This is a really cool place, especially on Thursday nights when they have bingo! This was our first time here meeting some friends for bingo and the first thing I noticed was the rudeness of the staff. We walked in and never having been there before, went to the bar. I asked what ciders they had, they only had one and it was cucumber flavor. This is kinda an odd flavor so I was a little hesitant, but the bartender didn't offer me to try a sample before buying or offer any insight on if it was popular, what it tasted like, etc like a normal bartender would. Needless to say I bought it, and it tasted like pickle juice. We then inquired about how bingo worked and he was very short and made us feel stupid. Once we got our drinks and sat down, we ordered some food. You go up to the window to order and pay and then you get a buzzer when your food is ready to be picked up. We heard amazing thing about the fried ravioli, but unfortunately they were out. We all shared the fried onions, the supa dupa fries, and the brew pretzels. The food was all good and reasonably priced. Bingo was really fun! They have winners of each round and then you can also put your old bingo sheets in a drawing bucket to win free beers which was added fun! 3.5 stars. This was our first time here, we went around 2 pm on a Saturday. There were no signs of you should seat yourself or where to order, so we went and sat at the bar. The bar tender wasn't very friendly when we asked for a menu, just told us to get one from the window, and told us to order there too, then we saw the signs above the order window. We got a wrap and a burger, the food was good-the fries were outstanding. The whole ordering and bussing your own table was kind of strange for a sit down restaurant and then they had a tip jar set out....not sure what they wanted tips for?! The place was quiet and cute. We had a debate, go to 3rd Wheel or Shamrocks this evening. Decided to go to 3rd Wheel to support a local brewery. Have to say, this was the wrong choice. The Window gets 5 stars. Food was excellent. However the bartenders at 3rd Wheel were absolutely horrendous. They were rude and just didn't understand they work in the hospitality business. Being a microbrewery does not exclude then from this simple fact. I can go to Friendship, 2 Plumbers, or Good News close to us. Just want my bartender to show common decency, it doesn't matter how their night is going. If you want my money, all it takes is being nice to me. Still tipped 20% because the bartender stood there and watched me fill out my tab but I will never go back to 3rd Wheel and they have lost my business forever. We ate dinner here last night and were pleasantly surprised- especially by the beer! We both tried two different beers and we really enjoyed everything. We ate a PBJ Burger and some wings. Everything was very tasty. I thought the burger was different and everything on it worked together well. The waffle fries were also perfect! My wife and I stopped in to Third Wheel Brewing for the first time last night, and we were surprised to the size of the space, it's a huge space with tons of room at the bar or at one of the many tables. We wanted to try a new brewery and have some food and this place has it all! Scratch made food and delicious beer. We tried the traditional buffalo chicken wings and they were spicy and tasty, they have some adventurous items like peanut butter and jelly wings and some other awesome sides and main meals. The beer selection was not too big and not too small, I enjoyed my Singular Day 2.0 IPA and my wife loved the Climbing waters towers on peaches... it was a bright delicious fruit beer. Excellent line up of beers, fill up a growler with your favorite to take home! The Full Wheel is a flight of taster with all Third Wheel Brews that are currently on tap. They have a great line up, hoppy, ale, wit and a sour beer that isn't tart at all, nice smooth and drinkable! The scenery on the inside includes 26 tables and a full u shaped bar with roughly 20-30 seats, with room to stand. Located right off the Hwy, this place is deceptively large compared to the outside appearance. A huge wrap around bar with large and small tables throughout the space. They have a very large collection of in house brewed beers as well as a surprisingly large food menu. We tried the beer cheese soup and it was pretty amazing. Very thick and cheesy, not cutting any corners! The three beers I tried were on point and something I would definitely drink again! I had an okay time at Third Wheel Brewing. The atmosphere was nice and open. It was a little confusing ordering food because you order at a window, and the food and bar are owned separately from each other. So, you have to order your drinks (alcoholic an non) at the bar and order the food at a separate window. I didn't find this type of service super convenient. The food was your average bar food. However, I did enjoy the fries and Mac and cheese. read more

One is completely focused on a party of four sitting at the bar-only serving and speaking to them. Third wheel brewing was a fantastic night out! We went on a Thursday night, which is BINGO night! The bartenders were very friendly and quick with drinks. You go to the bar to order drinks. My wife got a cucumber cider and tried a few other beers. The beers were pretty good, except for the cucumber cider, only because of the pickle taste, but if you like pickles, this might be a big hit for you! I myself got wine, Chardonnay, which was pretty solid for what they had in stock. The food is ordered at a separate window and they give you a buzzer to wait for your food. The food didn't take long to come out, and wow! The wings were crunchy, not too spicy, very flavorful and excellent! The loaded fries were also delicious. I highly recommend ordering both! The ambiance was loud and fun! It was bingo night so of course it was a little rowdy, but in the best way possible! They have sign up sheets for rounds where you can be the bingo MC for a round even! This place is fantastic! The food is delicious. We tried the brew burger and scotch eggs. The beer is also very good! We had the Going Once Going Twice (lemon sour wheat beer), Ophelia's Wit, Capo (stout), and Hidden Pool. Lots of seating. No waiters, so you have to order your drinks at the bar and then your food at "the window." They also have a self serve water machine. Fun vibe. It's even kid friendly (up until a certain hour). I think the beer here is better than Urban Chestnut, and we are beer people. read more

The beer here was great. We had a variety of people in our group that range from Beer Snobs to "seltzer drinkers" and each person found at least one beer they liked. We just tried what was not their draft list and found several worthy of going back for or taking home in a growler next time. My favorite was the Berliner - Weisse with a blackberry syrup. I haven't had many of these outside of classic German beer halls that are this good. It was refreshing without being overly sweet/tart. In fact, of all the beers we had (about 6) this was universally selected as the best. They have some TVs too to watch games. We didn't try food but the menu looked decent. Can't say enough about this place. They take dog friendly to a new level by having a separate room for customers with pups. For travelers this is so helpful as we cannot always leave the dog behind. This stay we experienced bad winds so could not leave the dog in the RV when we went out. Once a month I meet with friends to play card and board games. Late last year I reached out to the owner, Brad, about eating lunch at Third Wheel and then "hanging out" and playing games. I'd never been to Third Wheel so didn't know if our group and playing games would be welcomed. Brad was great! He immediately replied back and was very friendly. He encouraged us to come and even gave us a heads up about an event coming up that would clash with our needs. So we started going, after that event. The first two times we went were great. We had been meeting at another venue that was extremely crowded and loud. We were looking for something that would meet our needs a little better. Because we meet around noon on Saturdays, there were very few others in Third Wheel. This was perfect for us. I had many comments from my friends that they preferred Third Wheel because of the atmosphere. Then, there was this month. As usual, we met around noon on Saturday. When we got there, there were maybe 3 or 4 other customers in the entire place. The music was so loud we had to yell to hear each other. Several people from our group asked for the music to be turned down. It would be turned down, but then always turned back up within minutes. If that's now how the management wants the environment, OK. Fine. There are ways to nicely say so. But don't treat us like we're too stupid to tell that you're just ignoring us. We were only able to play for about an hour before members left because they had a headache. I spoke with the manager. I made sure he knew we are paying customers. We don't just take up space. We eat lunch before playing. We easily bring in $100+ every time we come in. I also made sure he knew we'd been there before and had plans to continue coming in. I got nothing but attitude. Just Wow! I wasn't expecting too much from some of the reviews and then i was blown away. We had a Cajun quesadilla and there was so much grilled chicken and veggies, it was like i would make myself! The wings were crispy and flavorful, didn't need any ranch or blue cheese. Check out the sweet potato fries with a spicy sauce! You won't be disappointed. Don't let me forget about the beer. Their beer is terrible. It lacks depth and much of it (sampled 7 beers) tastes watered down. The food isn't any better. The patty melt was extremely dry and the meat was not seasoned. It was supposed to have cheese on it but did not. The sweet potato fries were good, and so was the IPA mustard. The website boasts how particular they are about hiring staff, but the bartender we interacted with had no clue what he was talking about. His description of one beer was that it was "funky" and when asked about another beer he said "it's basically the other beer I just described but it tastes a little different." They also don't give you an itemized receipt when you have a tab at the bar. This place was a total miss for us. read more
