This place is truly amazing, I love their staff, the energy of the whole place. It was family friendly and pet friendly. I had a great time!

This was my first time here. It's been a while since I have been to a local brewery. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was there to visit friends so I was a designated driver so I did not get to experience the local craft brews. I did however get to experience some pretty good food. I have the loaded french fries with pork on it. That was a meal in itself and was very good. Also had the double American burger. The loaded french fries were better than the burger. we sat out back at the picnic tables, which was very relaxing. I was jealous of food that I saw coming out to other tables. I had a party of 10 people arrive and me were attended to quickly. The staff is very friendly and genuinely seemed like they liked their job! The food looked awesome and tasted great! Came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was worth the trip. They have seating inside for those who want AC and plenty of outside seating as well. You order and then find some seating. We took longer to find a place to sit than it took for the food to arrive. Yup they were fast! They have plenty of beer options and beer flights so you can try a few. Everything we got from the menu was amazing. The staff in the front counter were very friendly and made recommendations on food. They have games upstairs which is great for hanging out with friends. We chose to have lunch at Thompson Brewing because they are child and dog friendly. Being able to enjoy a meal without having to find a place for our dog made our day much easier. We are visiting family in Riverside to celebrate a birthday and have our dog with us. Having a place that welcomed our dog was refreshing. Then, the food and drinks were a delicious surprise. Brewery food is usually pretty basic but their food was amazing, the drinks were fun, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and happy for our entire visit. Never thought I'd go to a brewery for the food but this place changed my mind forsure I tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich that was so juicy delicious and paired perfectly with their ranch ! Aswell as their bbq brisket sandwich that melted in my mouth served with a side of their coleslaw I slapped in the sandwich and I can't forget to mention the chipotle maple sauce a MUST HAVE if you visit . I didn't even know this stuff existed but now it's one of my new favorites! That's just the tip of the iceberg though they have sooooo many options to choose from I highly recommend this spot it your looking for great drinks and bomb food!!! Service is amazing aswell , everyone was so nice and made sure to check to see if we needed anything very often . We held an informal corporate even. the food the fantastic! We had shareables that were amazing! The beers were a hit and there was a beer for everybody. The night of the event was great AND pre-event planning was so easy with Martha. She made sure we had everything we needed and that she was ready for us. This was our first time visiting after seeing Thompson Brewing on social media and we were excited to try it out. When ordering the cashier was not welcoming again being our first time it took us a second to understand the menu. We ordered the flight that has dole whip and frozen slushies. The lime was not working which I totally understand happens but that was not communicated to us so instead of a flight of 6 we only received 4. When looking at our receipt it said a flight of 6 so I asked about the discrepancy, the first person to come to our table and explain was the girl that charged us and was condescending in her explanation. I understand I was charged $22.50 for 4, but at a table next to us a party got the same flight but theirs both came with 6. We asked them how much they paid and one girl paid $15 and the other $30 for the SAME flight. There is just a lot of inconsistency in the pricing and the portion size is a lot smaller than what's advertised on social media. Other reviews share the same sentiment. Hopefully in the future they can work on price/portion consistency and welcoming demeanors. read more

Went in for the first time last night and was amazed by their beer selection. First off, the way they display their beers so you can see the color is TOP TIER! The staff were quick to offer samples and discuss flavor profiles and selections. Personally I stuck w the Nut Brown (pause) and even left w a six pack to go! Best beer I've had in a long time. They have a huge back patio area and even had good live music. Definitely will be a regular spot now. read more

Wow! This is a nice hidden gem in the city of Riverside. You wouldn't think that a place like this would be so wonderful where it's located amidst all the industrial buildings. Thompson Brewing is a great brewery and eatery with a great outdoor patio and live music. It's a great hangout place for people of all ages to hang out and relax. It's got good seating outside and inside. Their signature burger and fries are fantastic! So good! I came here to meet up with a social group, and I had a blast. read more

Hidden brewery in Riverside. Love that they had Belgian beers which is rare for breweries to have nowadays. One line for everything (beer and food) They have a back door patio. Friendly staff. The guy taking our order was kind enough to be patient to let us try some seltzers they have on tap before we order a full pint, even with a line waiting to place their orders. Food was amazing. We got a smash burger with friends. We also got wings and BBQ fries. Delicious. Definitely get a flight to get a taste of all their beers or seltzers. Brisket 13.75 ipa 7.99 paid 23.64 for this the brisket was good had a lot of fat but not bad, I thought my order came with fries but it came like this . I finished it in less then 5 min I got the sandwich at first but almost paid 50$ so I said briskest alone didn't think it would come in this portion and amount of fat but still good. And minimum seating. But they had toys for kids so that's nice and had beer to go. read more

It was my first time here all the staff was super welcoming and encouraged asked questions! There was 2 seating areas, we sat upstairs. They had cakes you could play while waiting for your food or even if you're just there to have a couple of drinks. They definitely added a lot of food to the menu since the last time we were here a few years ago. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good except that the coleslaw just slid out of the sandwich with every bite. By the end it was just bread. The pretzel was unsalted so that was disappointing. All of the staff had good attitudes even though they were slammed. The food took almost half an hour to come out but perhaps they were shorthanded. The inside definitely has it's charm and it's clean. The outside patio is small but can still seat plenty of people and they have games available to play while you hang out. It was a bit pricey, but I suppose everything is these days. They had a great selection of beer and the boozy slushy was super tasty. read more

We've been here a few times now and always love this place! Casual, with good music playing, and a nice selection of good food too. The burgers, wings, chicken sandwich, pulled pork, BBQ and tots are all our faves here. And of course, all of the beers! Every flight I've done has been great. You order when you walk in at the front, and even if the line seems long, don't worry - it moves quickly and service is never slow.
