I'm laughing at myself a little as I write this review because this is the first time I've had a drink that was not sweet enough. I like boba and my partner likes boba so we end up getting boba often. We knew when visiting San Diego that we would be looking for boba spots as well. When I get my drinks, I typically prefer them less sweet and I find that more often than not, when I order a drink at 50% sweetness it's still too sweet for me. My default is therefore 25%. I ordered the peach green tea at 25% sweetness and laughed when I took a sip because it was actually not sweet at all and definitely needed some sweetness! It's just never happened to me that I've had a drink that lacked so much sweetness. However, the tea tasted great, although bitter, and I still got the peach flavor and it wasn't artificial, which I appreciated. My partner ordered a rose milk tea with boba and my goodness his milk tea was delicious. I was surprised that there was a good rose flavor and it was creamy! The boba was on the harder side but not by too much. The staff were very friendly and kind here. They've got a huge lot for parking and a cute little ThirsTea sign you can take pictures in front of for all your Instagram folks. read more

Ok hands down, the best milk tea for the Temecula area so far, and here's why: Wife and I are from the Bay Area (if you know you know) and been boba connoisseurs since 2013. It's hard to find good boba outside the BayArea or LosAngeles area. Now, that's our opinion. We are trying more and more as we speak. When we came across ThirsTea now that we live in Temecula, we felt rejuvenated and as we indulged the milk tea flavors, it really brought back memories from home, therefore, it's passes our test of what you call "Good Boba" We've tried many other boba shops in the area and those just gave off food chain taste and nothing special whatsoever. Atmosphere (3.5/5): Beautiful interior decor and good music, HOWEVER I feel really bad for the workers as the setup is pretty much open and can see EVERYTHING they do even just from driving by. Yes on the consumer side might be good so you can see everything they do, but I remember also being a teenager in the service industry, It was awesome to have some sort of privacy and not feel micro-managed or watched 24/7. Besides that, awesome branding, beautiful decor, and I hope employees at least as some type of "enclosed break room." This is just my Opinion of what we saw and experienced. We came in on a saturday evening and there was only 1 waitress there. We waited for longer than 15 min to get our 5 drinks which didn't taste good. The pina colada smoothie only had coconut taste (no pineapple taste at all). The 2 other fruit teas were also too sweet (despite us asking for 50% sweetness). We asked the waitress to remake the smoothie but she said to wait for another 15 min (because she was busy serving other customers). We ended up walking out of the store feeling dissatisfied with our drinks. On our way out, there was also a rude customer yelling at us (despite not having any business with us). Whoever owns this location should staff at least 2 employees on a weekend. All drinks were also too sweet. You need to ask for sweetness level while ordering. read more

Still on my current taro boba obsession, I came across Thirstea! It's more out of the way than I'd hoped (we were on the way from SD to Menifee), but it did not disappoint! I'm conflicted. I use to come to this place a lot when I lived down the street and since returning today I am not sure I will ever return. Drinks were moderately priced typical as any other boba place out in the area. I ordered a strawberry slush, two peach and passion fruit teas with boba & a jasmine milk tea with boba. I told them I wanted no ice in my jasmine since it was going in the fridge to have later. Told me it wouldn't be filled up to top of the cup lol. Kind of weird in my opinion. I think if you're paying close to $6 per drink it should be filled up to the top regardless if they want ice or not. I see a lot of pictures that people post that their drink has a lot of ice in it. I don't know I'm just not a fan. I don't think I'll come back for that reason. Kind of rubbed me the wrong way. It's ok. Wouldn't recommend it. And for the people who will read my review and think that I'm being ridiculous I have never had this happen to me at any other boba place. If I say no ice the drink quantity doesn't change because of ice. As far as the flavors go, basic. They were ok. Simple as that. The flavoring of the tea needs more syrup. read more

This used to be my favorite boba place until the owner sold the place, the employees were so rude and they messed up the recipes. My nephew's drink just tasted like syrup nothing else, my niece's boba was hard and my friend's drink tasted just like sugar and then my nephew went to see if one of the drinks at the counter was ours and this girl gave my nephew the ATTITUDE and said THAT'S NOT YOUR'S KID and my nephew didn't even pick it up and the large isn't even a large it is literally the exact size as the regular and they put new things to sell and they always say in 2 to 3 weeks they will be in stock but they aren't in stock and the customer service is horrible. And before the change the walls had cool designs and now it does even look nice. I absolutely hate this place now, I am not going back there again and I absolutely do not recommend this awful place read more

Wow! Very impressed with this place. Coming from out of town decided to try this place. It's a fairly good size with building with a simple yet beautiful interior. The menu is simple smaller than your average tea/ boba shop but they have really good selections. I got the Matcha Taro Slush and it was BOMB.COM the right amount of sweetness and it was very addicting I would highly recommend. They only have one size and it's a really good size almost like a medium size for a really good price of $4 to 4.50 per drink. They have oat milk as a substitute for thoes who doesn't like the regular I their milk tea but it's only applicable to the drinks with a red dot. Overall I would highly recommend this place the drink I got was very good. And the customer service was great they were very friendly. read more

First time here this morning. Went in for a thai tea for my friend, and a honey milk tea with boba for myself. Added some sea salt cream to my honey milk tea. That stuff gets me all the time! We both liked how they tasted. Cute little joint near my bank. Doesn't have a lot of seating, but there is a huge table right when you walk in. The girl who helped me was friendly, and she had just made the boba, so it was fresh! Small menu, but I kinda like that they have one size for everything (24 oz to be exact). Next time, I'll try their mangoñada. I'm a sucker for those, and the price is cheap compared to most I've seen! Don't forget to take your infamous pic by the wall before you head out! Was in the area craving boba and stopped here on a whim. I ordered a mango black tea with honey boba and my fiancé ordered a peach slush with boba. My fiancé enjoyed his drink and said he would definitely order it again if we were up in Temecula. I thought the mango flavor came out nicely on my tea however, it was WAY too sweet. When we had ordered, we weren't asked for a preferred sweetness level nor did we see a sign so I didn't think about it but it would be nice to know we could adjust it. With that said, the honey boba was great and the texture/chew was perfect. Would do again but choose a much much lower sweetness level! read more

This was our first time trying Thirstea and we were NOT disappointed! The only reason why I didn't give it a full 5 Star review, is because the boba was a bit too firm for me. Came here during soft opening (twice). Funny thing was that me and my bf were the first customers! Anywho, loved the drinks. We did the suggestions of the strawberry milk (literally is what it's called), strawberry green tea (same as it's called), and the marble Thai tea (sea salt cream mixed with it). The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The aesthetic of the store is nice. It simple, and cute. I enjoy that it's mainly teas at this boba place. It's also rare for me to like most of the drinks at a place (or the ones suggested). Downside is parking little small, but the drinks are worth it! Will be coming back again soon ~ read more

Super sweet Taro marble, but I love it! I eat a lot of chocolates and other sugary treats so when someone says it's super sweet, I don't generally believe them lol. But in this case, this is true. This drink is ridiculously sweet. But aside from that, I love it! 5 star all the way as I do recommend it and I will go back here again if I'm ever in the area.
