Absolutely incredible. Talk about a diamond in the rough! They have an extensive list of martinis. We aren't martini people but did the Hawaiian and Poppy Seed and they were phenomenal. Had two appetizers, Vietnamese Spring rolls and beef, really good. Ordered the garlic pepper beef and banana duck for dinner, tasty. Had the egg rolls ice cream dessert, also superb. I've been to Thithi's a couple of times. Every time I have been met with excellent service and delicious food. The feel of the place is exactly what I enjoy. It's like having dinner at your aunts, at the kids table. The plates may not match, it's small inside, but you still leave felling fulfilled. The basil Catfish is amazing!!! Drunken noodles, fabulous. Martinis - amazing! Thithi is just fabulous, she always makes time for her guests. I always feel well fed, well drank and well served here. Absolutely delicious! I had the Pad Ki Mao (drunken noodles). It was so delicious! It was light, but very filling - even a lot for leftovers the next day. This place is excellent!!! We started off with drinks, all great. We ordered appetizers, the avocado crispy rolls, the asparagus crispy rolls, and the Vietnamese BBQ wings which were awesome. Definitely recommend them. I ordered the pineapple curry shrimp. It was great, very flavorful, not too spicy, served with a side of rice. Portion size was more than enough. Vicki was our server and the customer service was great, no long wait (on a Wednesday night). Overall the food was great and the experience was great. I will be going back again. read more

Great cocktails, great food, but the service needs improvement. I visited on a saturday night with 2 friends. We started out with the avocado egg rolls which were delicious. We tried the thai fried rice, pad thai and pad woo sen. All were great. The martinis were awesome. The cucumber ginger was my favorite. The service was just off and very slow. I never really knew who our waiter was. There were 4 people running around. The only person that seemed to have a dedicated role was the bartender. Didn't seem like anyone had a dedicated job. I will still go back but I hope they can get the service straightened out. read more

This was the place I chose for my birthday lunch with my coworkers and have to say that although several of them aren't very adventurous eaters, everyone enjoyed what they ordered and said they wanted to return. It was lunch so no crowd-- we were seated right away. I had the Mi Xao Don and also sampled the Drunken Noodles, both dishes were very flavorful and served hot. The Nutty Shrimp looked great with lots of large shrimp. Although I didn't try the Pad Thai my coworker really liked it and it looked very appetizing. The food was delicious and the restaurant staff very friendly and happy. They even put a candle on our dessert and sang to me. The portions are large even on the lunch special menu. Definitely will return (chocolate egg roll!!--need I say more). read more

We were looking for a new dining experience and Donnie one of our members, stated let's try Titik's not the right spelling. We agreed, of course on that day only Donnie and myxelf showed up. The food was fantastic, I had the sea food bowl delievered hot in s large oblong white ceramic type, bowl elegant. Elegance shoulg be the first pasrt of this redtaurant name. Service is good, courteous, friendly and atomsphere soothing not boring. The food combined with this setting is a can"t miss great evening. The other reviews are spot on. The wife and I went last night 10/3/15, Saturday, and the waiting was insane! I'm a bit OCD with time, so we sat at 6:11pm. No waitress or order taken at all until 6:26. No drink until 6:34pm. 23 minutes until water and cocktail arrived. Just awful, really. The spring rolls are bland and nothing special. No different than any place I've ever had them. Skip them for sure. The Vietnamese BBQ wings were fresh and awesome. We then waited 40 minutes for the rest of our meal! 40-45 minutes! The last ten of which we were just getting frustrated and in disbelief. The place is not that big, and from prior reviews, they clearly refuse to acknowledge they need more staff. Not many workers on the floor. The Pho was not very good, but my wife said the Pad Thai was the best she ever had. My advice, pick it up! Don't eat in at this place. Save yourself the frustration. People don't pay $80-$100 to go out to eat for terrible service and a very chaotic experience. Get it together Thi-This. You owe your customers more for their $. The moral of the story is don't go out to eat here folks. The food is good, but pick it up! read more

I think the thing to do here is order lots of appetizers and skip any main entrees. There is a wide enough variety of them to fully satisfy any appetite. The entrees are on the expensive side for the fare. We had the cargo and shrimp appetizer that was in a really tasty broth and the escargot very tender. We also had the seafood rolls that were real tasty. One of our entrees was supposed to have shrimp and scallops, but the shrimp was forgotten and promptly brought out when pointed out that they were amiss. Ribs were just okay and the drunken noodles have a nice texture. The chicken it contained though was pretty dry. Drinks were very good. All in all it just seemed like we spent a lot of money for the type of venue and the location. Next time I'll just go with the appetizers and save a little money. read more

I had decided to come here last minute,since I read such "raving" reviews about the quality and flavor of their food and lately the other Thai restaurant, chi tung had been of poor taste, not as good as it used to be, I ordered the drunken noodle tofu, avocado crisp rolls and a slice of Godiva cake. The noodles..let me start with saying, ick, they were 15$ and a waste of money. I couldn't even eat more than a bite, smelled rancid, had like pepper on them, black pepper (?!) And just soggy. There were three small avocado rolls that also tasted just weird, the cake was "OK" but not 9$ ok , overall, should of stuck with ordering the crazy noodle from China tung or heck even see thru Chinese kitchen its cheaper and better! read more

I can't believe I just found this place and now I'm leaving!!! This is hands down not only some of the best Thai cuisine on the South Side and in Southland but among the best I've tasted in metro Chicago. I had shrimp dumplings and a bean thread noodle dish with chicken, shrimp and veggies that tasted like someone had just made it at home. Yum!!!! From the moment I walked in the door, the staff greeted me with a big,'genuine smile and "Hello." They were gracious and properly attentive throughout my meal. In fact, everyone who walked past my table looked to see if I needed anything, meaning they made eye contact. Classy. Can't wait to return at least once before I leave the city but this is a place I look forward to revisiting. read more

My husband and I had a fabulous experience at Thithi's. The interior is very pleasing and comfortable. The service was excellent, but we were there on a Sunday night when it was not too crowded. We had the asparagus crispy rolls, duo cargot, soldier of the sea and saffron scallops. Everything was fabulous and well presented. I can't believe this place was Snackville Junction. Well, my peanut-allergic kid isn't happy with the change, but I am. Finally got around to trying this place last Sunday night. It was truly excellent. It wasn't too crowded, as we didn't get there until 8:00. It sounds like the service might take a hit when it's really busy, but we were quite happy with our service. The food, though... really good. I'll try to remember what we ordered. 1. Vietnamese spring rolls. I liked them, but my wife didn't. The vegetables were cool and fresh. The wrapper was uncooked and a little doughy. I think that's what threw my wife. But I enjoyed it and the sauce that came with it. We had the asparagus crispy rolls, I think. Those were good as well. We also got pho. Excellent flavor! Even without the sauces, it was good. The noodles were a little difficult to pick up with a spoon, so we found a way to get them Italian style with a fork/spoon combo. My wife got the Jaret de porc, I believe. I tried some. Quite good. Mine was excellent though. I got the "nutty chicken." Everything was amazing, but something really stood out. I couldn't figure out what these little things were... I think either chick peas or maybe filberts. I couldn't tell, but they were obviously marinated beforehand, as they had a bit of a smoky flavor. I sought those out. The place is pretty nice, consider it used to serve hot dogs in plastic baskets via toy train! I'd take a date. I guess I did. Looks like a nice bar. Lighting and noise levels were good. I wish I could give a 2.5 because that is where Thithi's genuinely falls. There is a delicate line where price/ambiance meets expectation/flavor/portion, and I think this place errs a little too far on the former. I came into this place solely because I heard it was newer and hadn't tried it yet. My first impression rolling up was that the sign says "Martini bar," and French food. The French part is easy to see because much of the South-Asian world was influenced by French colonization. The martini lounge fell in line with the ambiance, because it felt much higher end than any Thai restaurant I'd ever been in. The prices reflected the ambiance as well (Roughly 50-60% higher than the "competition.) Food came to the table, and I had ordered my benchmark dishes, Panang Chicken and Tofu Pad See Ew. The portion was interesting in that the proportions were kind of odd. I.E, lots of sauce, not a lot of meat. Also, they were rationing my rice. In order to eat my entire portion of Panang, I ordered 2 additional rice cups, only later to find that they were charging $3 for each little serving. The flavor was good - the Panang was not at all spicy though, and a curry should have some inherent spice to it. The Pad See Ew was well done too, and other than the odd ratio of ingredients, it was sufficient. At the end of the day, it was an odd experience. The ambiance was fancier than expected with an emphasis on cocktails; food was priced much higher than other area Thai food; service was sufficient. This is the kind of place you take a girl you're trying to impress because you know up front its going to cost more and you can have a flashy martini, but, if you want great Thai food for an appropriate price, you know Thai Twin is calling you. read more

The food is AMAZING! Portions are definitely generous. I've been there twice. Once the day after they opened and the second time on New Year's Eve. And neither time was the service slow. New Year's Eve, every table was full and we still got pretty good service. It's a nice, more sophisticated, sit down Thai restaurant. Went here once and loved it. Have tried to go back twice (during the hours they are open) and the doors were locked with nobody inside. Both of the times that we tried to go back were on Sunday afternoons, so it's possible their hours have changed. Either that or they are no longer in business. Regardless I won't go back again, and to anyone who wants to try it I'd recommend calling to make sure they are open before wasting your time. read more

First time here! It won't be my last. Went on a Saturday around 6P without a reservation. Bad mistake but I didn't call ahead to ask. My bad. Waited an hour for a table. The owner was the BEST. She was so courteous and gracious and she made up for any delays in the service with her pleasant demeanor. They seemed slightly understaffed. Nice decor. The food was great. Had the $25 appetizer tray. It was overpriced for what you get. The chicken satay was dry and bland. Ordered the pineapple fried rice and garlic chicken. Yummy to both. This restaurant is a real gem and we are grateful to have it on the South Side of Chicago, in the suburb of Evergreen Park . I have been there four weekends in a row and every time the service and food are terrific. Try the porkchop dish! Everyone also agrees that their drinks are exceptional, made with the best alcohol of your choice. The mango martinis are my favorite, but one look at their bar and you will see the excellence of their offerings. Went here Thursday for lunch. We were the only customers for the hour we were there. Had the lunch specials @ $15 each. The chicken soup had abundant chicken and vegetables and a tasty Thai broth. The small egg rolls were served cold - they had been setting before service. The Thai entrees were very good - flavorful, plenty of meat. The service was attentive. The building itself was clean and attractive. Unfortunately, with prices about 50% more than the competitors within a mile, I don't think this restaurant will be able to survive. read more

We went here on a Sunday night, no problem with seating. We had meatball appetizer, which I'd say was just OK. Three in our party, one ordered a white sangria that had passion fruit and lychee accents and it was outstanding. Rest of us just had beer - one had Two Brothers Ale which made him excited as he is a big fan. Our entrees were all very much above average. Garlic chicken entree was nothing like Chinese garlic chicken. Had a lot of chili pepper influence, chicken lightly breaded and pan fried, really tasty. Then was a Vietnamese noodle dish with shrimp and scallops, tasted great! My order was confused and so glad it was: they brought out ribs in a delicious (similar to hoisin) sauce with sesame seeds, it looked beautiful, even had parsley sprinkled on top. I had ordered pork chop but was given a choice to keep this or wait for chop. This looked so good I said I'll keep the ribs. All of us tried them, loved them, and agreed it was the best mistake we could have hoped for. We will be back. Pleasant ambience- Asian with modern touches, Maria our server was very nice - brought me a free beer for the mixup on my order, but I'm a light drinker who is dieting so it wasn't barely touched. i first would like to say how excited I was to have a new somewhat upscale restaurant in our area. We have been missing one since Koda closed, which I loved. When I found out it was Vietnamese, French, and Thai fusion I was worried they took on too much, but still I was intrigued. I ordered the skirt steak, and potatoes, can't go wrong with French cooking. I was very disappointed. The flavor was OK, but the chef's technique was all wrong. There was soo much sauce that the potatoes that were supposed to be creamy turned to liquid, the sauce was far too watery, and they didn't mount any butter into it at all. I may be sounding a little snobby, but when you spend $100 on two meals, and two apps I feel I can be a little snobby. My wife's meal had issues too. She ordered the Ahi Tuna and it came improperly cleaned. Tuna steak has a blood line that needs to be removed, and hers wasn't. I am going to give it one more try, as I see there are numerous good reviews of their Thai food and I will stick with that. Maybe minimizing the menu, and mastering less is better then having items on the menu just for the sake of it. read more
