Flying solo, I first sat at the counter overlooking the kitchen, where I saw the cooks being exceptionally clean and careful and everything they made looked delicious. I topped it off with the raspberry key lime pie which was a huge piece that would satisfy 2-4 people! Lesson obviously not learned. Second trip l had to try the fish. As a suggestion by my wonderful server, I tried the Triple Tail which I wanted Blackened, because that's my favorite and it was served over a great salad. The fish was delicious, white and moist, but not actually Blackened. I will never learn that most every restaurant doesn't actually make real Blackened anything, but it was still pretty tasty. Again I chose dessert and again it was enough for multiple people, and I ate the whole thing. UGH! I don't suggest it. The murals are cool and well done, the menus and specials are diverse, and there's a full bar too. I will be back to try more items, but I won't be ordering dessert again unless I have reinforcements. Enjoy!

We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

Sunday 9/23/18 1 pm The good , the bad , and the ugly. Met friend to watch Giants as bar is Giant fan friendly. Very nice place inside and out. Dog friendly outside which I dig. The good was we were served by a pleasant and polite young lady even though she was outside and it was 90 degrees and packed. Baked clams and wings were awesome. Best I ever ate .Now the bad they had no clams for happy hour even though the specials are basically clams, bummer. Now the ugly , We sat outside because inside had a wait for over a hour even though it was hot as Africa. Ordered drinks and after about 20 minutes asked to put in for a table inside because it was too hot, well I guess this is not allowed because some creepy old crank pot manager came out like a nasty prick and said we would have to move from the table we were at even though we had been there 20 minutes and ordered about $30.00 in drinks already and to sit at a bench until the other table inside was ready. When asked why he just growled some crap because people are waiting for tables.Then he ask for beeper for other table when we told him we never got one I guess he realized and skulked away .What was the difference , when the other table was ready would have closed out and tipped waitress and went to the next table . Decided I wouldn't cause waves and we stayed at that table so as not to upset my my wife and friends. I think this nasty little things name was Ed as no employees would tell me his name. Someone should teach this loser some customer service because if he would have been nice I probably would have understood. Maybe the next person he does that to won't be as nice as I was and teach him some manners like I wanted to. read more

If you're in the Juno Beach area, do yourself a favor and stop by Thirsty Turtle. This local spot completely exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, packed with flavor, and took classic bar favorites to another level. As I sit here I will write this, the food is good but as for the service it SUCKS!!! Our waitress actually spoke to me as if I were an idiot. She served two tables that arrived and sat way after us, and really only cared about her costume. She was dressed as a vampire, wow hope her makeup does not leak in my food after she touched it with her hand that keeps running through her hair. As you can tell I'm quit annoyed. They are known for wings and what I got the last 2 times were tiny, small, barely any meat on the bone wings! I love them crispy and well done like they always do, but these things i got tonight I couldn't even get anything off of the wing. Never have I complained about these wings in the 15+ years I've been going here. They usually are always meaty wings. Won't be back for a while. Best wings in northern Pb county. Extra crispy sauce on the side! Fresh fish too. Huge fan of fish sandwich and some wings w/ a cold beer. Staff is awesome. Waitresses friendly. The manager is a disgusting pig. The door said they're hiring for a host/hostess position part time and full time. When my boyfriend asked about it the manager replied, "sorry we're only looking for YOUNG GIRLS". No wonder all the waitresses and hostesses seem timid, they're working in a hostile environment.
