I was in the airport on a Sunday waiting for my flight and wanted to get dinner. The Greenville airport is small but has a few options. This is the only place near he United gate with hot food- so I'm pretty much a captured audience when starving. The woman next to me had the veggie wrap and she thought it could use some dipping sauce. It looked good but I wanted something hot. The guy on my right had the wings and he said they were good. They looked good. I had the burger. It was surprisingly (shockingly?) good! He patties are small but they are doubled up. The cheese was gooey. It came as requested- double lettuce and non pickle. Device was non-consistent. Jenn my bartender was good. But at one point a waitress was cleaning the restaurant area and put a stack of dirty dishes next to me on the bar. It was gross. Why? While GSP is close to opening up an additional sit down spot to relax after going through security, for the moment Thomas Creek Grill has a monopoly. It's small with perhaps 8 chairs tightly squeezed together at the bar. No purse hooks, nowhere to stash your bag, always busy. Seating throughout is cramped at best although it appears they have added additional tables gated off in the terminal itself. Since I usually travel to GSP on business, I prefer a seat at the bar rather than taking up a table for one. I usually stop here for a quick bite and glass of wine before my flight home. The food is average airport food. I've sampled their salads and wraps. This last visit the menu seemed more limited than before. The wrap I had ordered on a previous visit was no longer on the menu and to be honest none of the choices were appealing to me so I decided to stick with a salad. I have to admit to being presently surprised by the Greek salad with added chicken. My salad consisted of fresh, crisp romaine, Kalamata olives, tomatoes and a good amount of feta topped with surprisingly juicy and flavorful chicken. I thought it odd that the salad was served with a packet of Greek dressing, but was happy to see it was Ken's brand which is fairly decent rather than some house brand (House Brand Ketchup comes to mind.....ick!). While Thomas Creek Grill is more geared to beer lovers (beers are from Thomas Creek Brewery in Greenville), they do offer a very limited selection of house wine. Service at the bar is usually friendly and efficient. I think they could do a better job of keeping the restaurant clean and making customers comfortable, but I get that this is a fast paced, busy stop in an airport terminal. It will be interesting to see what the opening of Wolfgang Puck's Kitchen downstairs does to business here at Thomas Creek. Since that is not slated to open until October, for the moment Thomas Creek will be my spot to stop before my flight home. read more

At GSP airport, it's a place to get s decent meal and surprisingly good coffee. Very casual ambience , tight, barely adequate seating, good service. Burger was freshly cooked and still hot, but served on disposable plates but not recyclable, with plastic utensils. When you're desperate for basic food, this place will do. Thomas Creek is the only option for food and a adult beverage at Gate A. A bit leery, I wondered inside. I asked the bartender for water four times. I never received the water. This review is for food only. I was flying out of GSP and my local contact suggested that I check out TCB as they had heard good things. It's often hard to find good food at smaller airports, but I trusted them and walked over to check it out. The grill is located in the A Terminal, across from Gate 4 (Southwest). It's a pretty small offshoot of the main brewery that seats maybe 40 or so folks. Adjacent to the sit-down section is a carry-out register where you can order portions of the regular menu to go. The menu keeps things pretty simple with four or five appetizers, wraps, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. For lunch I chose to go with two appetizers, the fried pretzel bites and the mahi-mahi flatbread pizza. The pretzel bites ($7) were quite good. Frying them creates a nice little crunch to the pretzels. They are served with a beer cheese made with one of their house brews. The flatbread though, is the shining star. The flatbread was cut into four triangles and was covered with pesto, cilantro, tomatoes, mahi-mahi, and feta cheese. It was delicious! And the price ($10) was decent for amount of food that you got. Service was efficient. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I would definitely look to stop back here if I was ever flying through again. read more

Thomas Creek is one of two food options on the US Air, United, Southwest side of the A terminal. TC is a welcome addition as before post security was seriously lacking in food options and one was forced to eat the mediocre food at the windows restaurant (now closed) pre-security. I came by here at 5:00 pm one evening and the place was packed. I mean no space packed! Full of beer lovers! I'm surprised that they only built this small restaurant as I'm sure it could be twice the size! My review is without beer. I'm sure with beer my review may be higher as they appear to have a good selection! Another time! Nevertheless they do have takeout which is what I had opted for! My decision rested between the Cuban sandwich and the shrimp wrap. I decided to go with the shrimp wrap. I had a choice between fries or kettle chips so I opted for the kettle chips. The wrap was good but lacking in a bit of shrimp. Flavour was crunch with lettuce and a nice aioli type sauce. Overall it was a 3/5. For $10 I guess you can't really expect much more but I thought it was a bit skimpy on shrimp. Kettle chips did not have much salt and were nice and crispy. Overall not a fantastic experience but not horrible! I need to come back and have some beer with another meal! read more

One of two options in the terminal. It is a decent option though. They serve all sorts of Thomas Creek beers (imagine that!) on tap and have a good sized menu for a small place. I often visit this place for a quick bite before I fly and revisit for a few drinks when I get delayed. There are breakfast options so if you get here in the morning, you are in luck. read more

Very well done! The small cafe sized restaurant was packed. About a 10 minute wait for a table. Jessica was our waitress and was rocking it out on service, running food and drinks and waiting tables in super hero fashion. The kitchen staff was turning and burning tickets with a steady flow and not sacrificing quality in the process. We were here at 5 p.m. on Thursday September 24th. Managers, the staff tonight is a Rock star team. We loved our buffalo wings and buffalo chicken wrap and the folks next too us were raving about the mahi pesto flatbread. I went this bar for a couple drinks before my flight. I ordered a vodka soda with a lime. No questions of what vodka or if I wanted a double. Had to ask for a lime when I finally got the bartenders attention. I was told it was the last one. Fine, I used half and saved it for my second drink. Ordered another and my tab. Got my drink had to ask again for my tab 10 minutes later. Surprise to me the bartender poured Tito's but rang in a ketel one and a makers mark and said that it's the same price as Tito's. 28 dollars for two single Tito's and sodas is ridiculous for most airports let alone South Carolina. read more

There are two waitresses that are so incredibly nice. There is one male chef who is great. Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing good to say about this place. Nice place to wait for a flight. Super disappointing how much waste this place must generate on any given day. Not sustainable at all. Everything served was in non recyclable cups, on styrafoam plates, plastic straws, non recyclable utensils- trash, trash & more trash. They are doing absolutely nothing to help the environment. In addition we were told due to it being a Sunday alcohol could not be served until noon. We sat down at 11am to eat & watched beer be served at 11:45am to a different group of customers. read more

The server was very friendly and efficient. Food and drink came out quickly and the check was brought out soon after. It wasn't in a "rushing you out of here" way but a "we value your time and are ready to help when needed" type of way. They accommodated my weird request for a wrap sandwich without the wrap and it was okay. The mixed greens were actually more shredded lettuce, but it tasted alright and made me ready to take on the next flight. Try the local Thomas Creek beer if you have a minute to enjoy it! read more

Five stars for service. There's nothing too special about the place, and it's currently the only sit down place available in the A terminal at GSP. Erica J. does a fantastic job though. She has the perfect routine for an airport restaurant, working very efficiently to get you on your way while still being very courteous and attentive. It's pretty much the only place to eat at the airport so you don't have much choice if you arrive hungry. The food was decent, I got a burger and fries. The burgers look like the preformed variety but was seasoned well. The fries were ehhh. You can order beer, always a plus and they even have a local craft beer as the main one on tap. I have to say I got a little excited when I saw the Thomas Creek signage during our our one-hour delay in the airport. I have tasted and enjoyed their beer for a while and it ended up being perfect spot to kill some time. This is definitely the best choice for this terminal. We sampled a few beers as we did not have an appetite nor did the choices encourage an indulgent. I would imagine after a couple of pints, if we had the time, we would however have sampled. Went there for a breakfast sandwich and was the only one in line. Had to wait 5 minutes to order then wait another 5-10 minutes for my food. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and it came out with sausage. I didn't even bother asking for a new one. They didn't even put a fork in the box for my potatoes so I had to go back for that. Stopped by here about 1130 for lunch the service was quick and the food was good not great. The reason this was a 2 star experience for me was that our dipping sauce had hair in it and we sent it back and our server said "there's only one little strand in it" loud enough for everyone to hear. Gross and unprofessional move on our servers part as well as she had an attitude the entire time we were sitting at the bar. Also other employees were complaint about each other loud enough for restaurant patrons to hear. Purchased meal + drink and tipped generously. Visited restroom and returned and was told to sit along the wall counter or no where at all. Server was reserving the many available tables for future customers; something I understand and is very reasonable. What irritates me is when i explained the tv is not visible from the wall counter and asked if I could sit in a single seat at the bar or at a two-top table she huffed and blew right past me, making a perfectly fine situation suddenly very awkward. I was going to continue being a paying customer and not use the restaurant as a place to kill time before flight but it appears this server at least had been burned before and not interested in giving benefit of a doubt. This morning while waiting for my flight at GSP, I decided to grab some take out breakfast from Thomas Creek. A friend had already gotten some, and had warned me that the cook wasn't friendly, but I still went anyways. The cook was a younger female. I was waiting in line, when the cook turned around to the line and yelled, "Are all of you getting food to go?!" We all shook our heads yes, then she proceeded to angrily sigh and roll her eyes, then turned around and continued cooking. I finally got to the register to order my food. The young lady that took my order was sweet and patient. After ordering, the cashier handed the order to the cook who then huffed once more and slammed the sheet of paper on the area next to the grill. She looked miserable to be working and treated the customers and her coworker with absolute disrespect. It would be enough to defer me from eating at Thomas Creek again. The food was cheap, which is a plus, and was ok. I would much rather have had Chick-fil-A had it not been a Sunday...at least they serve their food with pleasure. read more

Three stars but it's an airport restaurant. The food was good. I went with the blackened mahi pizza per the recommendation of my server. Good recommendation and interesting dish although it was heavy on all the ingredients except the mahi. Still hungry, I ordered the wings. Again asked, "barbecue or buffalo?" She recommended buffalo and they were excellent (even for wings). The beer was local, of course, and I enjoyed a glass of the "chocolate orange IPA" (not exactly an IPA but quite good) and then a glass of the other IPA. Both excellent choices. So bottom line, I'll eat there anytime I'm at GSP. Good food even at airport prices. read more
