. Food was delicious! I'm Greek, travel often to Greece, and cook Greek food. I ordered the lamb kabob, which was freshly grilled, flavorful, juicy, tender. The rice it was served with was luscious - beautifully seasoned with fragrant Greek spices. The ambience is relaxed & comfortable. GP caters to both take out and dine-in in the same space. It does not have a patio space when dining in. The tables are big and the seating is very comfortable. The service has been steller on every visit, the young people are very helpful & pleasant. My order has always been correct. They even help me manage my gf & df dietary needs. I have brought my gf pitas and they warmed it for me so I could enjoy their gyro (ordered the gyro bowl). The food is fresh & plentiful, a great value for the money. I have had the kabob platter over cinnamon rice and both the traditional gyro bowl and chicken bowl. The traditional has so much flavor. Being df I appreciate the mayo based, seasoned dressing BUT there is another dressing that does have dairy. I cannot comment on the desserts as they dont have any gf & df. I do not know who owns this but I do sense that it is more middle eastern rather than greek. The AMAZING unsweetened iced tea gives it away. Update 9.26.24.
