New boba spot in the mall also has bomb food. The veggie egg rolls are my favorite. I also love the veggie pho but you have to special order that. If you like popping boba this is the place to go! They have several popping boba flavors and the regular boba is all made fresh. We also had the Asain Boba Bistro cater our last family event and the food was a total hit especially the chicken skewers. We will be having them cater future events for sure and I totally recommend them.

When I'm craving brown sugar boba this place is my go to!! The boba is authentic, they let you customize your sweetness preference as well! The lady upfront Is always so sweet and loves to give out recommendations if you're indecisive like me!

There's barely any places with Laotian food in Sonoma County, so I have been really eager to try this place. The chicken noodle soup (khao piak) is very flavorful and tastes just how it should! The noodles looked to be made in house, thick and perfect texture. Topped with green onions, cilantro, and ground pepper. It was great for the gloomy and rainy weather we've been having recently. There was a side of soy sauce and hot chili oil, which had good spice. The two ladies who were working were friendly. My only complaint is about the boba. I ordered Watermelon green tea flavor with boba and when it originally came out, it was so dark that I thought it was Coca Cola (see photo). I tasted it and it did have a really faint watermelon flavor, but also had a root beer taste. Not worth the $7.50 for a drink. I'd say to go for the great Laotian food offerings, get a canned soda or water, and skip the boba options. I'll be back again for the chicken noodle soup and I'll also have to try the chicken larb!

    So yummy dude!!! Omg

Awesome friendly service even in the loud food court service with a smile. And amazing boba. I'm not used to green tea. I usually get black but I didn't have my glasses to fully study the menu and got green tea cause it's usually still really good. Well. This peach green tea is amazing. It's also slightly perfume like a jasmine I mean that in the best way possible. It's so good. It's not too strong or like watery and the. Tapioca pearls are made to perfection. Thank u guys so much for such a good experience. I really wanted boba today and happened to see u guys. Your drinks made my day. Much love

Delicious Khao Piak! I was surprised to see a Laos restaurant at a mall food court! Loving it! Now I swing by there for lunch, since it's close to work lol price is so reasonable

Surprisingly, good Asian food at the mall. Flavorful non-traditional pho, comfort chicken noodle soup, and refreshing papaya salad. Great value for the quality of food. Definitely will be a regular here. Skip the line at Panda Express and head over to Boba Bistro instead.

This place has some good food and really nice vibes. Their prices are fair and they have some nice selections of drinks. Check this place out.

I have often accidentally ordered tea with cheese foam, because Happy Lemon also offers milk-free tea options. Pros: I love salted cheese foam, and Happy Lemon delivers on it! Their milk teas with salted cheese foam are amazing. I've also had the taro milk tea with salted mochi in it, which has a very creamy texture and a great combination of saltiness and sweetness. I have also had the strawberry matcha smoothie, which I also enjoyed. The counter tends to be busy whenever I go, but the staff is always trying their best and they are helpful. Another great thing about Happy Lemon is that they never charge you extra for ordering drinks without ice. There are also no issues with parking since Happy Lemon is located directly in the Santa Rosa Plaza Mall, where there are parking garages close by. Cons: The tapioca tends to be undercooked, so the texture is often stiff instead of chewy. The drinks are too sweet for my liking, and this is coming from someone who has a sweet tooth. I've ordered drinks at 75% sweetness before like I do at other tea shops, but when I ordered from Happy Lemon, the drink was so sweet that I felt extremely sick and had to add some water at home to dilute the taste. This is because Happy Lemon adds an unbelievable amount of sugar to their tapioca and jellies. If you plan on ordering a drink with tapioca and grass jellies, consider getting 0~25% sweetness. I've been ordering at 0% sweetness lately. Depending on the time and day, Happy Lemon tends to get busy, but I haven't experienced any long lines. One way I feel that they could cut down lines is having a self-service device, but unlike other Happy Lemon stores, the Santa Rosa Plaza Mall location does not have one. I asked the staff about it and they said that they don't have one because of concerns about theft. Overall: Happy Lemon's service is great, and having salted cheese foam is a plus in my book! However, their drinks are extremely sweet, and probably much more sugary than any other milk tea shop I've been to. Consider ordering 0~25% sweetness if you add tapioca or jellies. I have not ordered anything else from Happy Lemon, so I can't comment on them, but I would like to try the egg puff waffle someday.

As…read moresomeone who grew up in SF and frequently travel to HK, I feel like I know good dim sum when I see it and I was so surprised to find a restaurant that had it in Santa Rosa! We ordered: 1. Ha Gao: Good amount of shrimp and good flavor. However I think they put too much tapioca starch in their dough and it makes it too chewy. 2. Pan fried chive dumplings: Similar to the Ha gao, the flavor was excellent inside but the dough on the outside is too chewy and has too much tapioca starch but otherwise good and really big! 3. Siu Mai: Super delicious and generously sized. 4. Shrimp rolls: Delicious and fresh shrimp! 5. Sweet and sour pork: I loved this and it was one of the highlights even though it wasn't dim sum. The pork was super flavorful and crunchy. Loved that it came with veggies. 6. Seafood crunchy noodles: Delicious with perfectly crunchy noodles. Wish it had a bit more sauce but otherwise good amount of seafood! 7. Eggplant shrimp: Very nice soft eggplant with a good amount of shrimp inside! Overall, highly recommend this place. Is it as good as HK? no but is it way better than I expected and as good as most places in SF? YES! I'd rather come here by a long shot than drive all the way to SF to get dim sum. Ill definitely be back!
