16" thin crust with sausage. Love the midge triangles on square cuts!
    J J.

Been meaning to drop a review. Now that the AC isn't blaring for 22.75 hours a day I'm a little relaxed. Craving a good thin crust I ordered delivery from Chicago Guys. So happy they're on Decatur and 215 now! Thin crust pizza with sausage was awesome. Hot and fresh. Crispy edges. Cooked perfectly. NOT PICTURED -Chicago Dog. Ate it before a pic. Good Chicago dog for the price. Extra pizza sauce cup. Destroyed in some angry delivery event. I salvaged most of it. Delivery was way faster than quoted. Dude seemed a little strange but whatever. They have a bunch of other stuff on the menu but I've only had thin and deep dish pizza and Chicago dog and fries and Tom Tom tamale in all those years. They're all fantastic.

My first impression is a good one! The pizza is very flavorful and fresh! The smell from outside is what attracted me inside for an early dinner. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and the service was great. I will definitely be back.

Yelp Review 2023 #241: We were hungry after getting groceries nearby and ended up giving this place a try. And I love trying new places and it turns out to be good. Pizza is always a good choice. And I love me a good New York pizza, a Sicilian pizza, and a Chicago deep-dish pizza since the family is from Chicago. With only an hour left before they closed, we had to decide if we were getting food to-go or dining in. We were the last diners of the day. I don't want to be that inconsiderate diner that holds the employees hostage by walking too close to closing time. The young lady behind counter was so sweet. Service with a smile and a great attitude. They have all the Chicago favorites: Italian beef, Chicago dog, deep-dish pizza, etc. Their pizza comes in 3 different sizes and has several different combinations or you can customize what toppings you want. What I love most about a Chicago pizza is that even with 1 slice you'll be satisfied. Sure, you have to eat it with a fork and a knife with how thick it is and how the sauce is top instead of under the cheese. Downtown Classic Pizza: Sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions. We added pepperoni because pepperoni needs to be on a pizza. The perfect buttery crust and a good ratio of crust: cheese: toppings: sauce. Chef's kiss! There are two things I must have when eating pizza: ranch, and root beer. 5/5 Ranch: Their ranch dressing deserves a special mention. Any good Midwesterner loves their ranch. We put ranch on salads, sandwiches, pizza, onion rings, and fries. Even if I've been gone from the Midwest, there are certain food items that I have to have with ranch and it's automatic. And their ranch is amazing here and I was like "this can't be Hidden Valley. Hidden Valley is crap! I wonder what brand they use?!" It turns out they make their own! Whaaaat?! 5/5 Chicago Hot Dog: A proper Chicago dog has a poppy seed bun, all-beef frank, pickle spear, peppers, tomato slices, and chopped onions. Honestly, I'd rather get a gyro from Halsted than eat a Chicago dog. Should I eat a hotdog, I just want it basic with ketchup (this is how you get kicked out of Chicago so, I wouldn't dare eat hotdogs in Chicago) or with bacon. But the rest of my family likes this. I can't rate this because I didn't eat it but ordered it. Fried Ravioli: So, this didn't originate in Chicago per se but a city 300 miles away in a neighboring state of Missouri. But the Midwest embraces anything from surrounding states. But man, I haven't had a fried ravioli in ages and the first bite brought me back home but it was a hot bite and so I was jolted back to reality. You can get this with a side of marinara or ranch. But I like both and ranch is a must. 4/5 This place is small but clean. Casual and laidback. They have fountain drinks: Barq's root beer, Coke, Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, etc. After getting in the car, I was texting my Vegas Chicagoan friends about this place. Let's go!

This is now my 6th meal attempt here. The hotdogs are okay, Italian beef add$2 for cheese was meh at best. The pizza has all been out of the lunch display and has been consistent, consistently terrible. The crust is a thick silicon like mat that has more chew than laffy taffy, the rest of the ingredients are fine I guess. Service is okay to better than okay The location is clean every time , but that could be due to light traffic. You place an order and the young lady hangs out with the cook. I'm starting to think these are Chicago guys... maybe more Schaumburgish And not a smile in the whole place, the people who work here, I have seen 3 today, the young lady in the front was straight faced and the other 2 from the back both looked at me like I was actively peeing in their cornflakes. Vienna beef is the only thing this place appears to have going for it. Their original store on Durango my experience wasn't much different but I've only gone there once. They appear to be filling phone or internet orders and that means someone was disappointed by this place from a distance. This is all my fault because I keep coming back so I can get a decent hotdog close to home... I should just saddle up and go to Amore Whoever makes the dough for their pizza, please stop.

This is a decent place for pizza and they have great lunch specials . The service was friendly and it's a very casual vibe. My only complaint is that it's way to HOT inside this establishment. I could barely enjoy my food.

We received a menu in the mail for this place and decided to try it for lunch. It's a cute little restaurant with covered outdoor seating. We were greeted when we walked in and cashier was nice. We ordered the combo special of two slices of pizza and a drink for $7.99. I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. Spouse got two slices of sausage. The slices were just taken out of glass enclosure and given to us without putting them back in the oven for a few minutes. The bottom crust was thick but wasn't crispy and just barely warm. It was pretty cheesy but the pizza sauce was a little sweet for our liking. I loved that they had coke products with free refills. The covered outdoor seating was nice.

Simply delicious! The restaurant was very clean and had a cute atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. They have lots of Chicago style things on the walls and it felt like I was actually there! The food was amazing! I started off by getting the dough nuggets! They came out with a large tray of them and they were bomb! Super garlicky and buttery. Then we got a small Chicago style deep dish pizza with pepperoni and olives. It was really good and was loaded with toppings and gooey cheese! The service was great and I highly recommend this place to try!

Not thrilled. Stopped in to grab a slice of cheese pizza to go- no wait and staff was nice. Had the pizza in hand within five minutes. But it tasted decently stale

I've been a fan of Chicago Guys for awhile (although I'm more of a NY style kind of pizza fan). I'm really glad they came down this way. A plus is that they have seating but I'll comment on that further on. Ok, so anyway we were headed back from an afternoon of smallcyberblack-whatever shopping and figured let's grab a pie. Normally we stay away from pizza places on Friday or Saturday late afternoons/evenings just because they get super crowded and have tons of take out and deliveries. But I wanted to try Chicago Guys.... Went in, no other customers (around 4:15ish) . Placed an order for a small Chicago deep dish, one topping (well maybe one middle since it was a Chicago style). Ordered a small house salad as well . The bill was less than $20.00 with military discount and tip and "technology fee. I'm absolutely ok with the technology fee (nice way of saying cc fee) . Personally I don't care for the computerized "tip helper" that most places seem to be adding to their POS system, but that's just me... On to the food... The salad came out in a little plastic take out container, pretty decent mix and it was crispy. Pizza finally came after about 50 minutes.... There were a couple of phone/online orders picked up, but we were the only dining in customers... The "excuse" , a deep dish takes longer... Well sure, but a small 8" pizza shouldn't take that long. (Well it's never been that long when I've ordered other pies even at Durango . Perhaps the order sheet didn't say waiting or eat in or whatever. Customer service wise, counter person could have said something to the effect that our deep dish pies are taking 30-45 minutes is that ok? Or something to that effect . The pie finally came out, pretty good taste and good sauce to dough/cheese ratio. Now on to the establishment vibe itself.... I sure as heck wasn't looking for checkered tablecloths and bottles of Chianti on the tables, but it was pretty basic. A banquette against the wall with a row of two tops facing the wall and some tables in the middle and a high top or two. Both tables we tried along the wall were rocking due to uneven floor. I would have also mixed in a four top or two along the wall since a two top holding a pie and drinks would be very crowded. Pretty industrial theme I guess but probably is fine for a small place that probably does a lot of take out and delivery. Another plus is that parking is way better than Durango .... All in all, a good pie, good pricing, but perhaps a bit more emphasis on customer service and decor ... Will I be back? Probably only for take out or delivery...but welcome to the neighborhood .

First time here it did not disappoint and finally Chicago restaurant close to me where I can enjoy an Italian beef dipped or Chicago dog very happy. You can't forget Chicago deep dish either but I will try it next time. Since I cant get back to Chicago as often lately this helps bring home a little bit to me. Ambiance great signage inside and out looks really good done well. Plenty of seating available outside and inside if you would like to sit. Place is pretty spotless very clean. The only thing as northsider Chicagoan I'm a cubbies fan so white Sox signs need to be taken down lol. Just giving you all a hard time. But over all excellent inside and out. Now service was excellent I had ordered online I ordered it for 7 was a bit early like 15min. But they got it done pretty quickly and you know they make it fresh and hot before you get there so it won't sit too long. The young lady was very friendly and polite and made sure my food was all packed and ready to go didn't make me wait long. Let's get to the food appetizer fried ravioli yum yum yum it was crunchy , flavorful, filled just right with meat and you cannot go wrong with these highly recommend. The pizza slice was good just a sausage slice but crust is done great and not overbearing with too much sauce it's a great quick bite if you're hungry right away. The Italian beef with cheese yes yes it was juicy, cheese was toasted to perfection, the French bread on point fresh soft and it was dipped just right and meat was tender and excellent. Sweet pepper were great too on there. Also the ranch I dipped with my ravioli if you love ranch you need to try theirs. Will be back 100 percent and will try their deep dish next time. This is a new spot you need check out my

A must try for peeps from Chicago, We had a meatball sandwich and i had Combo sandwich with hot peppers "If you don't know what a Combo sandwich is, you're not worthy of this sandwich " and a tom tom tamale, It was $30 but to my surprise it was well worth it, The sandwiches were huge and very good, Chicago guys has a new weekend warrior customer for life making sandwiches like that, Can't wait to try the pizza. Already anticipating next weekend trip I'm getting a pizza puff and a pizza, Great job Chicago Guys Pizza.

This place just opened, I saw the "coming sign" decided to check again tonight and found they opened. I did online order for dinner. The service was great, ladies in front friendly with smiles. My pizza was ready at the estimated time. Food was hot, great quality and delicious. This is my new pizza spot for the family. I also ordered wings they were decent size, very delicious!!! One last note they are family owned, great way to support their business in community.

Unfortunately, due to their emphasis on dough, Solamente pizzas have an aggressively disproportionate ratio of crust to toppings. Coming from someone who usually thinks eating out means food that is too heavy or flavorful, I thought their pizzas would benefit from a lot more ingredients (or less dough). The problem is I'm not sure they can add any more toppings given the texture of their dough, as the middle of the pizza is already so floppy that their pizza was unusually messy to eat. I could not even pull a slice out without having what few ingredients were on the pizza sliding off. The kicker is I actually attempted to check them out a few weeks ago and they were entirely out of all their special dough pizzas despite going at around 6PM. Not sure if this reflected their immense popularity within the community or if they were having issues with product supply, but it was bizarre not being able to order their supposedly signature items at a primetime hour. I can't say this place isn't worth a shot as their dough truly is unique, but there's so many other competitive pizza options in Las Vegas that I would prefer to go back to instead.
