First time here, gotta say I love boba drinks but sadly I'm not satisfied with the two milk teas I purchased here: Oolong milk tea and milk tea with boba both upgraded to XL size. I taste some kind of residue from the tea and can't pinpoint what it is. Huge local boba shop. Simply decorated, friendly staff. They had reasonable prices for drinks, a variety of drinks, and the Wintermelon tea was delicious (just needed a bit more ice). My daughter got the matcha, she said she wouldn't get it again because the powder didn't dissolve too well. The drinks here are usually really good, their Thai tea is my favorite. However... since their business owner changed they got new items on the menu, like the soufflé cakes. I ordered them today. They were ok, kind of soggy, but I wasn't expecting anything amazing. However, within an hour or two, I was a complete wreck, vomiting in my car, unsure if it was going to start coming out the other end, too, if you get my meaning. I was hot, shaking, and unsure if I was going to have to go to the hospital. Eventually after I got everything up, I was fine. Classic food poisoning symptoms. I'm still giving a mostly good review because the drinks are always fire but DONT get the food items or at least not the soufflé cakes read more

I came in to order drinks with no ice for to go because I don't want to drink them right away. The cashier told me that they won't be filled up to the top. I have been coming here for a few years, they used to have affordable drinks that were very consistent in quality, and with the point system seemed that was fair at 10 points for a free drink. Now that it has new ownership each drink has gone up 2+ dollars. The cups are nicer but smaller (narrower). You now need 60+ points for a free drink and my drinks are hit and miss now. I usually am not thrilled about boba tea. My husband LOVES it, so I get one too. As usual he said let's get boba milk tea! Alright we will get one! Here we found 'ThirsTea' what a cute naming! We were interested in salted cream. What is that? Never had it before. The young man who is a co-owner gave us a little sample milk tea with salted cream. YUMMY So My hub gets 'milk tea with boba and salted cream' I get 'oolong milk tea with boba' My oolong milk tea was nicely deep and not too sweet. It was perfect! I LOVE it! My husband's milk tea was great too. So when you drink boba tea, you end up with boba in the bottom of the container. You do suck up one by one. That's what I do. We got the cookies and cream slush and a tarp slush, both of which I was very excited to try. Unfortunately I wish I could rate this place higher but they were both so sweet that I had to stop after a sip through the straw. The flavors I could tell were good, but the sweetness was a big turn off. In the cookies and cream slush, the honey syrup had pooped at the bottom of the cup near the boba, so the drink tasted like sugary syrup. A shame because I actually love the marbling with the dark and the salted cream. Maybe next time I'll know to ask for lower sugar, but it is disappointing for a first timer to know that the default sweetness is unorderable read more

Ever since the other owner left Thirsty Tea went down hill !! I have ordered soufflés twice and they never have any why advertise ! Then on top of that DoorDashed them and they decided to just send rolled ice cream ! Like why on earth would I order that DoorDash in 100 degree weather ! My Kids used to love coming to IC Rainbow, but now that ownership has changed, we won't be back again. Over the past few months we have watched this fun and pleasant shop transition into a sterile, commercial establishment. New paint and design, lame name, and running out of ingredients (today, no orange flavoring for the slushie). Also today we found there was a price hike and worst of all, a staff change. My daughter was heartbroken. She had made a card to give the lady that formerly ran the place, but we were rudely informed she no longer works there. I guess all good things come to an end. First of all the reason I'm giving this place a 2 start was all due to service. There boba are not sweet like other places I've been but let me say that there strawberry green tea is the best strawberry tea I ever had. It was made with real strawberry's which that was why I think it was delicious. There Thai tea was good but not great. So I would recommend getting there strawberry tea. Let's move on to service. First of all there menu is there menu so don't even try and ask for substitution or adding in anything. That's where my experience of this location downgraded and I will not be coming back as a customer. Simply asking for a mix of milk and Thai Thai was a big no no. As I asked the cashier she turn around and asked the manager. The manager was not far and yelled "NO I don't know how to make that" first of all RUDE! Just simply walk over and say no we can't or sorry we don't do any substitution, not a big deal but don't tell across a small empty room. After me telling the cashier that I felt it was rude the manager walked over and apologized for her demeanor. I appreciate that but again due to service I will not be returning. However keep in mind stick with the strawberry tea on a hot day and you won't go wrong! read more

Ok, to the point... Terrible after new owners took over 2 months ago. The way the drinks are made are not the same. They have same ingredients but not the same brand, like the oatmilk for example is not the same. The new owners will claim its the same. You cant tell me that all 100+ tastebuds of my clients are wrong since new owner. I am from IL and this place was a staple to bring all my family and friends from across the United States to this place. They would go back and brag about this place in the Midwest. I have a huge client list for my business and this was always the first place I brought to. We developed a great relationship with the previous owner. She was very sweet and transparent with her drinks and ingredients. My friend was sooo obsessed with the strawberry milk that he would call her on video from 2000 miles away and she would tell him everything she would use so he can replicate it. I am owner of 4 businesses for 20+ years. The way this owner has taken over by switching brands of ingredients and destroying such a wonderful place and recipe is a tragedy. Way to destroy a brand. I hope the original owners are reading this, I want to propose an acquisition and fund "THE REAL THIRSTEA" to continue this legacy. I am sorry your brand has ended up like this. read more

This shop is literally sooo cute! My friend and I came here after lunch to study before having to go back to work. The workers were so nice to us and explained their entire menu to us before we ordered. I really enjoyed the strawberry green tea drink they had as it was not aggressively sweet! They also allowed me to try samples of wintermelon which I have always wanted to try but never had a chance to! The shop is cute, has ample room (and plugs) for studying, and of course has wifi! read more

First off, service was amazing! They greeted us as we walked in. Really appreciated that. There was no boba at the time but it was fine they did assure us it would be ready in 10 minutes. Reason for 4 stars is because there was nowhere to sit, as there was tables but had the chairs sitting upside down on them. Like I get it, but no. We came for the reviews and me and my wife loved the drinks. We would definitely be coming back, we just had to take the drinks to go since there is nowhere to sit inside. They must've had atleast 5 people working at the time so the drinks were ready in less than 5 minutes. Hopefully next time we go, we will have somewhere to enjoy our drinks. read more

I live in LA and drive down to San Diego often to see family. ThirsTea is the perfect stop for a pick me up when passing by Temecula. The shop is super cute (lol the thirsty af sign), kitchen is open and clean, music was dope, and the drinks themselves are tasty! They have the staples (jasmine milk tea, some fruity other green teas and coffee). I was excited to see some of my favorite extras like sea salt and marble cream. Also, their boba was cooked perfectly! Apparently ThirsTea has only been open for a little more than a month and I'm really excited about their potential. The strawberry green tea was surprisingly my favorite thing -- it was really refreshing since they blend it with real strawberries. Of all the places I've frequented, I haven't found many that are as thoughtful with their recipes. I ended up ordering a few drinks to go and when I told the cashiers that I had about an hour to travel, they thoughtfully offered to make the drinks without ice and they packaged them securely for my trip. I look forward to coming back and hope they get more tea selections as they continue to grow their menu. read more

After changing ownership, this place just isn't the same anymore. Used to be my go-to but after coming in today (3/23), the 3rd time since the new change, it's clear the quality just isn't up to par anymore. So sad!! Very big space - feels kind of bare but I know they just opened. Lots of tables and outlets to study in. Workers friendly & were accommodating when I didn't like the Thai-ger Milk Tea and requested to exchange it for the Marble Matcha. I was very intrigued to try this place because their drinks are super reminiscent of Omomo Tea Shoppe in Irvine/Chino Hills, from how their marble drinks look to their menu on the wall. It's pretty good though lol, a decent substitute if I'm not in the Irvine area. One tip though: when you're putting the boba in the drink, be careful not to put some of the liquid the boba are soaked in. I think that's why I didn't like the Thai-ger Tea & barely touched the boba when I had my replacement drink. That or I didn't like honey boba lol. The drink itself was good, I just don't think I would get the boba next time. Would come back :) read more

My issue with the pad thai was it was like 99.9% noodles and hardly any tofu. I mean, it's tofu, not the more pricey seafood or other protein. Other than that, this was far from my fav pad thai. I'd be willing to stop by again and try their curry or another dish but not for either of these.

I was in this place on Wednesday but was welcome by a very rude ladies , they need to learn how to have great costumer services I try to order my drink but she totally messed up so I did return today on 5/26 and wow I was so surprised on how nice and friendly this women was she amazing . I came on 5/26 Right before 9 pm the lady who working there super nice and friendly she great at costumer services . The boba was amazing and she made my drink super fast I was surprise on how fast it was made , but so good will definitely return over the weekend. Hopefully she works there everyday would love to see her, she amazing I believe her name was Anna but not exactly sure we got distracted by talking which drink is the best. But this lady is absolutely amazing on what she does she fast knows her recipes and you don't have to wait long time even that she was alone before closing and had couple people before me, but she knows how to get stuff done. During my visit, I was excited to try their boba drink, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I observed the young lady preparing my drink and noticed she added a significant amount of powder along with syrup. When I took my first sip, the taste was overwhelmingly of the undisolved powder, which was quite unpalatable. I inquired about the recipe and was informed that it was according to a book. I appreciate that your staff may still be getting used to the process, but I ended up asking for a refund. Unfortunately, neither of the staff members was sure of the procedure, as they mentioned being new employees. I then requested a remake of the drink without the powder. While this version was an improvement, it still wasn't great and the boba itself was hard. I believe that having new staff scheduled together may not be the best approach, as it could lead to situations like mine. I'm sharing this feedback in the hopes that it can help improve service and product quality for others going forward. read more

Strongly recommend this boba store I took my son yesterday for a quick slushy yesterday I was welcome by this nice lady we did Order a passion fruit slushy with mango popping boba . It was ready with in minute the lady who did the slushy is very fast paste she know what she doing and how it supposed to be done I was so surprised, I sadly had a phone call from work so we sit down and my son was enjoying his drink until a very nice lady walked by giving him a little paper and a pen to draw that was so sweet of her I got her name and it was Magdalena very tall and blond hair , she was the one who did the drinks and mostly everything since I sit there for 40 min didn't really see the other worker helping so much . Today i went in for my regular drink which would be Thai tea but when i got there I noticed that they changed the whole menu again which was a good surprise. So i did not order the Thai Tea i went with the Jasmine Green Tea with sugar no creamer for the TeaPresso and oh my god let me tell you it was good and fresh made in front of my eyes , by the new store manager . Congrats to her she is doing an amazing job on running this little shop. I will be definitely coming back for more drinks i wanna try every flavor of their new Menu now , I also recommend this place it did change a lot with the new owner but there is very nice people working their and they know how to make every drink taste good but also come true. read more

I order 5 different drinks this lady was all alone after 6 pm the restaurant was full of people but she manage to make my drinks within 10 min which I was surprised, really good costumer services . She did tell that she was alone all and apologized for the wait but she did good , I definitely recommend this store especially when Anna is working . I came today about 20min I was welcome by rude employees not sure why they even work there with that kinda attitude , the boba was perfectly cooked that the only good part about my visit , the drink was not good at all I also notice they don't measure anything maybe that why my drink tasted so sweet full of sugar , I know they have a new management but I though it would be much nicer here the place looks amazing I love the different colors but the costumer service and making the drink is horrible . When I walked in I was welcome by a nice young man the other worker was dead silence there was no music playing , also the boba was very hard not soft and chewy like always is , if the employees don't know how to cook boba then why they are still there this is horrible . I will be calling tomorrow to speak with the manager of this store I did get food poisoning from the boba since it was raw and not cooked all the way . I came in on 5/24 The drink i got was delicious!!!!! One of the best boba places. I haven't been in a while but it is still so good! The atmosphere is welcoming and sweet. The place itself did change on the inside but it still looks nice. The workers changed as well but the two girls working at the time were so sweet and welcoming. It was good to see that there are still good employees working there. The boba was sweet and chewy and I LOVED the texture. The drink itself was also good and tasted the same way it has as before. Absolutely me and my boyfriends favorite place to go ! The employees are the nicest and most considerate people and recommend me a good drink everytime I'm confused about whah to get.
