Amazing pizza! This was the best pizza I have had in years! I have been looking for a good Chicago style deep dish and this place nailed it! We ordered delivery and half expected it to not travel well. You can tell they take great care in their business. The pizza box had extra little folds to keep it secure, and they put foil on top which helps with warmth and prevents toppings sticking from the box. That cheese pull though!! Oh my goodness, it was something right from the "Goofy Movie", it you know, you know! It was so ooey gooey and good. I am so happy we found this place! The delivery driver was also very friendly. Have been to the other location on Durango several times, so when this location opened close to home, I had to give it a try. This pizza reminds me of home in the Midwest. It's hard to find a thin crust square cut pizza in Vegas, which is my go-to style of pizza I enjoy. My pizza came with plenty of real mozzarella cheese and a tangy, delicious house made pizza sauce. No fillers or sauce out the bag here. This is the real deal! The pizza was so good I crushed the "16 by myself, serving size was 4-5. Lol! This is now my 6th meal attempt here. The hotdogs are okay, Italian beef add$2 for cheese was meh at best. The pizza has all been out of the lunch display and has been consistent, consistently terrible. The crust is a thick silicon like mat that has more chew than laffy taffy, the rest of the ingredients are fine I guess. We received a menu in the mail for this place and decided to try it for lunch. It's a cute little restaurant with covered outdoor seating. We were greeted when we walked in and cashier was nice. We ordered the combo special of two slices of pizza and a drink for $7.99. I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. Spouse got two slices of sausage. The slices were just taken out of glass enclosure and given to us without putting them back in the oven for a few minutes. The bottom crust was thick but wasn't crispy and just barely warm. Simply delicious! The restaurant was very clean and had a cute atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. They have lots of Chicago style things on the walls and it felt like I was actually there! I've been a fan of Chicago Guys for awhile (although I'm more of a NY style kind of pizza fan). I'm really glad they came down this way. A plus is that they have seating but I'll comment on that further on. Ok, so anyway we were headed back from an afternoon of smallcyberblack-whatever shopping and figured let's grab a pie. Normally we stay away from pizza places on Friday or Saturday late afternoons/evenings just because they get super crowded and have tons of take out and deliveries. But I wanted to try Chicago Guys.... Went in, no other customers (around 4:15ish) . Placed an order for a small Chicago deep dish, one topping (well maybe one middle since it was a Chicago style). Ordered a small house salad as well . The bill was less than $20.00 with military discount and tip and "technology fee. I'm absolutely ok with the technology fee (nice way of saying cc fee) . Personally I don't care for the computerized "tip helper" that most places seem to be adding to their POS system, but that's just me... On to the food... The salad came out in a little plastic take out container, pretty decent mix and it was crispy. Pizza finally came after about 50 minutes.... There were a couple of phone/online orders picked up, but we were the only dining in customers... The "excuse" , a deep dish takes longer... Well sure, but a small 8" pizza shouldn't take that long. (Well it's never been that long when I've ordered other pies even at Durango . Perhaps the order sheet didn't say waiting or eat in or whatever. Customer service wise, counter person could have said something to the effect that our deep dish pies are taking 30-45 minutes is that ok? Or something to that effect . The pie finally came out, pretty good taste and good sauce to dough/cheese ratio. Now on to the establishment vibe itself.... I sure as heck wasn't looking for checkered tablecloths and bottles of Chianti on the tables, but it was pretty basic. A banquette against the wall with a row of two tops facing the wall and some tables in the middle and a high top or two. Both tables we tried along the wall were rocking due to uneven floor. I would have also mixed in a four top or two along the wall since a two top holding a pie and drinks would be very crowded. Pretty industrial theme I guess but probably is fine for a small place that probably does a lot of take out and delivery. Another plus is that parking is way better than Durango .... All in all, a good pie, good pricing, but perhaps a bit more emphasis on customer service and decor ... Will I be back? First time here it did not disappoint and finally Chicago restaurant close to me where I can enjoy an Italian beef dipped or Chicago dog very happy. But they got it done pretty quickly and you know they make it fresh and hot before you get there so it won't sit too long. The young lady was very friendly and polite and made sure my food was all packed and ready to go didn't make me wait long. Let's get to the food appetizer fried ravioli yum yum yum it was crunchy , flavorful, filled just right with meat and you cannot go wrong with these highly recommend. The pizza slice was good just a sausage slice but crust is done great and not overbearing with too much sauce it's a great quick bite if you're hungry right away. The Italian beef with cheese yes yes it was juicy, cheese was toasted to perfection, the French bread on point fresh soft and it was dipped just right and meat was tender and excellent. The biggest issue I am going to have is with grubhub. The price of the pizza was raised 3$ because the prices were listed incorrectly. So, my final price was "adjusted" after my order was placed. Second, when I ordered, there were distinctions between the pizzas (chicago, reg), my order said NOTHING about a thin crust pizza, BUT that is what I got. So not only did I not get the pizza I wanted, I got to pay more for it. Also, it's my fault for not checking. I won't be so trusting next time, if there is a next time for this place. Now for the food, pizza was fair and, in my opinion, overpriced (31$ for a 16 in thin crust pizza). Hopefully, it would have been better if I had received what I ordered. There were too many toppings for a thin crust pizza, so if you want meat and cheese wrapped in a thin, soft dough. This is the pizza for you. Also, had an order of fried ravioli. The best thing about my experience, but nothing to write home about. They were good , probably the only reason they got 3 stars instead of 2. We decided to try this place when it first opened because it's very close to where we live. There's limited seating inside given the space, the prices are up there, it's take a long time to get the pizza, the to go boxes are exactly great regular To-go boxes not a pizza box so we have to stack our slices on top of each other, I thought it was just because they didn't get all their products in but it's till that way now. What is really disappointing is 2x we have ordered delivery they've gotten my pizza wrong. We order 4- 12" pizzas everytime, all I get is 4 toppings and they always forget the green peppers. We just visited this location and I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious! We started with the dough nuggets with marinara and ranch. These were fried dough dusted with Parmesan deliciousness! Absolutely fabulous and unexpected! We got a small deep dish pizza. It took about 20-25 minutes to come out and it was very good! We were pretty full so took the rest to go and honestly - it was even better on day 2 and 3! The sausage is hand pulled and just the quality of ingredients - wonderful! The service cannot be understated either. They were so kind and lovely to help with recommendations. It's very small inside and does have a few tables to dine in. Cauliflower crust pizza is $17 based price on the menu, GrubHub it's $20 but after I placed the order, they added an additional three dollars charge for a menu adjustment. I guess it cost $23 instead? Business 101***We had high hopes but this one didn't make the cut. Wondering if it was because it was two teenaged girls running the place when we picked it up. Day after left overs: reheating the wings in the air fryer did help. We reheated the pizza the same way...for some reason, it was even saltier than last night. Reheating didn't help. We took four pieces out last night and four today (they are cut in 3ish" squares...a Total of eight pieces of a large pizza. The rest is now in the trash. Love trying and supporting small businesses. What's going on? We ordered a pizza by phone today. Order Time in 9/21/24, 5:06pm. Name on receipt Francesca. Location is 6475 N Decatur Bl, North Las Vegas. The order was picked up. This was the worst pizza ever. The pizza was dry and tasteless. The pizza was supposed to be Pepperoni and Mushroom. The Pepperoni was so skimpy, we couldn't even taste the meat. Also, the pizza was cut in tiny little squares, as if it was being served to children. We didn't request the pizza to be cut this way. So why wasn't it cut in the traditional manner? We ordered from this location before and the previous pizza was much better. This Pizza cost $30.00 for the 14" Hand Tossed crust. This is certainly too expensive for what we received. If you continue serving this poor quality of Pizza, you won't remain in business very long. We waiting for Costco's Deli to re-open.
