What's confusing is I didn't get serviced for about 5 minutes so scanned the QR code on the table and as I finally got it working one of the servers came up to me with attitude saying "you'll order with me" before giving me a menu and storming off. The food was pretty mid, nothing special, extra salty bar type food. I waited a while for my check. I had a late lunch here before boarding my flight back to PHX and everything turned out great! Bar attendant was very on point and immediately came up to me as soon as I sat down. I ordered a Hefeweisen beer, and that came quickly and was exactly what I expected. After driving 2 hours from Columbia, I was hungry and needed some food as it was 4pm. Please, please do not come here. We didn't even sit down. The owner or manager looked very angry and the table that he guided us to was a mess and he said that there was no one working with him that day, which is understandable, but he was very mad and terse, pushing chairs around and not at all welcoming space. I could hear workers say, "I need to leave and the one waitress look exhausted". If people don't show up to work I get the frustration but also try not to take it out on customers?? I saw the food from a distance and it did not look appetizing. Everything yelled "stay away" as we waited. Instead we headed to Vino Volo just down the airport and was much better. It's solid. If you're catching an early flight, like I typically do, and actually arrive to the airport 2 hours early, like I typically do, this place will hit the spot. Seat yourself, I grabbed the first table. While it was clean, it's definitely old and had that residual not so fresh feel to it. This place definitely needs a refresh of the decor and furniture. My server was prompt and friendly. Went with the Breakfast Tacos w/potatoes and a side of Bacon. Food came out in about 6 min. Now, the food could have been hotter, definitely. In general the taste was fine and for the price, the serving was comparable. I have frequented here and probably will in the future. The only other options in this terminal are Starbucks (2 locations), Chili's and Great Wraps. So, make the best of it. read more

A recent flight delay forced me to find a meal at the main terminal of Lambert. I was in a burger mood. I assumed that Schlafly would've the best option. So I'll say I was a little disappointed with burger esp since it was $3 more than the other option. Schlafly serves a smash burger with 2 patties topped with cheese. Condiments are in little packets along side which was fine. Shredded lettuce and small tomato slices were btwn buns as well as pickles. The bun was fresh. Burgers are served with choice of side: I did salad with balsamic dressing. I had ordered my burger without onion but didn't think to mention no onions in the salad! Darn it because that thing was loaded with chopped red onion. Also had croutons, cheese and tomato. Salad was basic iceberg lettuce but at least it was cut into reasonable bite size pieces. Dominique (I think) was the only waitress working the very full restaurant. She was efficient and friendly enough. I will mention another reason I picked this place is the seating inside looked more comfortable than the other place. However next time I will have to check out the other places burger. read more

I've had their beer before and loved it so was primarily going to drink but flying across the country figured I should eat as well. We were seated right away and like most airport restaurants, the tables were too close together to navigate our luggage through the seating area. The burger has bacon, melty beer cheese and decent sized patty on a standard bun. Not sure if they normally ask burger temp but they didn't this time and it came out medium-well. More done than my typical burger order but it was flavorful. Fries were fine but nothing to write home about. I don't expect a lot at airports but I really wanted to like this place. I've had Schlafly beers before and think they do a nice job. However, from the moment we walked in the service was poor. There were dirty tables, no host, and lots of people who had not been helped. I worked in the service industry for 5 years so I'm pretty understanding. I only saw one server but what got to me was his don't care attitude. He walked slowly, carried 1-2 drinks max at a time, didn't check in with his tables, and wasn't personable at all. When I looked at the menu I saw a raspberry cider that sounded good. It's only served in a can so they poured it to a glass for me. About 1/2 way through I realize there is a very large amount of sediment at the bottom of my cup. You would think I was drinking kombucha... it was nasty. My husband got the ipa which he liked. We had some time until our flight so we started with the bruchetta. It took maybe 15 minutes to come out, no big deal but after seeing it and realizing it wasn't fresh, it had me wondering what took so long. If I were to guess it was prepared a day or two before, okay whatever. The bread it was served on was delicious however. It was toasted to perfection and hit the spot. The nice bread made this bruschetta decent. We weren't quite hungry but wanted something to take on the flight so we got a turkey club to go. I opened the box before we left to check it out and it was super sloppy. As I tried to fix the sandwich i noticed the turkey was primarily on one side of the sandwich and there was a tiny strip of bacon on the other. If we had the time I would have spoken to the staff and manager but we had to get to our gate. I was very unimpressed with this restaurant and my experience leaves me skeptical of the brewery itself now too. I wouldn't recommend anything at or about this place. You're better off grabbing a sandwich and a water at a cart on your way to your gate. read more

My old fashioned cost ~22 dollars. Beers were good. Food was subpar at best. I had the spicy honey chicken fried sandwich ( I just looked at the online menu and it's no longer listed, this is Wednesday and we were there on Sunday). Friends crispy tots were bone cold and the chicken fried sandwich was warm, not temperature hot. My fried chicken tasted like they drowned it in tabasco sauce to make it hot, not good in my opinion. That's enough on the depressing wait staff, terrible and WAY overpriced drinks, substandard food...I didn't want to waste this time on a review but if I save others from our experience then it was worth it. By the way we made it 5-10 minutes to the gate before our flight started the boarding process. Just in case you are wondering about the timing. Surprisingly good turkey sandwich, fried are always great and hot. Somewhat charred sliced turkey (assuming lunch meat) with bacon, lettuce and tomato. Fries piping hot, seasoned with salt/pepper, and fresh, hot. Typical airport pricing $12.99 but I'd say worth the effort.
