The bartenders and the server girls are wonderfulEspecially the girls that have been there for a long time, like nicole and tiffany. However, there has been a continuous problem with the manager dan who always has something weird to say to any employee and makes it worse? Because he says it in front of the whole restaurant and makes them look stupid or attempt to make them look stupid and demean them. I was recently there and he was feeding the girls food from his own fork, and it was very awkward and uncomfortable for my wife. The way he speaks and cusses to the people and says, what do you not know how to do math? Do you know not know how to read? The change over of shifts should be addressed by management. We waited 20 minutes for drinks and were told they were being made. Asked the server if we could put in an appetizer order while we wait and she said they were changing shifts and we'd have a new server. The new server was not even informed we had ordered drinks and seemed overwhelmed with walking into multiple tables. Thirsty Turtle SeaGrill was a place I visited pre-YELP* so that translates to the 90's. This time around, in April 2022, I ducked in while being too early for a local meeting. Sat at the bar in the mid-afternoon hour and the place was very crowded, very busy. I like seeing that in a small business restaurant for locals. It WAS Easter weekend - makes sense. I ordered the white fish dip with cracker and jalapenos. Mmmm.... mmmm..... good. The aroma in the Thirsty Turtle was all good, fresh fish, grilled, fried, any and all. People were happy. This used to be our favorite spot for wings in the entire area. They used to be large, meaty wings and the sauce was delicious. I noticed a few months ago the wings seemed different and again tonight, was extremely disappointed. I had 10 of the puniest overcooked wings I think I've ever had. Really terrible experience with the food. Going to go elsewhere. The rest of the food at this place was never very good... I can't even say I wish I could rate this place higher. There are so many better places around and candidly, there were no redeeming qualities about this place. The service was slow and indifferent. The signature drinks were very odd overly sweet. The steamed clams were obviously frozen and microwaved. And the strangest thing to occur was some patron used a cordless drill to remove a floor plank in order to retrieve a set of keys that dropped in a crack. While I appreciate the guy doing this, why was this possible in the first place? We were on the "deck" but it wasn't a real deck, more like just a back bar area with a wood floor. Heck, where we were seated there were no spaces between boards at all. So why am I going on about this? It was the best thing about the place. That is how lame and uninspiring it is. I was in town with friends to celebrate the Jupiter Golden Jubilee and a large group of us enjoyed dinner here last Friday evening on the patio with all our goldens. We received awesome service, our server was always right there checking on us, we never waited on anything. I got the Conch Fritters and an order of the Wings - medium and also several Turtle Teas. The wings were very good - moist, meaty and the bbq sauce had the perfect level of sweet heat. The conch fritters were very good but would have been even better if served with a raspberry dipping sauce like I've gotten at a couple of other restaurants, I'm a big fan of the sweet & savory combination. The Turtle Tea was refreshing but definitely snuck up on you. Everyone in our group absolutely loved the restaurant and the staff, we were treated so nice and everyone loved interacting with the pups. read more

Told Chrissy and ordered a blackened mahi mahi sandwich which was fine. The bill reflected a perfect meal, no even the offer of a free beer. We've been coming here for about 20 years. I really like the smoked fish dip on a cracker with a jalapeño on top. My kids usually get chicken tenders which appear to be fresh battered in the kitchen. Their chicken wings are worth waiting for. Fresh fish selection is good too. Pretty sure I've had just about everything on the menu and can not recall anything that wasn't to my liking. We came in through the back patio and went to the hostess at the main entrance. We asked for the first available table she told us the wait would be 50 mins. She hands me the buzzer and I ask do these work in the whole shopping plaza as there was no one else waiting other than 1 couple. So I take our buzzer and go to the back patio - the waitress asked us if the hostess seated us outside -I said no but no one here so we just sat down at one of the many empty tables and are waiting to be seated -20 mins pass In the meantime a couple with a dog comes and sits at a table outside and gets service immediately no need to see the hostess - 30 mins pass The hostess comes for us outside and brings us back inside she says to please wait for the next table available another couple comes in and asks for the wait time she says 5 mins and then proceeds to take them to their table .40 mins At that I walk up to her and ask why is it we are the only ones with an 50 min wait time when there are free tables and people are being seated before us She takes us to an outside table- the couple with the dog are done eating by now and new people are already at the tables. The waitress comes up and asks us what we would like to drink I said I have no idea bc I don't have a menu . She says ohh the hostess didn't give you one and a new waitress comes out with menus - bc it was too much burdening the last one for menus By this time I seriously regret not leaving after hearing the little hostess tart say 50 min wait but we call the manager . He comes out and says " I don't know what happened I was in the office " We stood up and left I just wish I had figured out much earlier that it was mob mentality that was making us the beacon of their insider joke SHORTENED VERSION : You're not acknowledged here if you're not their kind of people . Thanks Thirsty Turtle. You finally lost another long time customer. Service has always been great and food as well. The ownership at this location has made some critical mistakes and they cannot be overlooked. Now buyer beware. To show you how short sighted and ignorant they have become, now they are charging a fee for using a credit card. Let's not forget that they also have had several new menus since covid raising the $ of the food and a glass of IPA is at or above $7. Do they not realize that people spend more money when they use a credit card versus cash? So here is what is going to happen. Servers will now make less in tips; servers will quit; revenue will decline; and they will lose patrons. Also, to make matters worse, they did not even post this additional charge anywhere. I will take my money, family and friends to another establishment that will appreciate my business. read more

Don't ask for wings if you're expecting buffalo style. They don't have buffalo sauce. Not sure what the sauce they use is called but it's not very good. Visited this location after a long day at the beach and it was good. Table of 4 and we ordered a pound of peel and eat shrimp and 50 chicken wings. The shrimp we ordered half chilled and half steamed. I would not order these again -- they were unseasoned and the chilled were mushy. The wings on the other hand were incredible. Perfect amount of sauce. We wanted 25 mild and 25 medium. We were told you couldn't split the order (which is a little ridiculous), but that's okay. We ended up going with the medium and the flavor was perfect. It does have some red chili flakes and provided more flavor than just heat. I would return just for the wings. They are fatty and crisp at the same time. The blue cheese was good, then ranch was meh. Our waitress checked in several times and kept the drinks coming. I would definitely return. read more
