Also, the sign out front says "Our chicks never left, plus they make drinks." We met friends for dinner and drinks at Thrashers. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form pf payment. Weekly events are scheduled such as Crab Night, Naughty Bingo, Trivia Night, Prime Rib Night, Karaoke and Live DJ night. Indoors has the capacity to seat large parties. Outdoor seating is an option. Pull tabs can be played for those who like to gamble. Local craft beer as well as a cider is on draft. Happy Hour is offered Mon-day-Friday from 2pm-6pm. Taco Tuesday is offered: two pork tacos for $8 or four pork tacos for $14. During our visit, my wife and I slurped on Manny's and Bodhi. My wife ordered the Happy Hour Wings (10) for $14. I ordered the two Pork Tacos for $8. During our visit, service was slow to non-existent. When cashing out I was not given happy prices and was told that our order had not been entered into the system in time. I had to actually show a picture of my food with the date time stamp (delivered 15 minutes before HH ended) in order to have happy hour prices honored. I recently saw something on IG about AYCE Dungeness crab not at a casino, so I did my research and found Thrasher's Pub & Broiler. It's kind of divey (which I personally like about it). It's defnitely a no frills neighborhood pub in Bothell. Every night of the week there's something going on, just check out their website for details. But we came to check out the AYCE Dungeness crab Mondays. You start with chowder & bread, salad, and, the the star of the night, all you can eat Dungeness crab. Let's start with the chowder, honestly it was pretty good - maybe I'm biased because it was very bacon forward. ;) The salad comes with your choice of dressing and is crisp and refreshing. Then comes the Dungeness crab legs, with melted butter. You can eat as much as you want, the staff will come by periodically and check on you, asking if you want more. I'm not sure if there's a time limit, it didn't seem like it, but maybe it depends on how busy they are. By the end of the night, my hubs and I probably put away at least 6 crabs. Staff were sometimes a bit slow to come around, but I was ok with that as I was working my way through the crab. My only complaint is I wish they had some wet naps to wipe my hands, they did have rolls of paper towels, though. I think next time I'll ask for a water bowl with slices of lemon. Honestly, this may be the place I take my friends and family when they visit and crave Dungeness crab. This place has been a godsend since they take orders until midnight and have a beef dip that hits the spot when you're craving that bar food. They've always been consistent for me and never had any issues ordering from them many times. I've tried a good bit of the menu and this is what I've found: Beef Dip - 4/5. The au jus is usually oversalted and the beef dip itself is nothing fancy but it absolutely hits the spot without any major complaints. The beef is a bit dry but that's kinda what you expect and doesn't matter too much with the au jus. Fries - 4/5 crinkle fries are honestly great and dear lord YOU MUST GET THE RANCH ITS SO GOOD. Super creamy and flavorful without the buttermilk sourness I hate in ranch when it's a fry dip. Pretzel - 3.5/5 Will hit the pretzel spot but could be softer and a smidge more flavorful. Nacho cheese it comes with is only a slight step above cheeze whiz and not for me. Meatballs - 3/5 will hit the meatball spot but nothing to write home about. Loaded Potato Skins - 2/5 I've only got once and they lacked salt+flavor so were bland and tasted a bit undercooked tbh. read more

SLOW service, inaccurate menu. Arrived Friday night just before six. Crowded and noisy. Waited about 10 minutes before server stopped to take our drink order. She returned and dropped it off and I started to say "We're ready to order" but she was already gone. Might have been end of her shift but we never saw her again. After waiting 30 minutes with no staff (only 2 people working front of house) even getting close we went to bar to order. The menu said "battered cod" so ordered that. Food came out in about 15 minutes. Fish was breaded, not battered. Yes it matters. You can get breaded fish anywhere. Good battered fish is a whole different thing. This fish was fine for what it was. After finishing, waited another 30 minutes with no service so went to bar to pay. By that time place was nearly deserted. Wanted to return for Monday "all you can eat Dungeness crab" but not if I have to wait 30 minutes for each refill. We're done. read more

If you're looking for a quick drink and food around the area, this place is good. Sort of has a divey vibe but I don't mind it.

My friend invited a big group to celebrate her birthday on a Monday evening when Thrasher's has all you can eat crab legs. For $39.99, you get a salad, chowder (with a piece of Texas toast style garlic bread) and then, you guessed it, crab legs. The atmosphere is sports bar / dive bar. Lots of TVs and sports themed signage, I think they had a pool table in the back but I didn't really check it out. Because we were a big group, we were in a separate alcove, which is apparently the space where they keep their Christmas decorations in boxes. Every table has a roll of paper towels. What I'm getting at is, come as you are, no need to dress up. The service was great. I can't nitpick service when we're a party of 14-16 guests, with people arriving late and dipping out early, etc., we got refills of crab when we needed them (c'mon, that's the most important part!) The salad was just meh (My advice is to skip it and save room for the good stuff) but the soup and crabs were great. The crab was cooked just right so that the meat came out in a nice chunk. The meal is a bargain, you can't buy crab at Costco at that price, and we had a lot of fun. This pub is not close for me, but I might have to make an excuse to head north on a Monday night again! read more

There is a right way to be understaffed and overwhelmed, and then there's the way Shannon, the manager, decided to handle it. Shannon ignored customers instead of making eye contact and acknowledging their existence. If she wanted sympathy tips, she should have explained. People are accommodating if they know what's going on. When we went to cash out, we asked that the food we never received be taken off the bill. She did take it off the bill, but not before telling us she that brought it out. I was watching and waiting for that food. She brought out a bunch of other food items, but sliders and fries were not one of them. I've been told that management changed recently, which makes sense because I've never been ignored at Thrashers or had food not come out when it was supposed to. If the new owners could fix the disgusting bathroom, that is a star right there. There is a super gross smell, and I'm fairly certain all women feel the need to hover over the toilets. read more

Used to be a great dive bar back in the day. Recently I went in there with a few friends and all of us came to a similar conclusion and that is it feels like a failed attempt at cleaning up the dive bar while attempting to keep the parts of the character the new owners liked. It seems like it misses everything, it's not a dive bar, it's not a "good pub" it certainly and isn't a place for mixed drinks. The food is ok, not like it was and prices are high, I mean I could go to anyplace around here and get a beer for the same if not less and have a great mixed drink. Just started coming here again after a long while and received amazing service both times! Shannon, Mars and Cliff were absolute darlings and took such good care of us. Jamie and Sierra were also incredible and were reading our minds by the end of the night (as if i don't only get one kind of beer)! Also - i remember a couple years ago getting a ceaser salad here. No shade but it was horrible dressing. like Kraft or something.. My friend got a ceaser this time (despite my advice) and oh...my god??? It is the best home made ceaser dressing i have ever had. The all you can eat crab was very good from start to finish. Usually it starts off with really good crab and then you start getting the old pieces, but this was not the case. We've been here maybe a dozen times over the past two years. The servers used to be mostly friendly. Now, they are mostly not. We have never expected the food to be tremendous, but is was passable - until recently. And their beer selection is completely lame. How can a sports bar have no decent lagers? I think this pub does a great job with food. Had a club sandwich and a burger with my husband there last night, and both were outstanding. They use high quality ingredients and always have nice specials. Definitely heading back sometime soon for their Thursday Night Prime Rib. Beware of Thrasher's strict carding policy before you drive all the way over if you have friends/family out of town/don't have a horizontal license. Tonight was the third time my friends (all separate incidents) were not allowed in due to vertical IDs (that were still valid in other states). I had some friends invite other friends who were visiting from out of town from a state where a horizontal ID isn't required, and Thrasher's still wouldn't budge. I know previous times they have let out of state IDs slide, so it seems to depend on the waiter you get. I used to frequent for Naughty Bingo and Trivia, but it has been such a pain lately since Thrasher's has kicked out my friends on multiple occasions, even if they weren't drinking! I try to warn everyone who I know is coming about the rules, but sometimes I don't know who other people invite and if they tell them or not. I understand that rules are rules, so I suggest they post an un-missable sign on their doors or post their policy on the website, so people don't drive all the way over before having to drive back. read more

I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want to draw a crowd or wait for a table next time I go but I will. FYI, Mondays is all you can eat Dungeness crab night. It is first come, first serve. I went with some coworkers after work this week and it was exactly what I expected. You have your grungy pub decor with the game machines, tv on the wall, pool table, bar, some booths etc. Would you eat off the floor here if you dropped something? Definitely not. Is it clean enough to eat at, obviously yes! If you want a table, I recommend getting there as close to 5pm as you can because that is when the feast begins. This week wasn't so crowded for some reason but people who had been before have said they have to wait for tables all the other times. The servers and bartenders are all very nice. The server walks around taking orders and keeping an eye on if your plate is full or empty. You get around 2 halves at a time. They give you the choice of soup or salad to begin with and your first serving comes with some garlic bread. The butter that comes with is unsalted I am pretty sure. It almost tasted bland and like it needed flavor. I am not sure if the crab is the freshest it can be but it is pretty good for the price. One of us also ordered the wings and another some fries. They have happy hour 3-6 pm which you can get some of appetizer menus are half the price but you should know they are also half the portion. So I would rather get full order. I basically tried all appetizer menus and they are mostly good; super nachos, fried mushroom. During happy hours, you can get $1 happy fries in regular portion. I liked how they have special event for each night. I like the $3 kill the keg on Tuesday which you can get a beer with $3. I don't know how to write this review. The very first visit was amazing, and I've gone back a couple of times and each time it seems to get a little worse. They are only operating at 50% seating, nothing at the bar, outdoor seating has been added. I've only come at midday so I can't speak to the evening service. Their menu is also limited. I can say that the Friday fish and chips is the bomb. Delicious! I ordered it on the server's recommendation. On this particular occasion the waitstaff was happy, talkative, having fun with the patrons. I had an absolute great time. Another time I went and ordered the nachos. Not a good choice, and the waitress agreed it wasn't one of their better items, and this particular visit left me wondering if I was at the same restaurant I visited before. I guess my thoughts are that the pub is a bit inconsistent. I'll probably go again, especially when craving fish and chips and a beer. read more

Went here with a friend and spent 10 minutes at the bar trying to order a drink. Then was told we would get faster service at a table as they were doing table service. Waited 25 minutes at a table no service. Talked to a patron beside us and he says he'd been waiting 25 minutes just to order. When she did take his order for a beer and bacon he received the bacon but no beer. We decided to go to the bar as people were getting serviced there. While standing there a table of four said they had been waiting 40 minutes for the check. I can only imagine they spent another 15-20 waiting for a check. After hearing this we decided to leave wasting about an hour with no drink or food. Will never go back. If I was the owner of the bar I'd be appalled this ever happened. read more

We have come here for years for karaoke and trivia. We have just been asked to never return. The waitress, Star, forgot to but my food order in. I said, no problem, I'll grab something elsewhere on my way to work and not to worry about it. She forgot to bring my wife her bleu cheese, so we asked her again for it. After about 10 minutes, we asked again for the bleu cheese. I got up to use the restroom and as I did, Star had come to the table and I heard her say something about bleu cheese. When I returned to the table, my trivia teammates were in shock and upset. Apparently, star had asked my wife if I was at the bar asking again for bleu cheese and that we don't care about here and only Brian from our team cares about her. She proceeded to say she WAS going to give our group 50% off our bills but now she will charge us for every sauce and soda ordered on top of our other drink and food orders. She then went in a tirade about a guy from our team who wasn't even here tonight and then told us to Find somewhere else to go on Wednesday nights, and to never return. The absolute nerve of this woman to mess up so bad as to forget to put in my food order, then kick us out because she also forgot our side if sauce. We didn't get mad for her forgetting my food, and this is how she treats us? We have been coming here for years and our group spends thousands upon thousands of dollars here every year.
