I REALLY wish I could open my own Thirsty Beaver in Orlando! This was by far my favorite place to go to while on vacation! The staff here is amazing. Lauren made us feel like we had known her for years and definitely made our trip memorable! The food here is awesome! I had the Mac Attack log rolls my first visit which are egg rolls deep fried with mac n' cheese and bbq pulled pork inside. My second visit I had a pizza special called Brady's Back that consisted of turkey, avacado, tomato, bacon, cajun ranch and cheese! So delicious! They have a full bar and a great selection of craft beer on tap with ice cold glasses! I loved the laid back atmosphere! The place looks like a cabin and had a large bar inside with a bunch of tables and chairs as well and also offers patio seating which would be great on a nice day. We were always there during the day on a week day, but I did see that there are a bunch of events that go on at night such as trivia! Solid food selection on the "foodie" trend. Sweet and spicy cauliflower, cheddar bites, great drinks. The only reasons for the -1 Star: the bar ( where I sat both times I ate here) is extremely deep. I couldn't reach the condiments across from where I was seated at the bar. The service is slow. Both times I was there at lunch time. Only one server on. Despite being solo the Server/bartender very pleasant. The space is very small. The food is good. A little high for the area but I've already been twice the last vet months. You can tell that management has really thought things through. The decor, the theme, the menu... everything is spot on and consistent. There are special nights for different events like karaoke, wing night, and taco night. The bar is big and inviting. Chalk boards line the walls with game times and drink specials. There are several board games and a fancy digital juke box available in the back of the dining area. It's great to see that they really try to distinguish themselves from within the area's inundated market of sports bars and gastropubs. I came in for the wings and stayed for the egg rolls. Oh man. Both flavors of wings we tried were tasty, but the sriracha honey were amazing. The steak and cheese egg rolls were out of this world. We tried a pizza from the special menu, a play on a big mac, and it was very well executed. Nice grilled crust. On top of all this, the waitress (Lauren) was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and super attentive. She checked in on us just about every time she walked by and always with a big smile. I've heard some complaints about the Thirsty Beaver but I really enjoy it. They have a lot of specials and their tots of all different flavors are yummy! I like how the place feels like a barn. We sat at the bar this visit and ordered some wings. They were so good. We had the buffalo honey mustard and the bbq ranch. The meat itself was also moist and fresh. Service was ATROCIOUS. It took 45 minutes to get the Mac Daddy - which is literally just mac and cheese, cheese curds, and scallions - and then the dish came without scallions. When we asked to get them, first we were told they didn't have them by the server. Then she said she could ask the manager if the cooks could cut them up. What?! The manager, Devon, came over and said they weren't expecting to be so busy (it was a Saturday night), and that he could go back and cut them up but it would take time away from the other orders the cooks were making. So basically our order wasn't important?! When Devon finally brought the scallions, he carelessly put the cups on the table, spilling several of them. Two of the three of us in our party sat with empty water cups for the entire meal, and no one offered to refill them. I had a group dinner here one night and went out for drinks another night. I love the atmosphere at the Thirsty Beaver. Great food that is reasonably priced and the service is exceptional as well! I ordered the Huck's Great Adventure and it was absolutely delicious. It is a crispy chicken sandwich with Buffalo Honey Mustard sauce on the breast. The Brioche Bun was fresh and the breast was juicy and cooked to perfection. It had a different, but amazing taste to it. My co-worker ordered the same and made the same comments. We ordered food from here recently and just about everything was good. We had a flatbread pizza, bone in wings, the potato tot nachos, the Mac n cheese, and the tenders. I loved the look of this place as soon as we pulled in the parking lot. It is a cute little wooden cabin and everything is beaver themed. There is a large bar, a hand full of 4 tops, and the middle of the restaurant consists of long wooden tables and benches. I stopped by with 6 girlfriends for a quick martini and some appetizers. The espresso martini was SO good. We all split the buffalo chicken dip and nachos with chili. The food was good and the drinks are strong. The "beef short rib" was fatty and tough. The broth was bland. There was an entire crown of broccoli uncut in the bowl. The Cilantro was barely cut up and I got like 6 stems twisted together. Broccoli and celery were also underdone. The soy egg was just bizarre and so salty. The place is corny in theme but clean and has a huge bar as well as tables to choose from. We snuggled up to a nearly full bar. The crowd seems to be mostly 20 somethings with a mix of regulars of all ages. The highlight of our first visit here was definitely the bar tender! She was so high energy and nice...she made me want to stay way longer than I should on a week night! She was quick and attentive to everyone and was going from pouring beers to craft cocktails to shots with ease - while still making eye contact and fielding questions and requests! The place was 90% packed, food was ok...but took 40 minutes to get, and even then was partly incorrect. It took another 20 minutes to get it right, and it seemed like our server could care less. We've frequented the Smithfield one and so we decided to check the Cranston one out as we were in the area. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is this location kinda sucks. However, the portions are still gigantic, the cider was cold and our waitress was attentive and good. There's really not much to say about it. The atmosphere is casual, the selection of beers is plentiful, the plates are overflowing to the point of we all have enough for dinner tonight from the leftovers. The inside boasts a large bar that looks like it's made of trees. The lights are made to look like logs. It's a small Place but has a lot of seating. I prefer to sit at the bar. The bartender there is awesome. I can't remember her name but she's always there. She's welcoming and friendly. She checks on you and makes sure your drink is kept filled and belly full. Speaking of drinks im a bit of a beer geek and am always on the lookout for a great craft beer menu. This place has it. Captions daughter. Dogfish head 120 minute IPA. It changes all the Time and the beer alone makes it worth going. The food though. The food. Again amazing. The burgers there. Juicy and cooked well. The waffle fries seasoned and tasty. The pizza grilled and generous with toppings. My favorite food there is definitely the apps. The log rolls which are egg rolls Come in a variety of flavors. I love the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. It is crispy Crunchy and flavorful. The wings oh the wings. They come in many different flavors but I have not had any others than the maple siracha ones because they are that good. Heat and spice and sweet all in one. Terrible Conceptually it sounds cool. The catchy name sucked me in. Very brightly lit place with horrible music playing on the radio. Draft beer, they do have a decent selection, however it was flat and tasted like the lines were dirty. Yuck! Now for the worst part, The Food! They had a special that day on wings and sold us on them so we said yes. Bad idea! They served us the smallest wings I have ever seen, I think they were pigeon wings. Gave this place another try after having a few good visits an a few bad ones. But I have to say. Everything we ordered recently has been perfect. Sundays are my favorite because the special is a buffalo chicken pizza (enough for three people) and a pitcher of domestic beer for $18. Amazing deal! We also ordered the fried pickles and an order of wings. The regular buffalo chicken wings are tasty and the fried pickles were good. My fiancé is always very happy with the Cranston Girls Wrap! And I have to admit, it is pretty tasty for something with no meat in it. One of my friends I was with ordered boneless buffalo chicken strips and was not impressed. However, I had them for leftovers and they were the BEST thing I've had from this place. Extremely tender and loaded with great buffalo flavor while still being crispy on the outside. They usually have a nice seasonal option for draught and my friends ordered the Traveler's Shandy that was a pomegranate flavor. Sundays are great here because they have the game on. I try to come when there's no music because the tv's alone are pretty loud. But the visual layout and ambiance are very appealing to me and the bathrooms are always clean. My husband and I decided to order Grub Hub tonight and came upon Thirsty Beaver. We only live about a mile away, but never tried it before. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that came with baked fries. My husband had the buffalo chicken wrap with an upgrade to tater tots. I was happy that everything arrived nice and hot and within a reasonable time window. All special requests for my sandwich were done. The only thing that I didn't like was the baked fries were not baked enough. Luckily, I have a convection oven and heated them some more. Next time I will ask for well done. This place is a step up from chains like Applebee's and Chili's. We would try it again sometime. read more

The bartender doesn't greet you when you sit at the bar. If anything she will walk to the opposite end of the bar as though you have to earn your drink by waiting. Unless you're one of her friends then you'll get special treatment. It's as if she's doing you a favor to eventually serve you. The last time I attempted to sit at the bar, the bartender, Loren, cocked her head and said "he's expecting someone" referring to her friend who was sitting there. She didn't say hello or smile or direct me to a different open seat. There are some waitresses who give superior service and seem to have fun and enjoy their job if you sit at a table. Thirsty Beaver has been on my Yelp bookmarks list for what feels like forever now. Today I actually had the opportunity to come in for a late lunch/early dinner by way of a friends suggestion. We arrived around 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and I was surprised to see how busy it was. Like your typical bar atmosphere, bar seating was packed with heads faced forward to watch whatever sports games were on. The bartender told us to sit wherever we'd like, so we chose a table next to the wall. Our waitress greeted us about 5 minutes later to give us menus and take our drink orders. The first cider I ordered they no longer had, and she didn't believe me that it was still listed on their drink menu. The second cider they also didn't have. I had to go with the last cider option available, not my favorite, but I wanted cider and didn't have a choice. I ordered the Knightsville White pizza: mozzarella, parmesan, feta, and romano cheeses with fresh herbs and garlic. For the price it was a great size and I have leftovers for another day or so, and it was pretty tasty to boot. Nice thin crust, my fav. This place is only getting 3 stars based solely on the service. It seemed to me they were unprepared and understaffed as there was only one waitress for the entire floor, and given that there were about 30 of us in the place, one server simply doesn't cut it. Would I go back? Mmmmmmaybe. But I'm certainly in no rush. Also, I'm pescatarian, bordering vegetarian, and they don't have many options for us non-carnivores but I did happen to notice quite an extensive selection of the ever popular gluten free options, if you're into that sort of thing. read more

They were pretty good. Cooked well, very meaty wings, pretty good sauces. Only minor things, I like my wings swimming in sauce, they don't do that but I'm sure I could have asked for more (that's on me) and I was surprised the wings didn't come with celery or carrots. For the sake of the quality of the product, nachos shouldn't be an option for delivery if you can't even take them apart. This is a cool little place in Cranston it's right off at Wells. The Decour inside is kind of childish little beavers everywhere and with a name like "thirsty beaver" you would assume the lease be one stripper pole. But there isn't. Lol! Great for groups. Great selection of beer. It's almost like walking into a log cabin, however they do have an updated jukebox that's pretty cool. It has a country and feel brings me back to my Texas roots. The waitress was so sweet and patient, for our large party. My cosmo just wasn't hitting on anything though. She even offered to get me another and not charge for the one I didn't like. Someone else in the party drank it, so I paid for it and just tried another Cosmo. Nope. No good again. But i just drank it and let it go. I did try some of the food others had(at their insistence). The vegetarian pizza, that had a drizzling of balsamic vinegar, was soooooooooooooooo delicious, with its' thin crust. Yum yum!!! The wings were rather bland but not bad. Nice bar Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a couple of friends. The place wasnt busy at all and was seated right away. The bar is actually very nice, looks like a log cabin on the outside and in as well I thought it was a really cool touch and added to the bar. it also have two garage doors that they turned into windows which i thought was really cool. This week we visit, The Thirsty Beaver Hometown Pub & Grub in Cranston, one of two locations; the other located in Smithfield. It's a classic pub restaurant with a special twist, the restaurant is constructed as a log cabin with décor to match. From floor to ceiling, authentic bark are stacked on top of one another. There are even logs for lights! We arrived to taste a few dishes from their weekend brunch menu and are happy to recommend the Pulled Pork Bennie and Risky Biscuits. They did not disappoint! The pulled pork was moist which is always a plus. That should always be a given but sadly not always the case when dining out. The home fries were well seasoned and speaking of seasoned, the biscuits were baked with chives which were a delicious surprise. The pub is known as a fantastic place to meet friends and family or watch the game. It's open seating makes for a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
