I got the pandan waffle with nutella and it was pretty glorious. Right when you walk in the door you're drenched in the sweet smell of confections. The one guy behind the counter did all the work. It's a small place with only two tables and a few spots at a window bar. If it is empty, this can be a nice place to get on the Wi-Fi and get work done while having a snack. read more

I hate that this place smells so good when I walk in. My butt and thighs are screaming for mercy while my mind and taste buds are telling me to enjoy the egg puffs and pandan waffles because I can just do extra squats when I workout. I like this place, and it really has the potential to grow. The sweetness in the drinks are adjustable, and they're generous with their boba portions. My biggest qualm is a possible deterrent for any future visits if it doesn't improve, which I hope they do. The flavors of some drinks are just not quite there... yet. I hope they're still tweaking with the recipes and working on improving the flavors. Jasmine green milk tea is my default go-to drink. ThirsTea's jasmine has an odd slight pink color to it. There's no hint of jasmine or green tea at all, and it doesn't taste like milk either. I don't know what in the hell I'm drinking because it definitely isn't jasmine milk tea. My favorite drink so far is the coffee milk tea, which I'm happy to report *does* taste like coffee. A quick run-down of the other flavors we've tried: - Peach green tea is good but too sweet at regular sweetness, so we always order it at 50% or 0% sweetness. - The oolong milk tea has a very slight hint of oolong. Otherwise, it's like the jasmine milk: I don't quite know what I'm drinking. - Strawberry smoothie is probably not made with fresh strawberries, as it has a very artificial taste. - The honeydew has a chalky after taste. - The avocado milk tea was just disgusting. Egg puffs are absolutely yummy, as long as they're not overcooked. I love when they're soft and chewy on the inside. Pandan waffles are yummy, too. As of late January 2016, their shaved snow offerings are not ready, but I'm looking forward to trying their mango and taro concoctions! The ONLY place that serves food boba in the area. HOW DID I NOT FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM SOONER?? I go to Graton for a good amount of time throughout the year and all they have there is free water or overprices drinks. So I came here and tried their black milk tea and pandan waffle. The black milk tea was not overly sweetened and the pandan waffle is almost as good as the ones from San Jose. It just needs to be more crispy. But then again I did get it to-go so it became soggy quickly in the bag - don't judge their pandan waffle based on my review please haha. But for sure, their drinks are awesome. as a sonoma state student, there's really not many boba options in town--it's either quickly or thirstea. personally, i prefer thirstea because of their variety of flavors. they're all so simple yet satisfying. what i love most is the consistency of their boba: not too hard or too soft, perfectly in the middle! prices are reasonable also. it's a local business so it's always nice to support. place is never usually busy, which is why i love coming in especially during these times. i would recommend getting coffee half green tea with boba. it's not on the menu but it's absolutely one of my faves! read more

I was so excited to find this place after moving up to NorCal from SoCal. Sonoma is not really known for boba places so I was pretty excited to try it out. I got the Thai Tea which was pretty decent. Some Thai Tea aren't very strong so I was glad to find a place in NorCal that had a pretty good option for Thai Tea. I also got their Vietnamese coffee and a Banh Mi. The Vietnamese Coffee was pretty bitter and didn't have the same sweet taste it normally does. I could go without the Banh Mi, the meat had quite a bit of fat on it that I didn't care for. I really tried to liked this boba shop, I have stopped by about 3 times, and every time I stop by I am disappointed. I always ordered the bubble milk tea, but it seems to lack flavor. First off the cashier was super nice and attentive which is why I gave them 2 stars. I asked about the contents of the Bhan mi sandwich and was told it had paté. I said hold the paté I don't eat pork. So, I waited in my car and came back in and saw the other young woman was making my sandwich. I saw her spread the paté on the sandwich, then the other woman said something and then that woman scrapped the paté off the sandwich and put it back in the bin. I then saw her use the same utensil to get the mayonnaise and spread on the bread. I asked her what she just put back in the bin, she's like mayonnaise, I said no before that, she's like mayonnaise, I'm like no before that. I said was that the paté she like no it was mayonnaise. I said you put something back in the bin that looked like paté was that the paté because I'm allergic to pork so even if you scrapped it off I would still have an allergic reaction. She then said yes it was paté, I'll make you a new one. After that I thought ok, no problems now. Wrong! The chicken in the sandwich was at least a few days old. It's pretty disgusting. I removed all the chicken and ate the rest of the sandwich because I was starving and I figured I wasn't going to get anywhere with them by complaining. I've worked in the food industry and the rule of thumb is don't serve people food you wouldn't eat yourself. Not here. read more

This review is strictly based on their pandan waffle and egg puff. I went around 6:30pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy at all. I was able to order right away and my waffle and puff came out pretty quickly. Their pandan waffle was so good, my roommate has been telling me to try it for a long time and it didn't disappoint. I'm typically picky about my egg puff and the puff wasn't soggy at all and it was crispy/chewy at the same time. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it was good. This place was a little hard to find, it's tucked away in the corner. I definitely recommend coming here to try out their drinks and food options if you're around the area. read more

By far among the best boba option around Santa Rosa/Sonoma County. There's a T4 (probably second best choice) and Quickly in Santa Rosa, but otherwise your other option is Tea Rex or random Asian restaurants that may offer it from their drink menu. Service is consistently quick, and they offer some fun snack options such as the egg puff and pandan waffles (both were great, obviously not cheaper than San Jose). Haven't gotten around to trying their Banh mi/food options. Otherwise, I've been pleased with my drinks/boba each time - I've tried a handful of the milk teas and haven't been disappointed. I'm hoping they'll eventually add egg pudding as an add-on option to their drink menu! This will definitely be my go-to spot for milk tea for whenever I'm in town visiting family. read more

I've been coming here for nearly two years. I agree with other reviewers this is much better than T-Rex and Quickly pales in comparison. I have my favorite milk teas (Roasted Oolong, Sesame & Red Bean). The boba is cooked perfectly. Just enough chew and not hard. The milk teas are not super sweet like Quickly. You can order according to your sweet spot, they're more than happy to accommodate. I've turned on a number of friends here--none of us live in the area, but stop by whenever we are. I'd like to give it FIVE stars, but I recently found out they use SOY milk. I'm disappointed that it is not noted on their menu because I cannot have soy for health reasons. The only alternative is half and half. Wish they offered unsweetened almond milk. The Hubs and little ones (they're sugar monsters ) like the fruit slushes with flavored jelly. The pandan waffle is so good, and the Báhn mì is tasty, too. All in all, I think you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Had a craving for banh mi and normal place owner was on vacation. Decided to try this place out. What a mistake. Both my wife and I looked at eachother the moment we walked in due to the strange smell. I also have to mention the multiple flies that were just around us. I must say, it's a small, quaint store on the corner of the building. You can't really catch it if you are driving on Commerce, but I wanted some milk tea, and found it on this site. The milk tea is pretty good. You can taste the tea, not just sugared milk with a hint of tea. Also, it includes boba and the tax with the listed price. The card reader is something I haven't seen, a small little square reader with no numbers or anything. I guess it means they don't have to rent the card reader. Haven't tried anything else yet. The decor is simple, but clean. Couldn't get wifi, don't know if they have it or not. But not much seating anyway. More of a order and go business than cafe. read more
