    Tomyum noodles

Food: 3/5. Food was great. We ordered son tom, green curry and tomyum noodles. Service: 1/5. We waited 50' for our food to come. The waitress would come to tables to fill up drinks but skipped us. She would make no eye contact nor come over to check on us during those long 50'. When we had to come to the counter to ask when our food would come, she gave a quick "it's being made" answer with no expression. It was an unpleasant experience and we will not come back.

Dined here yesterday evening with my friend and really really enjoyed the food there! So much so that I'm craving it again now and already thinking about going back even though it's quite a drive from my house. I got the pad kee mow, the chive cakes, the Thai iced tea with almond milk and boba, and the green iced tea with almond milk and boba and everything was delicious and super flavorful! I love that they were able to make all my dishes vegan and that they had almond milk for my Thai iced tea! Often times, I can't get this drink at Thai restaurants because there is no option for non dairy milk. I've gotten pad kee mow at many Thai restaurants and this was hands down one of the best I've had! The flavor was just sooo good! The chive cakes was an appetizer we ordered. I had never heard of it before and wasn't sure what to expect we got it because it sounded interesting. Well, we were in for a pleasant surprise because it was super tasty and the texture was really good. The sauce was also yummy! Service was good, food was good, 5 stars for me!

So happy I found this place! Will drive over an hour to eat here again. The employees made us feel so welcomed and checked in on us several times. The ambiance was a zen vibe and nicely decorated. The food, so good! They have a regular menu with your classic dishes. We ordered the dumplings, coconut shrimp, and Tom yum soup. Very authentic and beautifully plated. Our eyes ate first and our stomachs were so happy with everything. They have a chef's menu and we ordered the wonton bacon pad Thai. Such a creative twist to a well loved dish. It's hard to come by boat noodles and this one made it to my top 2 favorites, easily. Already planning our next feast here!

Chicken Pad Thai, elevated with some nice spice. This is the serving size from the children's menu. More than enough for my lunch.

While visiting Westerly I need a little food. Only ordered chicken pad Thai from the kid's menu. Asked for 3* heat. Excellent. I was impressed that the restaurant/server accommodated my request for a small meal. Kid's menu was their suggestion. Busy for takeout but the restaurant itself had a nice feel. Excellent , prompt service. Will return and sample other items from their nice menu

Chicken yellow curry, Boat noodle, Thai tea and Tom Yum soup

Stopped by for quick dinner in Westerly on our way home from Newport, and food at Thong Thai satisfied. Owner or the front lady was very welcoming and gave the impression of a family owned restaurant. My favorite was the Tom Yum soup. The Boat Noodle was alright, very sweet with hints of pho flavor. I've had something much better. Broth was piping hot, and noodle was over cooked. I didn't have the curry, but got a taste of it, and it was also very sweet. Thai tea was also very sweet. There seems to be a lot of take-out orders, so I'm sure locals love this place. Overall, I'd recommend if you crave some Asian food or if you're nearby. I'd give food here a 3.5.

Thong Thai... what a name! lol To be honest, it struck us all funny after having been drinking margaritas and wine prior to our visit. But anyhow, this was a cute little restaurant, the food was good, presentation was spot on and the service was great! We started with some apps... Steamed Chicken Dumplings and Coconut Shrimp. Both good! Little did we know our entree's came with a salad and two fried dumplings as well! For my meal I selected the Shrimp Pad Thai. It was good, but maybe just a little too sweet for me, as I found myself getting "sick of it" about half way through. My husband and our friend enjoyed their dishes, so overall, it was a good dining experience! I would go back, but I would choose a different noodle dish!!

I ordered takeout, and the food was ready within 20 minutes. The woman who handed me the food was really nice and welcoming. Great service all around. Here's what we ordered: crab rangoons, vegetable summer rolls, chicken satay, beef drunken noodles, duck pad Thai, duck lion city noodles, and a Thai tea. The crab rangoons were definitely the highlight of the meal. These were genuinely great -- crispy, creamy, flavorful, and just really satisfying. My family loved them, and I would go back just for these alone. I'm guessing they're even better fresh out of the kitchen. The vegetable summer rolls were okay. Fresh and decent, but I wish they came with more dipping sauce -- we barely had enough for three people. Would've liked some protein in them too, but they were still a solid starter. The chicken satay just wasn't it for me. It was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor, even with the peanut sauce. My sister and mom liked it, so I think this one comes down to personal preference, but I wouldn't order it again. As for the noodle dishes -- they were all just mid. The beef drunken noodles, duck pad Thai, and duck lion city noodles were fine, but none of them stood out. They weren't bland, but they also weren't memorable. I was hoping for bold flavors, especially in the lion city noodles, but that one especially fell flat. I expected a dry curry noodle dish and instead got something that tasted like a basic stir fry. Not bad, just not exciting. The duck in both dishes was cooked fine, but again -- nothing wow-worthy. The Thai tea was a miss. I could tell just by looking at it that it had too much milk, and once I tasted it, it was basically sweet cream with barely any tea flavor. Wouldn't get again. Overall, the service was lovely and the crab rangoons made it worth the trip, but everything else was kind of forgettable. I wouldn't say no if someone wanted to come back here, but I also wouldn't be the one suggesting it. Still, for the area, it's nice to have a Thai spot that's fast and friendly -- I just wish the flavors packed a bit more punch.

The menu had a little bit of everything ranging from Thai to sushi to Vietnamese, a very fusion type feel to it. The service was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Three items were ordered and tried. They consisted of the sushi nachos ($14.95), bao buns with chicken katsu ($12.95) and the Mystic River roll ($19.95). The nachos had diced tuna, sliced avocado, Pico de Gallo, topped with spicy avocado sauce and tobiko and served over fried wonton skins. There was a nice portion here. I thought they were going to be small wontons, but this was a pleasant surprise. There was a great ratio of flavors, and I really enjoyed the small dicing of everything. The bao buns were topped with sliced cucumbers, spring onions, carrots, and some type of sweet hoisin sauce it appeared. The chicken was very crispy and tasty. The bun was okay. It was a little tough. I did enjoy the sweet factor from the sauce to pair with the hot and crunchy chicken. The Mystic River roll had tuna, salmon, mango, as well as avocado topped with spicy mayo and was wrapped in a rice wrapper. This was alright. There was a lot of mayo present, which took away from the fish flavor, but it still was not bad. The rice wrapper was an interesting choice, but overall, okay. Will I go back? Probably.
