At this rate, I may never finish all of the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives joints in Vegas alone. At least I've knocked out this one. Those Guys Pies is a casual take on pizza (of course), cheesesteaks/subs, and chicken that has appeared on TV and hung around Yelp search results and some "where can I find ____?" threads. I put off going to their original spot because it was far from Henderson, but following their February 2020 debut and a certain global occurrence, it wasn't much longer until I really had to stop by this location. They share a small strip mall with notables such as The Codfather and the newer Ocha Thai Express, but I've gotten the impression during my visits to the aforementioned neighbors that they're the most popular here. Fortunately, hardly anyone else was around when I walked in late one evening after shopping at the nearby La Bonita supermarket (don't sleep on those grocery deals). Ribeye Cheesesteak ($11) Wit Whiz: the basics, and frankly more of a reason to try Those Guys than the pies, especially for a solo visitor. I was considering some of the fancier options but kept it simple with steak, onions (the "wit"), and the cheese-adjacent accompaniment which I've had more success with in the past than actual cheese. The meat portion was solid and had fairly average flavor, and the whiz and onions did help. The bread seems to be the same type of roll as most places offer, and it's nothing special. I seem to grow a little more disillusioned with this sandwich concept every time I try it, but it was pretty good overall here, just not the bursting-with-juices-and-unctuousness beef which you kinda hope to find. Fries ($3): really good. Unlike the place a few doors away, Those Guys knows how to do crispy fries that seemingly keep that texture for hours. The interior isn't quite as ideally fluffy as I'd like though, and the cook tonight seemed a bit heavy-handed on salt. Ketchup does help to hide that though, so grab some packets near the soda fountain. I can now recommend Those Guys Pies for cheesesteaks that are on par with anyone else you're likely to find in town, as well as great fries. Perhaps I'll have the chance to try their pizza eventually, but at least I've put a checkmark on this place for now. read more

My husband and I love trying all of the pizza places near home and Those Guys Pies was up for Sunday pizza night. I called my order in and was told it would 20-25 minutes for my order to be ready. When I arrived to pickup it was ready to go. The employee who took my order and the one in the shop were friendly. The Big Sexy Pizza had pepperoni, sausage, garlic, onion, and pepperoncini. The crust, red sauce, and cheese were tasty. We liked the pizza overall. The wings were meaty and crispy. I liked that the wings come plain with sauces on the side and you get to pick two sauces. I liked the Buffalo garlic Parmesan sauce. Our side Caesar was large enough for two to share as a side. Those Guys Pies has a large menu of pizza, wings, salads, sandwiches, and cheesesteaks. We'll be back for a Sunday pizza night or some sandwiches. read more

They DESPERATELY need new bread for the cheesesteaks. This was the softest bread I have ever eaten in my life...it tasted like Wonder bread. If you know you know. A cheesesteak needs something with more texture, more crustiness that will not be totally overtaken by the sandwich contents. This is why in Philly you've got the Amoroso roll, the Corropolese roll, the Carangi, the Angelo's etc.... I am 95% sure the roll at Those Guys is the generic "sub roll" you get in the basic bread aisle of a Walmart. Just terrible. Also, the meat was minced so finely that it took on the texture of ground beef. This tasted much more like a chopped cheese sandwich than a cheesesteak. The pizza was better, although it had a lot of flop and a weak undercarriage. I can't see myself coming back to this very overhyped joint. read more

A Christmas cold kept me home and away from my family this year. So for Christmas Eve dinner I treated myself to a pizza from Those Guys Pies. I ordered online and picked up in the store. The order confirmation said it would be ready in about 25 minutes. It was actually a bit quicker. It was already ready when I walked in the store about 20 minutes later. I thought about getting one of their specialty pizzas but I decided to customize my own. I ordered meatballs and onions in honor of my aunt and uncle. I added olives because why not. It looked delicious in the store when they showed it to me. It smelled even more delicious one what seemed like a very long drive home. Indeed, this was a delicious pizza. Big slices of well seasoned meatballs. A sufficient number if thin sliced onions. And handfulls of olives. A good sauce and enough cheese to cover the crust. Speaking of crust, this crust was thin and a little chewy. New York style. You have to fold the slices to give it some structure keep it from flopping over. I like that. However, the crust just below the cheese and sauce seemed a bit undercooked to me. Those five minutes I mentioned earlier when the pizza was ready before I expected could have been used to cook the pizza just a little more. There is a fine line between done and burnt. This was not quite to that line yet. Those Guys Pies gave me a good Christmas Eve dinner with friendly service. It looks like they have some pizza by the slice, sanwiches, wings and canolis. I think I'll need to try some of these other things and see how they stack up. I'll be back. read more

I went here to try their pizza, my first time (Sunday, 07/21; 3:30 PM). The gentleman at the register was very nice and polite and didn't rush me as I wanted to check out the menu. I ordered the Meat Pie (Sin City Square-thick crust) at about $29.00. I also added jalapenos to the pizza ($2.75). And I ordered fries while I waited. The fries came out promptly and were very good. The cook/manager(?) who brought them out was super nice. The pizza was ready in about 20 minutes which was perfect. I got the pizza home and just like almost all pizza joints, the toppings were pretty scarce. To start, for $2.75 I got 17 slices of jalapenos (a gallon jar costs about $6.00). So, there were 8 large slices of pizza, and I got 2 slices of jalapenos on each (educated guess... one jalapeno for every 5 bites). They didn't even have an effect when eating the pizza. There were about 30 slices of pepperoni, equating to only 3/4 pepperoni on each large slice. Bacon... What bacon? IMO, they maybe put two slices of bacon on the entire pizza. The meatballs were extremely thinly sliced. Most likely pre-frozen meatballs; no flavor. Some decent sausage and that's it. For $30, I expect the entire top of the pizza to be covered with toppings. A third of this pizza had no toppings. And it was a bit undercooked, a bit doughy in the center. The sauce had excellent flavor. Would I go back? Not for the pizza, but their sandwiches (I checked out some other customers's sandwiches) looked great. And yes, I break down stuff like this all the time. :) Thank you for your time. read more

Very awesome pizza spot! I had seen this place on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives several months ago and I had always wanted to give it a shot. What can I say, it was totally worth it. We ordered an 18" all meat pizza with mozzarella sticks and fries on the side. I had originally wanted some garlic bread, but I was told that they were all out of it, so I was cool with substituting it for fries. We had about two days worth of leftovers due to the size of the pizza. Try them out, you will not be disappointed. read more

So happy they are open during this pandemic. Many tables are stacked in the corner but there are a few you can sit at. We weren't sure what to order so we went with a regular philly with cheese wiz and a pepperoni pizza. The food was good and I really look forward to going back and being a little more risky with what I order. The menu has some great sounding items and I ordered basic things so I don't feel like I got a true taste of what they offer. Good pizza though I will order it again for sure as the sauce is great and the crust awesome, although the pepperoni's made it super dripping greasy. Each tiny pepperoni was a tiny cup filled with grease, but nothing a napkin can't fix. My only wish was: turn that TV down omg it was on a game show channel and it was so loud with some woman on the TV yelling it really ruined any chance of relaxing and enjoying the environment. Gave these guys two tries, and both tries were underwhelming. Crust usually seems chewy and not quite done. Hopefully you get the toppings you order on your pizza if you're getting it delivered. Pizza costs more than the average and doesn't taste like it's priced. Try the places next door if you want a good dinner. read more

I really really really wanted to love this place after reading rave reviews, seeing pictures of big pies with lots of toppings, and ordering online but still having to wait 15 minutes after I arrived. When I opened the box, my heart and stomach sank knowing I wasn't going to enjoy it as much as I hoped. I ordered half supreme and half shrooms. The crust was flat and chewy and the red sauce was bare. There were more bell peppers than anything else and the toppings were unevenly distributed on each half. Despite not having every ingredient in every bite, the recipes were good. The goat cheese, shrooms, and caramelized onions made for a good pizza if only they were more spread out. I hear the cheesesteaks are good. We may return for that but I can name a few places with better pies. read more

Solid place. I've had a lot of good pizzas at their Summerlin location. the pizza here was not quite as good as my previous visits to the other location but I'm sure that was just an anomaly. This was my first visit to this location and the standout were the chicken strips. they're huge and tasty and the pineapple/buffaly sauce turned out to be a new favorite. The service was great and the restaurant was standard pizza joint. I do kind of miss the old days of the pizza parlor but I don't think those even exist anymore. I have a lot of happy memories of Pizza Hut, Godfathers, Round Table and Shakey's when i was a kid. Pizza Hut is terrible now, Godfather's is apparently only in truck stops and Shakey's only has a few spots left in SoCal. I can't rememberr the last time I saw a Round Table. I think those Guys pizza is better than all of those so if they ever want to open a 70's/80's style pizza joint so I can relive my childhood with better pizza, I'm all about it! I've only ordered carry out and have learned some important things. The first delivery order arrived a little cold. I ate the first slice then put the rest in the oven to heat up. Major game changer. This pizza must be eaten warm. Its crust gets crispier and helps enhance the flavor. Don't sleep on the fried sugar donuts. Ok this one is going to hurt me A LOT I absolutely love this place. It's legit by far my favorite pizza place in town, the reason? The diablo pizza. Wow this pizza is so delicious I always get it extra spicy and have them pour the ghost pepper sauce but this pizza is Ghost Pepper Pizza Sauce, Jalapeno, Pepperoncini, Banana Pepper, Cherry Pepper, Sweet Chili Sauce. It's literally delicious I would love if it had actual ghost pepper on this but by far it's my favorite pizza ever! My wife got the THE GREEK Roasted Tomato, Charred Artichoke, Red Onion, Spinach, Feta Cheese. This one is really creamy and delicious. It's a nice one to eat when you get the diablo haha! You honestly will love this one as well. The wings here are ok. Next time I'ma get them tossed. I don't really like naked wings but that's a personal preference. Once again I don't eat pork but my nieces are this whole thing up quickly so I guess it was good lol! Now, let's get to the reason I gave a low rating, I don't wanna do this but, I ordered Blu cheese and look I know Blu cheese is mold but this Blu cheese got really moldy to the point that it was fuzzy and hard. I was able to pet my dipping sauce, it lost the ability to dip. This sucked alot. Let's face it Pizza helps the world go round and Those Guys Pizza are definitely doing their part to make that a reality. My quest to try some new pizza places since there are so many here in Las Vegas and Henderson my next stop was Those Guys Pizza. I used Yelp to help me find them and I ordered on the phone for a pickup. When I got there, I saw that they had been on drive-ins diners and dives at some point in the past. That's high praise from a local chef. Got there and saw some thing I hadn't seen in years since I lived on the East Coast. One of the guys in the back making pizzas was tossing the dough in the air old school style. The seating area I think, had roughly 6 or so tables, but the cooking area went way back and with everything you can order from the menu. They definitely need the cooking space. The Herrs chips and cheesesteaks give it away that the owner is from somewhere around Philly. They were pumping on a Saturday night and we had to wait for a few minutes, which was good since it gave me a chance to take it all in. Lotta people working and they were all in sync. Definitely give these guys a try if you have not yet. read more

The female cashier and Richard J went out of their way to announce my order to the entire staff and instructed them to ignore it--simply because I didn't tip. We will definitely be ordering from here again! Our regular spot burned down so we decided to give this place a try. They did not disappoint, their cheesesteaks are definitely in my top two spots in vegas! I ordered the works with extra mushrooms, onions, pickled peppers and 3 cheeses.
