I told her that I'm allergic to black henna multiple times, specifically PPD, but she insisted that her henna is 100% natural and that there's different kinds of hennas and hers is just a naturally darker one. I confirmed multiple times because I said that I thought henna was orange and my hair is black and I didn't want to henna orange into my hair. She reassured me that it was completely safe and natural, and that there was no way anything would happen because there are no chemicals. 24 hours later my eyebrows are super red, itchy, and have started to blister. All signs of a chemical burn. I messaged her asking for the ingredients that was used so I can take it to the doctor, but suddenly she's in an accident or her car is on fire and she wants to talk to me on the phone. I tell her to call an employee instead to send me a photo of the product. Now she doesn't respond. I went to the salon again today to try to see what the heck she put on my face but suddenly the product is in the garbage that was taken out yesterday, and they don't have any more of this product to show me. They are lying about their products and take no responsibility for causing this, especially when I had specifically disclosed this particular allergy. NEVER GO HERE. I will be filing an official complaint with the state and small claims court. This is totally unacceptable.

I have not tried their threading, other waxing, or facial services, but I always see another customer in here getting their brows done. Threading services start at an AMAZING low of $3 for the under lip. It is $10 for brows and $30 for the whole face. Waxing starts at $10 and a Brazilian is listed as $40 but they almost always have a good deal or package going on. (They have a Valentine's day package special going on right now where essentially you pay $25 for each Brazilian!!) I initially found this place through Groupon and after coming back for 2 more Brazilians, I am happy to say that I will be a forever-returning customer. The staff here are consistently nice and professional which is very important to me. With my previous experiences at other salons using Groupons, they tend to hike up their listed prices and ask for a 25% tip so essentially you are almost paying as much as the Groupon you bought it for. However, My Brows is a no-pressure place. They never demand a specific percentage, but because of the friendly environment and service, I always end up tipping the staff here generously. This is not the most sparkling clean establishment, but it does the job for a great price. I personally have never gotten an infection or burn from here.
