This place has been on my radar for quite a while, and I finally got around to trying it. I picked up a large pizza to go and some deep fried ravioli. The pizza was the best NY style pizza I've had in Las Vegas! The crust was perfect, and the pepperoni ratio was just right. I like a lot of sauce on my pizza, but since this was my first time ordering, I didn't ask for extra. I will probably order extra when I order again, but it was fine as-is. The ravioli was very good and they were large pieces. My only complaint was there wasn't any marinara sauce for the deep fried ravioli. Me and my girlfriend were trying to find a good pizza spot near our house and stumbled across this place. And I gotta say, food was superb! We were lucky to stop by here during their lunch special (from 1-4pm if I recall correctly) and their pizza by the slice was delicious! Had the perfect amount of crust, cook was done quite well, cheese and sauce, amazing! We also couldn't help but get an order of their spicy wings and fries (our cheat day, allegedly. Haha) and it satisfied our tastes for wings and fries! I did enjoy eating in their shop! It gave a very cozy local-vibe and the employees there were easy to talk to, very approachable and kind! The Shop has lots to offer! One bit of critique was their take-out pizza. As much as I enjoyed it, I felt there was just a touch too much on the bread base and not enough of the tomato sauce. This pizza shop has been around for a LONG time. I remember going 20 years ago. Stopped by Thursday night and the pizza was exactly the same as it was 20 years ago- DELICIOUS. Took an adventure today to Verrazano pizza. Its an Itty bitty restaurant. They have a big and a little video game. I was a little lost at first. We were unsure if we had to go order at the counter or if anyone comes to take an order. It was kind of difficult to see where you order. I think the pizza here is better than grimaldis. I loved the sauce and meatballs. Next time I'm craving some pizza, this is where I am going. These guys are really nice and make really good pizza. read more

They are selling slices of pizza again and table seating is available now. Also the menu has expanded from the last time I was there. They now have pork belly bites! Not a lot of people actually take the time and effort to make a great gluten free pizza. My daughter is gluten intolerant, not total celiac, but will react with rashes and reduced reaction time. We have found a gluten free diet has helped with her Athletics and overall day to day life. Of course pizza is one big dough ball so either knix the slice or knaw away on a cauliflower crust from the chain guys! Well, I can say this gluten free pizza is two thumbs up and a grin approval from my little girl. A square and fluffy crust bursting with flavorful sauce and toppings. Ive have been coming to Verranzanos for 40 years with family. I don't think the charm is there with the new owners when you call a the same guy that acts like care less about what you're asking I know they want you to use the app which I do but the app is kind of Jenky. I literally called to ask if I had ordered twice because the app sent me a text for 2 orders. I also called to let them know I was trying to put a 0.00 tip in because I wanted to give the delivery driver $10 in cash. When I called I asked did I tip on the app because it was hard to tell from how the app was reacting he said it doesn't look like it.... I wound up just going to my bank and realizing that I had tipped $5 on the app but also in notes I said I want to tip him in cash. The delivery driver dropped it at my front door which is great but I have more cash for him and he left I couldn't catch him. They need to understand this is a Vegas landmark and we feel like we should be treated like family its just not the same vibe. Pizza is ok but never hot on delivery. I suggest picking up. read more

When I was in High School I made pizzas in a little mom & pop Italian Restaurant in New Jersey and I was taught to always make sure the cheese went to the outside of the crust, especially when it was extra cheese. Verazano's pizza on Rainbow was most like what I grew up with so I went there when I wanted a little bit of home. While these guys forgot that rule plus I had been ordering one for the last several weekends, extra cheese & extra sausage and paid $24.92 for it, but this last Friday they charged me $27.62 for the same exact order, when I told the guy he says "we've had a price increase", with the other employees laughing in the background. While they may have made a $3 tip from me, but I will never return there again. Make sure they're not ripping you off too. And I'm sure I can find a little bit of home somewhere else! read more

I love this pizza place. I think it's really good. The cheese is just so chewy when it gets a little cold that's my favorite part.. I do like the lasagna even though it does seem just like noodles and sauce piled on each other then a lot of tasty cheese on top only but the sauce is chunky and tasty. This pizza was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint! We started with the fried raviolis and garlic knots. Both were incredible. We had a pepperoni pizza well done and oh my god! Cheesy, crispy, and greasy! Everything you could ever want from a pie. For dessert we had to get zeppoles (the only correct option is with powder sugar lol) and they were delicious. So light, fluffy and heavily dusted in powdered sugar. The tiramisu was also tasty. Everyone in there was so friendly and chatted with us the whole time we dined. Refills were always taken care of quickly and food was hot. This reminds me of an old school pizzeria like we had back home on the east coast. 10/10 highly recommend. Great pizza, terrible service. I made a mistake when I placed an order for delivery on the Verrazano app on a Monday night. I didn't see that it's closed Mondays. As soon as I hit submit, I realized it said it would deliver the next day (Tuesday) at noon. I immediately tried to cancel to no success. I called, left a voice mail, filled out the customer contact form, tried to cancel from Uber Eats. The next morning I called and left another voice mail to cancel. I called again when they opened and nothing, no one answered the phone. I got a text while I'm at work that the pizza was being made a delivery driver was on the way. I called again, nothing. I texted the delivery driver I cancelled my order and it was a mistake. I never got the pizza so I assumed it was cancelled. It charged my debit card. I waited a few days to process and called again to ask for my refund. They said they would relay the message to the owner. A few days later and nothing. I still got charged and had to dispute it with my bank. Really really annoying. It was a mistake and should have been an easy refund. Won't be ordering again. read more
